Woke up this morning to a sheen of water across my basement floor. Sump pump failure!…read more Ran a list of local plumbers and found highly rated Embrich. Can't say enough about what a great experience I had with them. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable, empathetic and follow thru- they checked all the boxes and I am so appreciative that I found them. Woman I spoke to on the phone initially thought she could have someone out first thing tomorrow morning, but she must have sensed my panic haha and told me "they got me" and promised to find a way to get a truck out today. They followed thru-Cody and Jack arrived a couple hours later, diagnosed issue, presented three different solves at various price points and offered guidance on plus/ minus of each. We selected an option, and they installed by mid-afternoon, and taking the time to walk me thru the fix, how the new equipment works and what to watch for if future issues occur. Well done Embrich!

A hvac service representative was sent out named Joe, he looked at the ac and it was frozen solid. If I recall correctly it was one of our first 100 degree days and no a/c. Moments later my husband came home and had to be rushed to the hospital for an emergency surgery. I was never told clearly if I would have a resolution for the a/c bc in my brief encounter with Joe, he said he could not effectively resolve the a/c issue. I had to leave to take my husband to the hospital. So no action was taken or we did not use this company because I had a sick family member and could not be present at home because all of my time was needed at the hospital and my young child. We paid the bill full and clear. Even signed up for a monthly membership. Fast forward to today, I have a huge leak in my primary shower, I called to have a team member come out and take a look. They told me that would not be servicing my home because I was rude to Joe. I was NEVER was rude, I may have been panicking but was never rude. I had a family emergency that had to be dealt with. I Did not have time to talk about all 3 of my ac units and wait for another more seasoned team member to come out to detect the problem and resolve the situation. I was texted by the owner for a follow up that day, but as mentioned, I was right smack in the middle of a family emergency that took precedence over anything else. No further contact was made to me. I was just cut off my membership with no notice and the customer care manager told me that they were no longer willing to service my home because Joe thought I was rude. Wow. Just wow. Every other team member (I have had 3-4 embrich contractors come to the house with a great experience, turns out one bad apple will spoil the bunch. Hate to give a bad review but what an embarrassing and humiliating experience. With embrich, expect to be judged and unfairly treated with no human empathy or care. I guess there is no team in membership. Very disappointing and very unfortunate. Talk about rude.

He took a picture of the hole in the ceiling then a picture of the toilet upstairs. He told my husband it would be $360 to remove the toilet to see what was wrong. My husband specifically asked ok so if you remove the toilet do nothing and put it back it will be $360. Thomas said yes. He said if he had to replace the flange it would be a little over $900. My husband asked him to leave. The "service" call included no service. He only took 2 pictures and did nothing else. The service call was $70. So we basically paid for him to ring the door bell and take pictures. No diagnostics done. I called the company and the manager called me and said he wanted a mutual resolution. He offered nothing but an explanation of how much his truck cost and his overhead which is why we had to pay the "service" fee even though they did absolutely nothing but take pictures. He must have "explained" his overhead to me 5 times and thought what his plumber did was acceptable. Called a different plumber. He came out and fixed the problem in 30 minutes for $175 all included. Under no circumstances would I use this company. They are not honest and definitely over charge. BEWARE

Always professional, clearly communicating schedule and price estimate, and quality work. Post-Covid, when it was really hard to find repairmen at all, I mentioned to Jeff my frustration at not being able to find an electrician to replace all the baseboard heaters in the house (one of them already broken, the rest just old). He said, "I can do that!" He measured the existing heaters, showed me some options for replacements, and ordered what we picked from a Canadian company. The ordering and delivery proved difficult (we were still seeing lots of supply chain and transportation issues all over the country) and Jeff stayed on top of the whole process, keeping us informed of delays, working out issues with the shipper. When the heaters finally arrived, Jeff and his team installed them in a morning, and hauled the old ones away. As usual, the work itself was expert. Billing for the work was exactly per the estimate. I really appreciate Edwardsville Plumbing's professionalism, ability to do work promptly and neatly, and jump in and go way beyond my expectations. Highly recommended!

Now, if anyone ask me for a plumber recommendation, I will be giving the same answer, Inspector Plumber. When I went to turn the controls for my outdoor faucet on, it started to leak. So, I immediately turned it back off and started my search for the plumber. Once I decided to use, Inspector Plumber, I gave them a call. The receptionist /dispatcher was extremely professional and friendly. I believe her name was Courtney. She asked questions to help her understand my needs and situation. As we chatted, I told her my availability. Once she had all the information she needed, she asked me to hold for a moment. To my surprise, when she came back to the phone, she told me that she had someone available as soon as they finished their lunch break. WOW! that was quick service. I was use to big city waits, so this impressed me. I had a team of two arrive, the lead was Chase. I showed them my plumbing issue, they evaluated and provided me with an estimate. Chase also, pointed out something else that should be addressed. While some of you would say that was an up sale, I say it's good customer service. It was an update that I knew needed to be done in a 60 year old home. He gave me two bids, one for what I called about and one including the update to my main waterline faucet. Both estimates were very reasonable, especially with my 5% discount for being a senior. After seeing what they needed to fix my issues, they excused themselves to run to the local plumber supply store to buy supplies. Once they returned, working as a team, they had everything completed in under 2 1/2 hours. After working, they cleaned up and left my home as it was when they arrived. I liked that they documented their work with photos attached to my invoice. If I need a plumber in the future, I'll be calling Inspector Plumber again. I've added them to my contacts in my smart phone to make life easier. Also, if anyone ask me for a plumber recommendation, I can easily send it to them.
