The first time was a standard oil change, the second time was getting a full set of new tires with an alignment and balancing and they repaired a broken tire pressure sensor. The alignment was done properly for the first time, probably ever in my 11 year old car, according to the tech. It was so rusted stuck that had to use a torch to heat everything up so it would release. And I just took it to a Toyota dealership less than 1 year ago for an alignment. When I told the staff this they said it looked like it had never been touched. So it seems to me that everyone else (Toyota and firestone) besides Overbeck wanted to stay on schedule, not getting behind, and just did the bare minimum. And let me tell you what- my car drives like it's new again. The third time was 2 days after my tire pressure sensor was replaced- I took it back in to have it looked at becuase the low tire pressure light came back on. They told me the one they replaced was only intermittently working and was therefore defective. So they replaced it for free and sent me on my way. The best part about this? They have a line that they text confirm your appointment, send quotes to, etc. I send a text to this number around 10pm on a Wednesday to try to secure an appointment early the next day. To my surprise, someone wrote back and told me to bring it right in in the morning, no appointment necessary. When I got there, they said "we're dropping everything to get you on your way", And even offered me a loaner car for the day, knowing I had to get to work. I declined because I had the capability to work in their cozy lobby on their wifi network. I feel like I'm truly treated like family here, they even greeted me by name today (which I find impressive since I've only been here three times). I'm so so satisfied. I just happened to come across this place because I got a coupon in the mail for an oil change. I'm so glad I decided to bring my car here. They want to make sure they're doing the best work possible and making sure they have happy clients.

I took my car to this business a few weeks ago due to issues that I believed to be in the…read moretransmission. Frank (owner I believe) was very direct and after a test ride and a quick inspection of my car advised that he did not believe the car issue was due to a transmission issue. He advised that he saw broken motor mounts on the right side and felt those needed to be replaced. I took the advise and replaced the mounts on the right side. Once done, he took the car back out for a test ride and advised the issue still persisted. He advised the motor mounts on the left side were very used and recommended to replace those to check if the issue still persisted. Authorized and replacement took place. That still did not fix the main issue I had but I knew that the car was in much better shape than it was when I brought the car in. He suggested that both trans-axles we very used and one was leaking liquid (something he advised on the initial inspection. I authorized the replacement along with the center bearing support and the car ran like new. They did a great job and did not rush to replace every part needed immediately. They worked through the issue one piece at a time and got the car working perfectly again. I will be using them again if in the future, any additional service is needed. However, Ridge Transmissions made me feel comfortable and was a wonderful place to get service. They explained everything that was wrong with my car in terms I could understand. I never felt like they were trying to gouge me or take advantage. They went above and beyond and even attempted to fix my car remote though I hadn't specifically asked for it. They also got my car back to me a full day before they promised, a huge help since I was paying for a rental. The pricing was very fair and the transmission service came with a 3 year warranty. When I went to this Aamco, Bill, the owner requested to take the car for a drive to see if he could diagnose the noise it was making. The customer service given my him was fantastic. Bill and the mechanics were able to identify that the part causing the leak in my transmission was small. All in all he got the par ordered from the manufacturer and fixed everything for less than $200. My only complaint is that this Aamco only works on transmissions lol!! I mean they are a transmission business but based on their customer service and pricing, I wish I could take my car hear for all its needs.

Last year I had to have my transmission rebuilt on my 2004 Lincoln Navigator after 185,000 miles…read more My mechanic Tom at Jacobs Auto Service recommended Jerry's if I wanted to make sure it was done right and to have someone stand behind their work. While they were in there they advised that 3 of 4 CV joints also needed to be replaced and bearings replaced so I had that taken care of because we were heading to FL once again. Well after about 8 months I put the transmission in reverse and "pow" the vehicle lurched and came to a stop. Problem was the left rear CV joint failed. I had it towed to Jerry's and they advised that the supplier replaced the cost of the CV and they would be obtaining another one from another supplier in another day. The next day Wayne called to say come pick up your vehicle it is all done. "Done under our one year warranty." Well, needless to say I could not be happier with the guys at Jerry's. If you you need transmission, transfer case, axle work I cannot recommend anyone better than Jerry's for fair price, efficient, timely and a firm that stands behind their warranty.
