Good bagels, good burgers, and fantastic tater tots! I would recommend trying them out if you are in the area.

Mothers Day , wife wanted a bagel sandwich for Brunch. Ordered 2 for pickup. First sandwich was fine, the second a bagel with lox LTO was a joke when opened up it had no Lox, I called and explained and they found order but claimed they mistakenly put lox flavored cream cheese on the sandwich. I stated "wrong" it was plain cream cheese, they insisted it was flavored cream cheese. Mind you I had paid for real Lox., I again told them they were wrong, but they again claimed it was flavored Cream cheese. I received no satisfaction, with all of the other restaurants available for breakfast sandwiches, I won't be going back. read more

WHO KNEW? I've probably passed this place a thousand times over the years, but it's in a non-descript plaza with minimal signage that is honestly, a little hard to see. It has never, ever been on my radar. But then I'd seen a couple of locals rate their cheesesteaks as one of those.... hidden gems. THERE, I SAID IT. So we stopped by, got one to go to share, and tried it out at home. It was EXCELLENT. Nice seeded roll, very generously seasoned with just the right amount of Cooper sharp cheese, very meaty and yes, MOIST. While it's not in a location that is anyway convenient to me, I'd definitely make a pit stop next time I'm in the area in need of a great cheesesteak. read more

Ordered a toasted Asiago breakfast sandwich with extra cheese extra egg and bacon and a small order of tater tots. The toasts were crispy and perfectly seasoned. The bagel was def double egg which I'm very happy about as some places skimp when you pay extra, I would only wish that there was extra cheese and most importantly that the bagel was toasted it did not at all seem as if it was. Our usual spot for cheesesteaks was closed for the holiday so we ventured out to try another spot that has been getting great reviews. This place has a small counter if you decide to eat in. Although I didn't try the bagels, I did notice that they were very big. We asked the counter person how the bagels are made but she did not know. Now for the cheesesteak, it's made with 100% fresh ribeye. I ordered it with Cooper Sharp American and fried onions on a seeded Liscios roll. It comes with seasoned tots as well. You can expect a freshly baked Liscio's roll topped with a heaping pile of chopped meat, gooey cheese, and nicely cooked fried onions. I pay homage to those who can finish the whole thing in one sitting. If that's not enough, you get a side of fries automatically - you get tots by default. So yes, the secret is out. Raceway Bagels makes a killer cheesesteak. I almost don't want the word to spread but I believe in sharing the wealth. Pay them a visit, cheat on your diet if necessary. This place is a breath of fresh (bagely) air! After writing off another local bagel place for just plain sucking, Raceway came to the rescue. This place is clean...super clean. The coffee areas at bagel joints tend to look like who-did-it-and-ran by mid morning, but not here! They offer a wonderful variety of breakfast platters, sandwiches, and some unique cream cheese flavors. And the breakfast sandwiches come with a side of tater tots. What? It's like a trip down memory lane every time I bite into one! Their bagels are on the softer side, more NY style, which I love. By the advice of the Yelp community, I knew I had to try the cheesesteak. I would like to start by pointing out the steep price of $17, no add-ins, includes tots/fries. Okay bring it back in..Now that we're moving past that, it's nothing but clear sky's. This monster easily made about 4-6 meals. The flavor is on point! Didn't feel the need to add any ketchup, hot sauce, or (god bless my heart) extra s&p. We did request provolone cheese, but being that cooper sharp is superior here, that was overlooked by the preparer. Fortunately that's something I can look past when the big boy is so good. I am VERY happy I have tried this and have already started spreading the word of this monster steak sando!! Additionally, we ordered the burger. 3/5. It's smashed & on a brioche bun. Better than a drive thru but nothing special (at least it was avg pricing). Same goes for the bagels - they're "okay", nothing to write home about. Chicken salad - weird. Never had it with mustard before. Atmosphere is a shop, it's a pick up and go place. Knocking a star because it's a bagel shop. Been seen a lot of posts lately about Raceway Bagels by B-Uno's which of all places is oddly making cheesesteaks. Luckily they're absolutely stupendously deliciously blissful. They shouldn't even have to worry about bagels this is where it's at. When ordering they ask if I wanted seeded or non-seeded roll which I thought was a great touch. This moundy meat missile monstrosity fed me and my wife perfectly with a ton of meat. The tots automatically come with it and they were a great accompaniment. The goopy blend of cheese, onions and perfectly seasoned meat were a symphony of harmoniously orchestrated flavors upon the palate. Each bite was good as the last. This is in the top tier of cheesesteak destinations for sure. read more

