This place is a classic example of a menu that's stretched too thin. I've heard from many that certain things here have been good but when we went it was AWFUL. Loaded fries were soggy and cheap. This may be the best burrito ever created. After trying the carnitas burrito we haven't ordered anything else on the menu and have come almost every week cause it's just that good. They do a good job balancing the Mexican rice, beans, pico, and, cheese but the real star of the show is the carnitas meat. Super fun ambiance too! Service was some of the best I have seen. I felt like "la familia" there especially the way they treated my aging father. Food taste and presentation was excellent, but do expect on the milder side for Mexican cuisine. There is a nice sauce/hot sauce bar to add more heat and flavor as desired. I had ahi tacos. I got an al pastor taco and a chorizo and steak taco. The pastor was just okay honestly not very tender meat and the flavor was off. The chorizo and steak or campechano was better but still not out of this world comprable to rancheritos. The burrito was well a burrito. Hard to mess up but I wasn't anything crazy special. This place is great! We went here early on a Friday and it was clean, food came fast, and we loved the environment. We're big fans of street tacos, and it was nice to go to a street taco place where the tacos were authentic, but there was plenty of seating and space. We had the al pastor, asada, and the carnitas tacos. All were wonderful and were overflowing with meat. We also got the chips and guac, which was a steal for $3, with homemade chips and fresh tangy guac. We will definitely be coming again. read more
