Looking for some fabric, wanted to shop small business. Walked in three workers no greeting. No ask me if I needed help. I finally went up to one of the workers who is watering plants and asked her, but she seemed irritated that I was bothering her. Walked around to the other side the other two were having a customer, but the customer was looking at fabric or the other two were talking and no one to bother to even say hi did you need something so not a great experience what a shame read more

I have a long way to go before I upgrade to a different version but feel confident in the purchase and know I received a great price. I don't live close to a fabric store where I am in town, but this was the closest to my work (that isn't a big box store, I like to shop local when I can!) I go after work and the aura of the store is just pure happiness, bright, organized, and the employees were very kind and happy. Even the customers were all happy to be in there I loved it. There was even a cute friendly dog (Shout out to Penny) I got my fabrics and brought them over to Cheyenne! Very friendly and kind, I also had some questions and Cheyenne was happy to help me and show me examples. I'm so glad I went out of the way for this shoppe, I'll absolutely be coming back! read more

Quiltique is the shop of my dreams! They have the most organized and well merchandised quilt store in the nation. They are selling everything from machines to cocktail recipe books, in case you get thirsty while sewing. The staff and owner are patient, kind well informed crafters. They carry all of the best fabrics from Free Spirit designers Kaffe and more. They even have some new Bernina sewing machines to match! I can't wait to take a class here this summer when things really heat up in the coolest place in town. read more

I'll go to Joanne's next time I need fabric. I stopped in here because my son was getting a haircut a couple doors down and I needed some simple fat quarters for a project. The lady near the front register was cutting fabric for another customer, and another employee at a different counter wasn't helping anyone, so I got in line behind the people getting fabric cut near the register. The employee clearly saw me standing there waiting near the register for at least 10 minutes, so it was pretty obvious that I was hoping to check out with my precut fabric. After the employee checked out her current customer, she looked at me and told me if I needed help that I should have stood in a differed section of the store, where a small line had now formed. However, when I started waiting, there was absolutely no one else needing help. Long story short, she clearly saw me standing there and could have easily said, "If you need help, the line forms over there." They do have a nice selection of overpriced fabric, but I should have just gone to Joanne's. read more

Some time ago, I took a class at Quiltique. It was a class on how to use a long arm quilt machine. The class was around 5 - 6 hours long, with a lunch break. There was very little in the way of forma instruction in that class. Much of the discussion was about fabric choice, how to attach fabric to the long arm and other long-winded topics. Each person got about 20 minutes of actual time on the long arm machine. It seemed to me that everyone associated with the store was the "in group." The person who taught the class spoke at length to the other 2 persons in the class about out of state personal trips that all 3 of them had made to Utah. As I waked around the store, no one spoke to me or asked if I needed help. A doorway was open to another class, and I walked in that class to see what being taught. The instructor told me to leave the room immediately as I had not paid to participate in that class. I never intended to stay in that class, I was on the lunch break from the class I did pay to attend. I was only curious to see what the other class was about. I did not intend to steal ideas or information. I am a long-time quilter and I enjoy taking classes to perfect my craft. During my time at this store, I felt like an unwelcome outsider. On the plus side, the fabric selection was fantastic, the store was laid out very well, and the prices were fair for the high quality of beautiful fabrics. It would be a great place to shop for fabric if I knew exactly what I wanted and did not require any help. read more

I took my Bernina B780 to Quiltique and got it repaired in 2 days after waiting 6 months for Sew Yeah to complete the repair. Quiltique had to fix the "repairs" that Sew Yeah had done. The service technician replaced 4 parts that they had in stock and stated Sew Yeah had installed the other parts incorrectly and had broken again. 2 of the parts that Quiltique replaced were still under warranty. It's a long drive from my home, but well worth it. read more

