We ended up going through Whole Wood in San Carlos for our hardwood and we worked with Rolando Lopez at Pure Wood Flooring to complete the project. They were amazing! No joke, we got more done in one day with them than three weeks with the Floor Store. Stay far away from the Floor Store unless you want overpriced material and slow, ineffective communication.

I was told I would receive a refund for the price difference. It has now been several months and despite multiple follow-ups, I have still not received the refund I am owed. This reflects very poorly on the company's customer service and reliability. While the product selection is good, it is extremely disappointing that Da Vinci Marble has not taken care of a straightforward refund in a timely manner. I hope they address this issue and improve their responsiveness to customers moving forward.

We went yesterday before they closed at 5, and they were great at offering a one on one assistance--Anthony came out and walked us through our options, specifically were were looking for tiles for outdoor covered patio, shower floors, and bathroom, as well as kitchen and backsplash. What my husband and I really loved about Anthony was the absolute efficiency, e.g. we'd show him a tile and immediately he'd tell us whether it would work for that application or not. He just knew that information off the top off his head, and didn't make shit up, as we'd encountered in other shops. We're going to end up doing a custom job of ombre with an online software tool from Oceanside. Anthony turned us onto Sicis as well, but there's no online tool I could decipher, so bummer. The prices are on par with other places of this ilk, and parking is easy especially because it's not located in the middle of a city, and street parking we got immediately.

His crew showed up on time, put down clothes to protect the floor, disconnected the old stove top, measured and removed the necessary granite with mimimal dust, cleaned up and checked that the new stop top would fit. They were neat and knew what they needed to do. My wife and I were pleased with their work. It was difficult finding a stone cutter that would take on such a small job and the Counter Top store came through for us.

He patiently answered all our questions. He encouraged us to bring cabinet and stone samples home and to think about it before making any decisions. He understood how important and also stressful it got making renovation decisions, so he always responded to our inquiries promptly. Once we picked out the cabinet and countertop, Neil took care of the ordering and delivery. We received our custom made cabinets in two weeks, and we're very happy with the quality and the affordable price. Neil also recommended a company to cut and install the quartz countertop for our cabinets. These guys did an excellent job too. We felt lucky to find this store and grateful for Neil's excellent customer service. He had earned our trust and confidence. Last year we bought hardwood floor from them for our Kitchen--A couple of weeks ago an Appliance Repair Guy scratched our floor and I wanted to see if we could repair the floor instead of changing the whole thing--I called Carlos there and he was very nice and said our floor was discontinued but he had a couple of boxes that we could come get them--He said that since our floor was a year old the boards might not match if that was the case he would return them for us--We went to the store and they loaded the boxes in my car. The boxes were very old and not in good shape and were slightly opened on the ends of the boxes--We unloaded them and waited for the contractor--When the contractor arrived of course he pulled one board out of each box to make sure there were no stains on the Maple Wood--Once they pulled these couple boards out it was discovered that they were severely damaged and the color of these the boards in these boxes were different than what I have on my floor--I immediately texted Carlos and he texted me to bring the 2 boxes back for a full refund--I still have the text message on my phone---He was very nice and said no problem. When I arrived at the store, the employee at the Counter was extremely rude and immediately started talking down to me as if I was a student in her classroom--I nicely explained the issue and showed her the text message from Carlos and she started talking to me down again and said well I am not taking them back! I was flabbergasted! I have never seen any retailer act like this! Home Depot, Lowe's, etc would never act like this--She brought our her Manager Quinn and she told him to back her up even though she was wrong and of course, that is exactly what he did---They made no attempt to resolve this or make me feel good as a customer who put my trust in them as a customer---Didn't even offer a store credit--Just kept lecturing me how he would lose money!!! Especially after I had spent thousands of dollars with them last year! On top of it! They kept the Merchandise and made no attempt to give it back to us before we left the store!! Now, it will have to go to the Credit Card as a dispute but can you guys believe all this for a lousy $300?? How petty they were/are! I will never go back to these guys and I wanted to give all of you a heads-up!

Conveniently off 101 and efficient to shop here, which we are thankful for as remodeling is usually time-intensive.
