I went here three times. The first time I went Vivi did my nails and she was very nice and took her time. The next time I went asking for Vivi again but she was busy so I was with someone else. They did my gel polish so thick and sloppy. I didn't say anything to her but when I came home I had to file off my nail polish. i used to get my nails done here all the time before covid and they always did such a great job. i went back recently and the employees were nice which is why im giving at least two stars however my nail application looks awful a few days later and my toe nail polish is already chipped off!! i got them done two days ago!! $120 later and my toes are chipped, and acrylic nails looks so chunky and sloppy. i unfortunately will not be returning to QV... i used to be a regular... i dont know what changed since Covid but they really fell down. read more

The girls were very nice and helped me get the exact shade of pink that I wanted. I left the salon so happy I found a new place to start going to. Unfortunately just hours after leaving my mani started chipping and so did my sister's. It's unfortunate that the quality of the nail polish and top coat is below standard. I LOVE this place! I have been getting my nails done for nearly 20 years all over Simi. Since I'm a nervous nail biter, usually by week 1, my gel dip manicure would look awful. I'd have to go back every other week to get both my fingers and toes done since I'd chip em as well. But not at QV Nails! My nail designs last 3 weeks, sometimes longer. I see a lot of people's complaints are how costly this place is. While it's true, I never paid $50 before for a dip and pedicure it's also true that my nails have never been healthier and the designs never lasted as long as they do now. Lynn uses less chemicals on my nails, so my nails aren't paper thin anymore. Speaking of designs, unlike other nail places I went to, Lynn loves a challenge! If you see nail designs on Social media just send them to Lynn and she will learn and then do them amazingly! I am game for anything and I'm always excited when I come in because I never know what design I'll get. I get so many compliments on my nails! Halloween glow in the dark nails with spooky designs or cat eye pedicure using cool magnetic polish, it's always an adventure. I have never had to wait either. I make my appointment ahead a time, walk in and everything is setup for me. Teressa, who does my pedicures always does an awesome job and even if the nail polish bubbles, she will do it again because she wants to make sure it is perfect. I feel like I get VIP status every time I go to get my nails done! So if you are willing to pay more for beautiful, long-lasting, high quality designed nails, I highly recommend coming here! read more

Let me just start off by saying my soul officially belongs to Quincy, Kim, and Viví. They're the three sisters who own this place, and made me feel like an absolute princess. I love women owned businesses, and between being there just yesterday, I've told everyone I know to come here. I had been out and about since 9 am and I was so tired, but I needed a pedicure. I stopped into another place and the man barely looked up at me when I told him what I needed and told me "not now, come back 5:15" I called in and Quincy said to come on in; I walked in and Quincy herself walked me to a chair and sat me down. It was an absolutely wonderful reception after being on my feet all day. THEY PUT LEMON SLICES IN THEIR PEDICURE WATER. ABSOLUTE LUXURY. Kim is an absolute sweetheart and my toes have never looked cuter because of her! Vivi, I can't say enough about her! In my ten years of getting my nails done, I have never experienced more pristine work. I have paid a lot more than I did with QV for a full set, and the quality was a lot worse. Viví is truly a master and it shows within the structural integrity of my nails, the cuticle work, and overall design! Between dealing with my indecisiveness over a color, all three ladies did not fluster once and swatched away as if this truly was the most important decision of my life. Also, the color selection is absolutely incredible; a lot of nail salons lack in their selection of pink, but this one doesn't. This is a huge deal to me. Not to mention for all colors, they keep corresponding gels and dip powders together so you can always have your dream color in the service of your choosing! I cannot gush enough about the service or the salon, and the work is absolutely incredible. I have been to every single salon in Simi Valley, and I have finally found the one that truly has earned my undying loyalty. I am a hand model, and my life is my hands. BEWARE!! If I could give 0 stars I would! My first mistake was have my bf call and schedule me an app while I was getting ready because when I arrived and they looked at my nails (I'm a tomboy and bite my nails a bit not down to the nub or anything but they are shorter than avg) the owner immediately called over a GENTLEMAN to do my nails and all the women stepped outside to smoke cigarettes. My hands were so sweaty because I did not feel comfortable AT ALL. You don't expect to go to the salon and get your nails done by a GUY! I'm timid and quiet so I'm not the type to complain. I rather never give them my business again and let you all know that if you aren't a regular you shouldn't go here. I felt like I was taken advantage of and I'm sure once you see what I paid $50 for you will agree too. I find it disgusting that they took a beautiful moment from me and made it ugly. I'm studying mechanical engineering and work on my car often so I don't have the opportunity to do my nails and work comfortably and I'm SO disappointed that I did and I was willing to pay anything for quality work but got ripped off crooked, almond shaped nails instead of the pointy cat like nails I wanted for my cat woman costume. I just moved to Simi Valley and I've been looking for a new salon I can go too and trust what they're doing. I came in this late afternoon and they welcomed me with a big smile and took me right away. I wasn't sure what I wanted but vivi gave me options and I ended up going with the ombré. I've never done ombré before and she blew it out of the park! She did an absolutely amazing job and even suggested some designs on a couple of the nails I would've never gotten. I asked if she was sure and she said she could take us! I wasn't expecting the absolute best service since we went so late but she did SO AMAZING.
