I'm not really a big boba fan, but I do like egg pudding! This Quicklys is really cute and I love the location. I've been there twice so far. I got the Honey Milk Tea with egg pudding. My cousin got a Kiwi slush. Both were really good! We ordered 2 orders of spam musubi, which took about 20 minutes because the rice was cooking. Probably the only reason why I give 4 stars. My daughter even said her boba was hard too and my aunt and my mom... boba isn't suppose to be hard at all and it was hard like a rock made me sick! Like really? How are you going to mess that up! Tried this new place out. Had a honeydew slushy. It was a super sweet artificial colored liquid devoid of any real fruit. I returned it for a peach tea which was also made from a concentrate. It seems almost everything is made from powders and syrup. No fruit here and everything is made behind the curtain. The food menu was abundant in fried offerings...so if you crave sugary drinks and fat laden foods this may be your kind of place. I love Quickly, I go to all of the different Quickly locations in the bay area and for the most part there isn't much difference. But the pinole location is a master class in poor customer service. The young man did NOT listen to my very clear order, they (repeatedly) serve me AFTER other people who ordered after me (which would be fine once but EVERY TIME???) and I'm always made to wait a while 10+ minutes longer than in any other quickly location. And while I acknowledge that the mistake is mostly mine for having returned to this lack luster location I would like to make the community aware of a few alternatives in the area with better service and more attentive staff. Nothing but Quick -_- We normally come here when our kids, or my hubby & I are craving for boba. Since they opened up, we had no problems at this location whatsoever. Service/items were good & given at a prompt, timely manner. That is...until today. We came in after church. My husband, eldest daughter & 11 month old son came down to order 4 boba drinks. FOUR. They took almost 30 minutes to give it to us Why? I have no idea. My husband said that he had to take our son out of his car seat, because that's how LONG they took. And he said that he saw so many people after them that came in, and got their boba first. He impatiently waited after all these folks. Myself, and our middle daughter we're baking in the car, while we were parked right in front of door. So yes, I saw all these people enter afterwards, and come right on out. They had no explanation as to why it too that long, neither did they apologize. Had it been me inside waiting, I would have asked for my money back & said deuces. Stopped by the new Quickly for some boba and it did NOT disappoint... the service was really good and the staff were all very friendly... Especially Kaylee who took her time to answer questions about their numerous add-ins and recommendations. The drinks turned out really good and the bobas had a nice texture. Not too gummy, sticky, or mushy... the perfect chew with a nice brown sugar, almost caramel finish. Finally the bathroom was super clean!!! Thank goodness!!! The whole store was pretty clean! I've been here 5 times now. There's only one register and to get your drink/food it takes foreverrr. Even when it's just drink. I tried ordering over the phone and unlike other quicklys/boba places this location doesn't take phone orders so you have to come in and wait, then leave feeling like a grease ball. Almost everytime I've been here they're always out of something. No boba, no Thai milk tea, no popcorn chicken, no bowls, no lumpia... I waited soooo long for this place to open. Every since I moved to Pinole I said we need a boba place! I even told the old phonomenal (pho shop) restaurant before they closed they should incorporate boba into their menu or open up a shop here! Anyhow I wanted to love this place but I just can't. Oh, the popcorn chicken is soooo salty, whyyyyyy?!?! I wish we could tell them the level of saltiness we want. I also hate that they don't use fresh fruits for some of their drinks. It could be easily done. Sometimes their drinks taste like potpourri! I'll try this place a couple more times. Im going to give this quickly location 3 stars not for the food but for the service. The boba tea was good and refreshing, the waffle fries were hot and delicious but if only it didnt take almost an hour to get it. The first time I went here it was still the soft opening and it wasnt very busy surprisingly and took about 10 minutes to get my drink, which might be considered long for just a simple boba tea. The second time I came here with my good friend and we waited about 40 minutes for everything and the card machine wasnt working. I felt bad for the woman in front of us because they could have at least gave her a free drink for having to deal with the long wait with no resolution or something to compensate. The last time I went here school was out and the line was horrible and there was only one register. I mean shouldn't there be at least 2 with all the attention this location is getting. Maybe im asking for too much but two registers would really speed things up. If the service was better I would have easily given it 5 stars for just good food/drinks and great location. read more

