You will have to pour your own boiling water broth into the bowl. The broth was bland, watered down and missing the typical rich pho flavor. And the noodles were overly starchy and chewy. In a typical pho restaurant, they will blanch the pho noodles in the broth to get rid of that. In this case, the cook took the dry noodles out of the bag and plopped it into a "to-go" bowl. I am Vietnamese and used to work in an authentic pho restaurant in San Jose. Don't expect traditional experience here. I was also surprised that the top steak came as small cubes rather than a steak portion. The biggest disappointment was the no take-home policy.
