Monkfish Cheek Goujons, Tartar Sauce, Tarragon Oil
Vivienne C.

Stumbled upon here while in the area and was so glad we did because the food here is absolutely amazing. In London, you really cannot guarantee the quality of a randomly chosen restaurant, even at fine dining places like this one, but Rabbit is really something else. Was seated promptly without a reservation, what a treat! - Whipped Cod Roe, Seaweed Tapioca, English Caviar - Think smoked salmon whipped with seaweed crackers. It was honestly so delicious, as small as it was, and it was so interesting because the smokiness of the salmon was not overbearing and contrasted well with the seaweed. - Monkfish Cheek Goujons, Tartar Sauce, Tarragon Oil - The monkfish here is delicious, the breading almost gives me elevated McDonalds chicken nugget breading vibes. The quality of the fish was amazing, I really appreciated its flakiness, and went well with the chunky tartare sauce which had these delightful "fruits" in it which I couldn't quite name or pinpoint. - Tranche of Halibut, King January Cabbage, Tarragon Butter Sauce - The ingredients here in general are incredibly fresh and all are of very good quality. The sauce here is incredible and definitely elevated the dish, pairs extremely well with the cabbage. The halibut was very tender but there were still bones in it, so be mindful of that. - Salted Caramel Chocolate Torte, Whipped Mascarpone - The chocolate torte itself was okay but with the mascarpone, the dish elevated with its perfect balance of sweet and salinity/cheesiness. I feel like you could skip this dessert though. I wasn't the biggest fan of the decomposed marmalade which was just orange chunks. Overall, fantastic meal at Rabbit. Honestly, cannot wait to come back again to try their lunch special/other a la carte options. Also, the fact that it was on the Michelin Guide just makes it even better although I do feel like they deserve at least a star for this meal.

A mix of high end and familiar comfort. The space is very intimate with limited seating. I went a few months ago for a solo dinner while in London. It wasn't too difficult to get a last minute reservation. I started with some bread, then had the chorizo and pork. It was definitely too much food for just one person but a nice journey of flavors. A great location situated near many Chelsea shops.

British ingredients. Seasonal, high quality cooking. Family run. And all at very reasonable pricing, especially by Chelsea/Kings Road standards. I don't recommend places much these days but it's clear Rabbit deserves more attention. King's Road is in danger of becoming a sea of restaurants more focused on pretentiousness, facilitating good Instagram pictures than the actual food. Rabbit makes food that is both beautiful and packed with real cooking talent. As for specifics what I enjoyed may be off menu by the time you read this as they do cook seasonally but the mushroom marmite eclair, an aubergine entree and wild boar tagliolini were highlights. The only slight miss for me was a "Sussex chorizo" but not to say it was bad. I've been spoilt by great chorizo in the US. As for drinks don't scoff the West Sussex Nutbourne sparkling wine, or any on the list. Ours was a light 10% ABV rose with cloudy bubbles perfect across the menu. Full bottle of English sparkling, 3 starters and 2 entrees to share for under £100 on Kings Road. What are you waiting for?

Wow. Just wow. Went for the Sunday roast menu- absolutely delish. The food came out out quickly and since we were sitting right next to the staging area, we saw the care that was out into making each plate. The food is wonderful, the philosophy ( sustainable food and giving to others)is appreciated!

First off, it shouldn't be a shock that a Michelin restaurant on the Kings Road is serving fantastic food, so read this review as mere assurance that you're in for a wonderful experience. We spent nearly 3 hours over lunch on Friday with the British Wild Food tasting menu...7 courses of the best farm to table British dishes in small plate form that you can find, anywhere. The mix of the expected and 'that shouldn't work, but wow, it sure does' will keep your taste buds impressed. Be prepared for things like marmite eclairs, raw trout in a ceivche like preparation, scallops served on top of chorizo oil, succulent venison and a simply outstanding set of puddings. Everything on the menu is locally sourced, including the ales, gins and whiskey, so be ready to try something outside of your normal. The staff is quite friendly, which makes up for the odd (and, at times, uncomfortable seating). You'll look past any deficiencies, though, when you realize the bill is far smaller than you expect, and the food is far better than your day.

The worst LYON'S HILL FARM BEEF SIRLOIN!

The worst dining experience! Avoid this restaurant! It took us one hour and 45 minutes to be reserved our Sunday Roast. When the Lyon Hill's Farm Beef Sirloin finally arrived it was so tough that it was impossible to cut, let alone eat! Avoid, avoid, avoid! So incredibly rare when you visit a well regarded (according to the other reviews) restaurant like this to experience bad service and bad food.

Really welcoming staff, good recommendations for wine. Had the catch of the day, which was a bristle. The Sussex reserve from Nutbourne Vineyards. The cheesecake with blueberries and a macchiato for dessert. Bread a little dry, but good butter.

