Waited 40 minutes for some basic bento box food and still didn't get it. Asked for a refund and the girls are the counter were whatevs about it. Still charged me for the mediocre drinks. I would avoid. In response to the business' reply: "Avoid peak hours"? Very nice spot to study and get work done until school was out. Once school was out it was flooded with highschool kids yelling and playing games. There were clearly others here trying to get work done but I noticed that they constantly kept glancing at them (the kids) since they were so loud and yelling playing their game. Even with my noise cancelling AirPods at max volume, I could still hear them from across the room. Id save my (and your) ears and take your chances elsewhere if you're trying to have a productive session. Overall a decent place to get work done when it's NOT after school hours. My sister's company ordered a couple of drinks and snacks. They got the order wrong and the drinks were very light and mediocre. I can't say it was horrible, but it was very bland. We were excited to come here since they're newly opened with a lot of good reviews. However, I have mixed feelings. We ordered Popcorn Chicken and Sweet Potato Fries, both of which were delicious. The chicken had a breading I've never had before, and the fries were of good portion and tasty. Even without powdered sugar, they were yummy. Now, onto the drinks. The drinks we ordered were the Peach Oolong Milk Tea. On my first sip I tasted something like a cleaning agent/chemical. I ordered 100% sweetness but it tasted bland and watered down. I've had oolong milk tea from other places and they never tasted like someone had spiked it with Windex. Customer service also needs improvement. The mango pomelo sago is the worst we ever had, not sure if it is because they added yogurt but it tasted slightly sour(like plain yogurt) at many sips. The taro sago was slightly better but the bottom portion of the drink is hot (where the taro paste and sago is), so once you stir this ice drink, it becomes lukewarm... who would want a lukewarm drink ...service was extremely slow even though not many people. Cool new boba spot that opened in Walnut recently. The seating area is huge, comparable to Tenren's, making it a great place if you want to lounge or work. The drinks themselves are decent, but the boba can use a huge upgrade. It also takes a while to get your drink but that's not a big issue if you plan to dine in. I ordered all 100% sugar and they were just all right and if you want a sweeter drink I suggest you do not adjust or else it would be bland for you. I like mine though cuz in some teashops the 100% is too sweet for me. The taro sago had abundant toppings and the matcha tea is similar to porto's which is good! Assam bt is your regular assam BT and the mango pomelo is a bit sour which is probably from real fruits. I suggest to maybe add more sugar if you are used to other areas. This is a cute hidden gem ideal for studying or doing some work! They had a BOGO 50% off promo on all drinks everyday from 5-7pm and we like that they offered snacks on their menu. But the popcorn chicken wasn't what we were expecting..we'd give it a 2.5/5. It honestly tasted frozen and the flavoring was not the traditional seasoning at other Taiwanese boba shops.