I had wanted to go to a quilt shop that could explain & demonstrate different machines & I found it here. Bob was super helpful with the sewing machines. He was polite & very knowledgeable. This was the largest quilt shop I have ever been in. So many quilts, patterns & oodles of material. They have a classroom at the back that looked very intriguing!! Is there a decent quilt shop in Las Vegas? Apparently not, as not one employee here gets it when it comes to warm, genuine customer service. Or any help, for that matter. If you're not an old white lady wearing khaki capris and junk fad jewelry from El Paso, TX...don't expect to be acknowledged in this store. I was walked by multiple times by staff who never once asked if I needed help, all the while they're falling all over themselves to start conversations with the older grandmas that were scattered throughout the store. I'm a quilter. I've been a quilter for 20 years. Just because I don't fit the stereotypical mold, I'm often ignored while shopping in these stores. I've stopped by Quiltique a few times over the years, when I lived locally and when I'm in town now for work, but the subpar experience is always the same. Quilt shops are equal part fabric and the shopping experience. Quiltique has fabric, but it definitely lacks any warm, genuine service that is inclusive of all quilters. Will be happy to take my hard earned money elsewhere. Will pay the shipping and wait for an Etsy fabric order before I shop here again. Rudeness is a turnoff, and won't be back here. read more

I love Quiltique. I'm from Southern California and the few times a year I go to Henderson, Quiltique is always my first visit. The fabrics are curated perfectly. You have a range for the older set, as well as, the novice and young sewists. They carry a vast variety of lines. The staff are knowledgeable and most, if not all, sew themselves. Having quilters work in the store is probably the biggest advantage this store has among its local competitors. The staff can share in your love of sewing and help problem solve. I also appreciate they carry a large variety of quilt kits, if you're interested in a quick project. And their sale section is huge. In CA, we no longer have many quilt stores so I truly value the opportunity to shop at a local quilt store. Seeing the fabrics in person and walking through all the new products is the best! read more

The hours on the Yelp page are incorrect. I just drove over an hour to get here and they have summer hours posted on their door, which is super helpful to everyone who checks Yelp or other places online for their hours and their haven't updated them. Says they are, as of May 1, open only until 3PM Tuesday-Saturday. I love the store, would be nice if they had been more professional about updating their hours so I didn't spend all this time coming here for nothing. read more

I have had to have several of my sewing machine is fixed and they do a fabulous job and they are very quick and accommodating. Outstanding selection of beautiful fabrics. What I really love is the fact that they can pull up my profile and see everything that I have purchased or what machines I have had repaired. We were in town briefly for a concert and the only other thing we did was get fabric lol. We only visited the fabric side of the shop to get fabric for a quilt that's being made for us. The Nor Cal town we live in only has box stores and we wanted something unique. Every employee we interacted with was so helpful and friendly. We found what we needed and then some! Great Quilt Shoppe with an amazing staff. Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I spent the majority of my time with Chris. I live out of town so I am adopting her as my personal shopper. Haha! They have lots of super cute pattens and kits along with a good selection of different fabrics and colors. They even have plaids. First made it here after my husband surprised me with a serger. I had to come in to learn how to use the machine. They offered classes and so for a few weeks, I learned the techniques of serging and just what to do with my serger. It was great fun! But, they not only sell machines, offer classes in how to use the machines, they offer fabrics, quilting supplies, fat quarters, quilting kits, jelly rolls, etc. They have grown since then, doubled in size and offer so many fabric choices. The name brand quilting fabrics and notions. They also offer quilting classes, have a monthly newsletter called 'the stash' and have now started a blog page! I have dived back into quilting and have made the drive to Henderson to pick up some fat quarters and some yardage for various projects I am working on. As much as I appreciate having a national craft store in the city, I wasn't exactly in love with fabric they have on hand, which is how my search began for something more local. I definitely didn't want to order fabric online, then wait another 2-3 weeks for arrival. Before Nevada entered Phase 2 of reopening, their procedure was preparing online or phone orders for curbside pickup or shipping. Brownie points right there. I think they might still be doing that too. Anyway, I get a call from one of their reps stating my order would be ready for pickup the following day, and... I could actually go in for shopping. Yay! Before walking in, there's already a sign stating their guidelines to serve customers (e.g., everyone must wear a mask). Then, there's already a rep at the door, ready to spray customers' hands with sanitizer. I was ecstatic and relieved all at once for their consideration during this pandemic. Know what else I was...? Completely overwhelmed with the amazing variety of fabric! I could find fabric to suit any theme I could think of, and themes I never even considered. Know how other stores sell scraps of fabric? They do that here too, in fat quarters and it's well-organized! A neat freak's dream come true. The class area was cool too, with the the big brands of machines they had. Customer service did not disappoint either. The reps might've seen me quizzical at some points, so they didn't hesitate to ask if I needed help looking for items. It was really nice hearing more personalized/friendly chats between the reps cutting fabric and customers - guess a lot of them are regulars. read more