If you're in the mood for boba or a snack, this is the place to go! The Customer Service here is outstanding and I actually felt like I was being taken care of. This Quickly location is far better than the Concord location. The popcorn chicken I had ordered was delicious! The watermelon slush was made to perfection as well. I've only had their regular milk tea and taro milk tea, which were pretty good. But as I'm trying to use less plastic, I'd want to use my own reusable cup. So far, this is the only place I've been to that does not allow customers to use their own cups. I was told it was due to sanitation purposes and them having to wash my cup. I mean... I always wash my cup before using it? I don't order drinks at cafes and hand them a dirty cup. I won't be returning for their drinks- there are plenty of boba shops nearby that welcome and appreciate reusable cups. But might come back to try their food/sweets. read more

Quickly will soon gonna be Quickly going out of business!! Let me explain, at first I did write a review on the 3rd day of their soft opening. Then I decided to delete and wait until the actual grand opening day! But during the soft opening I actually came in an order 3 different flavor drinks cause I love boba drinks I want it to see how their boba drinks are. I've order the taro, Thai tea and cantaloupe. These are my favorite boba drinks to get when I go to the other boba places like Trutti Fruitti in Hercules and the Tropical cafe donut shop also sells boba in Hercules. I get the same thing and I like them all from these 2 places. Cause u can actually taste the flavor and the tea so I figure at the actual boba place will be a lot better but that's not the case. Quickly boba drinks don't taste anything like what the flavor says on the menu plus the flavors are not fresh more like made from powder. Now, on the menu says U can have it like a Slushy, Snow or regular like milk tea. When I order during the soft opening I order in all of this 3 option so I can see what was the difference.Well, Slushy was more like Snow the guy did say slushy its similar to the snow. He sure didn't lie about that!! Lol They should never put anything on the menu if u are not getting what u pay for. But besides from the BoBa tea I must say that I Love the popcorn chic!! Lol I tell you we were all cramped up in like a box size while the owner and her quest was enjoying the open space didn't bother one second to look over and be like ok let me open a little space up for my customers to seat. No... the owner and the husband was both seating and enjoying themselves while we all squeezed up in a little space. The moment we stood up about to leave mind u was only 2 tables. Another group of 5 trying to rushed up to the table I was seating to claim the table and i was only going to throw away my trash! I still have my purse and stuff on the table I was like.. ummm can I get my stuff first?! For the owner to choose busy hours to have a party was not a business owner move. Very unprofessional!! They should've wait after the business hours to have a party or closed the business down and have the party. But of course didn't care or have no concerns at all about customers!! Growing pains for sure!!! We have been waiting since last year for this location to open, and have been VERY disappointed by their service. They are extremely slow and do not know their own products. Though we have been to this location only twice, each time the drinks had to be remade. On my last visit, one drink had to be made 3 times. I will try to give them another chance, but Tuti Fruity in Hercules is more consistent. I just hope this place can step up their service as they have more options! read more

I love it here! A great, family-friendly environment. The food and drinks are what you'd expect from a typical Quickly chain but the reason I keep coming back is because of the service. All staffers seem friendly enough and are efficient workers, especially Jacob who both rang me up and made all four of my drinks in a timely manner. read more

This place is great but there was a girl that was wearing fake nails and they were really long and that was disgusting because the fake nails under the nails has a lot of bacteria and that was really gross and she wasn't even wearing gloves and I bought some boba and she made my drinks and she wasn't even wearing gloves and that's is just disgusting so please wear gloves when you make my boba. read more

Visited for the first time during the soft opening. Great specials- four milk tea flavors on sale for $1.49. Ordered milk teas and popcorn chicken. Disappointed with chicken order as they only filled the bag half way. Actually, not even half way. Other Quickly locations fill up bag and offer hefty portions. The drinks are great but there's nothing Quick about "Quickly." First time I waited 20 min for 2 drinks. Second time I waited 35min for food & drinks. I also noticed that some people ordered after me & got their drinks first. Staff is courteous but needs improvements on serving customers in a timely manner. Terrible. I mean terrible service. Been here before and it's been good but today I had the worst experience. It's Father's Day and I was getting a boba with my father. We ordered at 6:30 at 7 I asked what was going on because two people behind us got their orders before we did. I asked what was going on and got the run around. Finally one of the workers said that they are making it right now. It comes out and it looked like they just threw stuff in there. Didn't make it correct. I ordered 2 tai tea snow with boba and it wasn't even snow. It was like a half assed smoothie and they didn't even drain out whatever the boba is in so it turned the drink partially black And on top of that there was no customer service. Didn't even get a sorry that it took so long. My father asked if the guy working cared and he turned around and walked to the back.