Good, reasonably priced wine selection, including organic

Absolutely delicious food - foraged, hunted, gathered all well prepared to maximize the natural goodness of the ingredient. I could've eaten 4 rounds of the tiny appetizers for my main course, it was delicious. Small plates to be shared, all but a couple were excellent. The seared venison heart was special and the cod cheeks were especially delicious. Very nice and cozy inside, friendly, charming service and excellent organic house wine

Locally sourced. Absolutely exceptional!! Every dish exceeded expectations and the entire experience was most enjoyable. Highly recommend.

My favorite restaurant in London!!! Personally, when I dine, I enjoy ordering many items off the menu and sharing them family style. Rabbit allows you to do just that - it's a tapas style restaurant that offers small but shareable portions. It is recommended to order 2-3 plates per person. We ordered the collection of mouthfuls that were a set of 4 bite size hors d'oeuvres, my favorite of which was the mushroom eclair, followed by the Aged Chorizo, Labneh, Caraway Crisp Bread & Crispy Kale, Sweet Cured Mallard Duck Breast, Sussex Seeds, Citrus Onion Jam, Chickweed & Split Thyme Jus, Pan-Fried Goat's Cheese, Honey, Almonds & Thyme, Sussex Beef, Parsnip Puree, Scottish Girolles, Green Sauce, among a few others. Every dish was unique in its combination of flavors, textures and esthetic presentation. Cocktails were also masterfully crafted. Service was exceptional with a detailed review of the menu and recommendations. Prices were very reasonable given the high quality of the food. Look forward to coming back when I return to London!

Nice ambiance and staff but seasoning of food is not as on point as their sister restaurant The Shed. we shared the chorizo and labneh which is reslly good but the crackers were really salty The seafood lasagna: pretty but nothing special The sea bass: good The lamb: was fantastic a must order! Plus their special cocktail presented in a boot glass was really delicious. This is a nice place to go with friends

Simply exquisite. Friend and I came here for dinner. We had: Fresh tomato salad with ricotta Chorizo Fallow deer Sirloin steak Sole Caramel crab apple The staff catered to my dietary restrictions. Awesome! Thank you for such an amazing experience. Warning. Noise level can be quite high during the most popular times. Not the best place for quiet conversation.

Rabbit is a pretty cool place. We stumbled upon it whilst wandering around in Chelsea. The interior was cute and had a lot of fun little decorations. Seating was close together and the layout of the place is sort of like an L but they use the space really well. The menu is made so everyone can order multiple small dishes. I think the prices were pretty good considering the location and the quality of food they're putting out. Everything we ate was tasty, but certain dishes definitely stood out: mouthful- mushroom and marmite eclair-- this one sounded really weird but I wanted to try it. It turned out to be just heavenly! Somehow the flavours really worked together... I think I could taste more the truffle rather than the marmite. truffle cheese puffs- also heavenly. The filling is creamy and divine and a wonderful mix of truffle and cheese. pan fried goats cheese- The crunch of the honey walnuts and the sweetness complimented the cheese nicely. the ice cream dessert-- I can't figure out the exact name but it was essentially an ice cream slice with caramel and thin chocolate bits. It was so creamy and sweet. So good!

Excellent service by Rita. Had a lot of small courses which worked out well. Loved the scallops and burrata.

This was my first Michelin Star experience. I made a reservation for a Friday evening to catch up…read morewith friends while in London. The hostess provided coat check and we were seated. Our first waitress wasn't the warmest but the waiter toward the end of the night turned out to be American and we bonded over that lol. We were provided a complimentary appetizer which was not to any of our tastes. We were a bit too late to do the early dinner 3 course dining so we did a La carte. They seemingly just changed from the summer to fall early dining menu and that didn't quite pique my interest anyway. I had a fish dish but I unfortunately don't remember the name. It was good and appropriately filling. One friend had the open face oxtail lasagna which I tried and was delicious. We skipped dessert but it was one of my friend's birthdays and they gave her a card signed by the staff. We lingered a bit with our cocktails before deciding on the next spot. My friends got the margarita which they enjoys and I had a French 75 which was just ok. Overall I wasn't blown away. I've been to other Michelin rated (bin gourmand etc) which I feel had better food and service for the price point.

This place was extremely disappointing for a Michelin star restaurant. We came on a weekday evening…read moreand the restaurant was empty. We did the tasting of 6 dishes and everything was just too salty and the flavors did not blend on the dish. Almond soup: one of the better dishes and fairly refreshing Veal tartare- presentation was poorly executed and the peach had some dents on the side. Lobster ravioli- good on its own but way to salty with the lobster bisque which had a slightly burnt taste Fish: fish itself was fine but the babaganoush pairing was odd and the red sauce on top and zucchini were way over salted. Lamb- a little gamey and red pepper hummus that came with it was very salty and didn't pair well with the dish. Dessert- milk multiple ways was creative and basically ice cream with a wafer on top made of milk. Service was fine as the place was fairly empty. But maybe there's a reason why it was empty.
