Attempt to remove their sticker they put on without asking
    Taylor S.

Suspension work was good. Frustrated as fuck with just about everything else. Let's start off with calling in and getting a quote. I was mainly worried about the time because I needed to get a rental as my bike is my commuter. They told me 2 weeks so I held off, then they later said 1 week so I decided to go for it. I bring the bike in and the new cost is an extra ~$200 because they didn't put in the rear suspension work too. Sure not a huge bump let's do it anyways. I call a day before its supposed to get done and find out the forks haven't been anodized yet so it will be another week. So I extend my rental, had I been given a few days notice I would have made other plans to borrow a vehicle to save money, but I didn't have time to schedule anything. I know this isn't their fault, but it adds to the foul taste of the entire experience. During the 2nd week of the rental I had to go to LA and the rental got keyed. So now I have to pay my deductible on the rental. The cost of their delays just skyrocketed for me. So I call the day before and they confirm by 1 on Friday. I show up the day it is supposed to be done at 12:30, and end up waiting almost 3 mores hours. The rental needed to be returned by noon or I wouldn't have been early. To top it off I paid to have the forks anodized black because I want to black out my bike. Well they went ahead and slapped their stickers on the forks. I didn't want to complain there after already having such a terrible experience so I decided to remove them at home. Well now I have some ugly ass residue of some of the letters. Not once did they reach out to let me know about any of the delays.

I cannot thank Richard enough for helping me! His patience! Product knowledge! Ability to simplify! All around 100/100 customer support. I've never done suspension before and his confidence that I could do was unmatched. Furthermore, the quality of the product is amazing and already feels completely different. I won't hesitate to order from them again in the future!

This is the Race Tech front springs with the aluminum pipe Race Tech provided to make up for the 60 millimeters of missing coil.

Motorsports is a passion for me. Race Tech enjoys a reputation for producing quality products, so I thought. I purchased a pair of front springs for my Tenere 700 from Race Tech. The OEM front spring length is 420 millimeters. The front springs provided by Race Tech was 360 millimeters and included with the front springs was a 16 inch aluminum pipe. I called Race Tech and a really contentious (rude) woman responded to my inquiry. This amazingly rude woman told me I need to cut the aluminum pipe to make-up for the missing 60 millimeters of missing coiled front spring. Thinking I was crazy, because I know reducing the number of coils in the front spring with an aluminum pipe will reduce the amount of travel, I checked their web site and no mention of the 360 millimeter reduction to the 420 millimeter OEM front spring. The kicker here is, this very nice lady on the phone told me they do this to ALL Tenere 700's, even the Tenere's they prepare in their shop! As should be apparent, Race Tech has scammed me in the sale itself and I am certain they will try to scam me again when returning their unusable and substandard front fork springs. Simply stated,Race Tech front springs do not meet OEM standards necessary to maintain the minimum amount of travel provided by Yamaha's OEM front fork springs. Buyer Beware.

Purchased a shaft seal for the front suspension. Based on what the size they listed on the website I purchased the part, once received the part it was a different size, and this exact part on the OEM website or RMATV is less expensive. 60$ with shipping for a 10$ seal seems bananas.

The turnaround time for rebuilding a pair of Italian rear shocks was decent (3 weeks).

These guys talk a good talk. They're web site is a good one. My forks blew a seal after 5000 miles. Now they won't return my call.

My son and I were greeted by Louie at the front and he helped me out with the multiple questions I had and gave me the answers and advice I was looking for.

I would always to stop in and check out the new SXS's and Motorcycles. The best two things about them that no other dealer offers around here are open on Mondays and yet they still offer that family owned environment business I felt. They're not so huge that they have multiple stores and that corporate mentality. I know this industry is tough to survive in but they seem to be doing great. Just last Monday I was putting installing a new after market gas tank and a preparatory Can Am part I needed and I was able to Oder it from them on a Monday over the phone and only waited 2 days for them to get it to the shop. They saved me at least 1 day because I'm putting my SXS back together before Christmas when I have a trip planned after. The parts girl was knowledgeable and quickly handled my order. I definitely know the place I'm going to order from now on for parts. Even from farther away they're worth it. It's doesn't hurt that the girls are attractive as well as knowledgeable too!

Parts department forgot to call me when the tire was shipped in but, other than waiting an additional 10 days, it wasn't bad of an experience. I'll be coming here for additional work.