This place is easy to miss driving down Stephanie, but don't be fooled. It's pretty big on the inside. Whether you're a quilter or a sewer, you're sure to find something here. When you walk in, you're instantly greeted by the people who word there, and the many fabrics. On the other side they have their machines. Sewing, quilting, and embroidery machines. These machines are beautiful, and also beautifully priced. If I could afford one, I would totally invest in one of those. Within the shop there's a wide variety of fabrics. Whatever you need: a certain color, or pattern, or holiday, I'm sure you'll be able to find it here. Cotton fabrics are what I need, so this place is perfect. I always leave with more than what I came in for. Accessories, accessories, they have plenty! And patterns of fun stuff you can make. As well as classes offered throughout the month for different things. In the age of COVID, social distance in businesses is a must. There is plenty of space to do so here, and the store is very clean. If you're not comfortable shopping in store, you can order online and they call you when your order is ready. Give this place a try. From the great customer service, to the selection of fabrics and machines, you won't be disappointed! And you'll support a local business! read more

The customer service was not very warm and mostly condescending if they even acknowledged me at all. I really wanted to like this place and take fabric home on my vacation. But I chose not to. I have been quilting since 2005 and consider myself an advanced quilter. I enjoy visiting shops around the country and finding unique fabric. And although their fabric lines are very nice and the shop overall has a decent fabric selection, I just refuse to spend anymore time or money in shops like this. Plus I found it very gross that they over glorify Tula Pink. Big turn off. I'd rather pay shipping and buy online. Won't be back!! read more

Worse customer service ever. It's hard to tell customers from employees. I bought my machine in late April. Took the 6 week class and didn't learn hardly anything. Had to take my machine back because a light broke off and I got asked if I hit it. Instructor was the worse I've ever had. read more

This is a beautiful store with a huge selection of high quality fabrics. I have only received lovey service here. My young niece and I went in a few years ago when she was battling ovarian cancer. We selected fabrics for a quilt I was making her for her chemotherapy sessions. A few days later I received a lovely card in the mail thanking us for coming in and wishing my niece well in her cancer journey. The card was extremely thoughtful and I appreciated it so much. (Niece is doing great now by the way!) Yesterday I went in and met Lynn, she helped me order a new machine and I really appreciated her friendliness, her expertise, and the time she took with me to explain different features and items that did or did not come with different machines. I will say I have not always been greeted by a staff member when I first walk in, but I know the store is shorthanded due to Covid and I have always received great service once I've made it known that I would like some help. Quiltique is a great small business and I really appreciate their selection and I feel lucky to have such a great quilt shop close by! read more

Great selection, probably the best place in Vegas or Henderson for sewing classes, huge selection of fabrics, and of corse Bernina dealer (the best sewing machines)! I couldn't give 5 stars though after several instances where I felt they where pinching pennies with me. Made me upset considering I bought such an expensive sewing machine from them and purchased a good number of items there- but this place while they run deals they are never generous beyond what's required. Once I missed a class by mistake, when I had enrolled in 5 classes at once added them into my phone calendar and one of them I accidentally placed on the wrong month- you'd think they be understanding about it because I showed up bright and early for class on the wrong day- had gotten a baby sitter and everything I showed them my phone and explained- it took me talking to a manager and being upset at it in order for them to even credit me this class back. I also got coupons for my birthday in the mail when I brought it in to use it I read carefully there was three coupons only one said it had to be used on the month of my birthday the other two didn't, most places would just let you use it anyway but okay whatever they said no to not only using that one but also the other two a month later. Makes me regret buying my machine here even though I love many things about this store I just feel like if I buy $6,500 machine from you and then you can't even honor a coupon without an expiration date,... that makes me feel stupid for going here. read more