Stopped here today. Ordered a cheesesteak with fried onions and Cooper sharp. I didn't realize that tots or fries were included with it, so I opted for the tots. Well, this thing was huge. Great cheesesteak, plenty and I mean plenty of meat, nicely fried onions and lot of Cooper sharp blended in perfectly. Tots were good but totally not needed. Raceway Bagels is a fantastic bagel shop that offers not only some great bagels, but their menu is filled with some terrific items beyond a simple bagel and cream cheese. They make a good cheesesteak, which should not be terribly surprising considering that they are not too far away from Philadelphia (the mecca of cheesesteaks). Their chicken salad looked pretty solid, as well. Raceway Bagels has a lot of great things going for it. I would definitely recommend Raceway Bagels and I give it five stars. read more

I was visiting from out of town and this place came highly recommended for their cheesesteaks. Driving in the place is in a short strip mall and very unassuming and when you look at the outside of it it looks like it is just a bagel place but wow was their cheesesteak good. There aren't many places to sit inside to just plan on picking it up and eating elsewhere. I got the cheesesteak and I told them I had a garlic allergy and they made sure to make my steak with no seasoning. The bread was a sesame roll which added a nice texture and flavor and the cheese was a Colby cheese and was just the right amount. It was a huge sandwich and worth every penny. Highly recommend. Be prepared to wait. I go in just wanting to get a few loose bagels--SHOULD be a quick in and out visit right? Nope. The people in the front don't look organized at all. They're doing their own thing at times and don't have a dedicated employee to greet and take orders. The most frustrating sight--while there's about 6 customers waiting inside--is seeing one employee worry more about the music being played instead of helping customers get their orders. I watched him on his phone skip songs and then turn the volume way up (louder than it needed to be inside a small to-go shop). Today was really bad. Ordered a BEC on a sesame, they put it on poppy, ok fine, no biggy, opened it up, half a strip of bacon and barely any egg or cheese, and the bagel was soft as wonder bread. Not great. Also got a croissant with egg and cheese, runny egg and on a burnt croissant and soggy potatoes, plus they wrote "it's hard when we are busy" in the comments on the scrambled egg, which we had no idea it was busy since we ordered online. read more

These are by far THEEEEE BEST fricken bagels I have ever had!! The Asiago Jalapeño is to die for !!! The cinnamon raisin ... so fresh and delicious. I've only been here once but did not like their bagels. I had a sausage, egg and cheese on a bagel. The bagel is very large and has very little "bagel" texture, it is not chewy. It was more like a Kaiser roll, the egg and sausage had no salt or pepper. Overall, I did not like their bagels but the place is clean and well run. I would like to preface this by saying I am in no means bashing the place but this is just my honest review of Raceway Bagels in Berlin, NJ. This was me and my family's first time ordering here. We all chose breakfast items. My husband got the BEC on a chocolate chip bagel w/ a side of tater tots. I got the waffle combo which included eggs ( I chose scrambled hard) choice of meat (bacon) and tater tots. We also ordered two additional waffles for my children. My husband picked up the order and there were no tater tots in the whole order which I found strange (I was on the phone with him during pick up) because the gentleman who took the order repeated it back to me with no issues before hanging up the phone. My husband also said someone told him that the waffle combo doesn't come with tater tots when it clearly states on their online menu that it does. However, no biggy as my husband just ordered tots separately as we figured somewhere a mistake was made in communication of the initial order. He came home with the food and when my children and I took the first bite of the waffles we immediately spit them out. They were so bitter/sour and tasted as if the batter was mixed with dirty mop water...not that I would know what that tastes like but if I had to describe it it would be that. They were so awful that my dog wouldn't even eat it. My eggs were also very wet and runny. My husband said his sandwich was subpar and he didn't really care for it. Needless to say it was $37 wasted and we will not be ordering from here in the future. read more

I almost got my lunch at Wawa but I passed this little bagel shop on my way there. Not only did they have my favorite drink (tropical citrus vitamin water) but, they also made an amazing chicken salad on Asiago cheese bagel. They even threw in some tater tots.
