My buddy a cheeseburger special & me a antipasto salad. The burger was done perfectly and my friend was delighted. My antipasto was EXCELLENT.....tons of meat, cheese, egg and a wide variety of vegetables. The salad was plated properly and was one of the most delicious I've had in years. My understanding is that the owner has many irons in the fire. My experience would suggest that he has perhaps too many irons, as there appears to be no one there to ensure that standards are upheld to enable consistent quality. I arrived highly anticipating another great dining experience, and left hungry and severely disappointed. So, next year when I go fishing and go there for lunch or dinner if I see Lori in the kitchen I will stay and eat, but if there's anyone else I'll leave and get a sandwich at the Bayside convenience store.
