My son takes the car for an oil change and they didn't put the filter and plug in right, by the time he gets home it was dark got up in the morning to leave and all the oil is down the road and in-front of my house. You could literally tell the path my son drove. They come to us and fix it and give us a free oil change. I told my son not to use them, but of course kids don't listen. He takes it back. They break the cap on the coolant. The spin part on top so now you can't get it open and they proceed to tell him to take it to AutoZone to get the piece out and buy a new cap that they can't use a tool to get it out because then they would be liable. But they're not liable for breaking it!!!! read more

I went to take 5 to get my oil changed well over three weeks ago. Instead of changing my oil they drained the transmission fluid out of my engine. This was an unprofessional and unexpected experience. I could not recommend ANY take 5 less. I have been in contact with their "legal team" for about 3 weeks after they towed my car to the dealership without giving me a rental car. They said once the work gets approved we will refund your money. That was three weeks ago I now have thousands of dollars on my credit card with no pay back in sight. Please consider going anywhere else to get your oil changed. The way this business has handled this situation is unacceptable go at your own risk. read more

An oil change is not a tough thing to find or do We didn't have a coupon so it was expensive and then when I was on our road trip the maintenance light came on.... As it turns out it was probably always on as this place forgot to reset... we know nothing about cars so this simple, overlooked item by an employee here cost us an appt at mechanic to verify that's what happened. Our car is 11 years old and we have a little kid so we don't take chances Point being.. every other corner has an oil change place... this was a simple error that shouldn't happen and I don't think ever has... we will not be going back to this one due to our experience...but mistakes happen... read more

My husband and I were across the street shopping when we noticed that our back tire was going flat. When we arrived at the Quikstop it was almost to the rim. I like Quikstop. I used to feel like I was getting ripped off by the 10-minute oil places, but after being a faithful Quikstop customer for 2 years now, I want to share the benefits of this location: 1. It's close to home. (Location!) 2. I get email reminders to get my oil changed before I hit 3K miles. (I can get distracted sometimes with other things...life, for example...) 3. Emails come with a coupon. 4. There's often specials that you can print out online that are helpful with cost. 5. Their air filters are about the same price as auto stores, and they'll install them for you. (at least for my models, it's cheaper) Often the 10-minutes places are known for dishonesty, skipping the oil in the oil changes, bringing out dirty air filters that didn't even come from your car, leaving oil filters on. I checked Quikstop, they change the filter, they do the oil...they actually take the filter from your car. I know, it sounds crazy to say these things, but I've had some botched oil changes in the past. What I'm saying: they're trustworthy at this location from what I've seen. They will try to sell you a filter. They will try to sell you a service of some sort. Some of them are useful, some not...you be the judge. The sales people will not be pushy, though...they're not going to talk down to you at this location. Wait time: I've waited as long as 30 mins, but never longer. I've been in and out in about 15 at the shortest. Most cars only need a change every 5K miles now, but I'm kind of old-school and go with every 3 months. Ok, TMI, I digress. This place is legit. 4-stars: I knocked a star off because there's not good, accessible wi-fi in waiting area. There's closed-circuit television that is riddled with advertisements, and it's hard to ignore it (volume). But waiting area is clean. read more

My "ten minute oil change" is currently at 40 minutes and counting. The first guy who greeted me was really nice and was the only thing that kept this from 1 star. Update: after I left I realized they took my floor cover out and when they put it back they covered my brake pedal. I found this out as I got half way through an intersection. Free top off of fluids. You have to ask them to check the anti-freeze. I remember when that was part of the service and they would tell you how cold the temperature could get and your engine would still start. They will tell you all about every filter now and about the different oils. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. read more

Quickstop isn't a bad place for those that have a little patience with a lower level of customer service (service with a smile) and a somewhat reasonable sense of awareness about what their vehicle needs and doesn't need. I was very happy that I went and was able to achieve my objectives - a fairly quick oil change. That said, I want necessarily greeted with a warm reception and I had to solicit a response on how to proceed into the service station after waiting several minutes with a couple guys standing around. In addition, they "recommended" a lot of various products and services after my oil change was done despite my working knowledge that many of the services weren't schedules to be done due to being recently completed. That said, had I not known that, the "sales pitch" might have convinced me that I did need something I actually didn't. They make their recommendations in a room full of other customers as well, which for some reason, feels a little awkward - maybe it's their way of applying social pressure or something. It may sound like I'm complaining, but I'm really not- I will be a return customer. I just want to give folks the heads up before they go in for service. read more

I may be a blonde woman but I know the difference between drivers side and passenger side!!!!!!!!!! I needed a headlight replaced on the passenger side. I literally watched these guys try to get to the area in my Honda Accord on the passenger side using screwdrivers, etc. Eventually, the light bulb was hard to get out. I saw them take it out and actually saw 3 guys look at it and come back with a couple of boxes. They made me turn the lights off and on and said I was good to go. The next morning going to work, the passenger side headlight still not working. I took it back and they actually argued with me saying that they changed the left side. BTW, the left bulb was changed 4 months ago. Again, I know right from left and drivers side from passenger side. I was treated rudely and not even an I'm sorry for the confusion. As I repeated my experience to the manager, he insisted that they changed the left side and acted like I was trying to get a free headlight!!!!!!!!!! They lost a good customer because I hate to be lied to. It's scary to think they cannot even change a LIGHT BULB in a car. Shame on Quik Stop Oilube. Liers are losers. read more
