As a regular of the Buford Highway location, I stopped by one day because I was in the Duluth area and wanted quality bubble tea. As usual, Quickly did not disappoint. I got my usual: black milk tea with boba and grass jelly in addition to fried tofu. The tofu was delicious, came out hot and fresh as always, though the wait was a bit longer than I'm used to. About the same for the bubble tea - it tasted perfect but wasn't filled up all the way, as I've read from some of the other reviews. Overall, I can see how it's not as great of a location as the other (which fills up the bubble tea all the way, has a shorter wait time, and seemingly faster service), but still the same food and drink, and with a nice open interior with plenty of space to study or work. read more

Me and brother went to Quickly for a late night snack. We especially went for their famous nuggets. They remain open till midnight and they are located at the Kroger Complex, towards the front part. To be honest our experience was quite positive with a few hiccups. Firstly and most importantly, the food was good. The spicy Taiwanese Nuggets (3.50$) was great tasting. It was spicy and filling since they give you quite a bit for the price. We also took spicy chicken wings (3.50$ I believe). It was ok tasting and the serving contains about 4-5 peices. To put out the spicy flames I tried the Mango slush. It was sweet to the buds and chill to the brains. I recommend the Mango slush alongside the spicy selections. Its Great!! On the downside, many might not find the environment appealing, cause its not. Besides, based on my experience they should use an antonym of their title. They should not be Quickly, they should be more like Freaking Slow. It took about 30 mins to serve me the single order of nuggets and wings. All you guys who gave this place 1 star have a POLE UP THEIR BUTT. Either you did something to deserve the "bad service and food" or you're just a brat. Quickly's is just that, quick. With just a few employees ((who are tiny little Asian girls and 1 old man I feel for )) they always manage to make drinks in under a few minutes. If they're not too busy, their amazing Taiwanese chicken nuggets are big juicy fried chicken bites ready in under 10 minutes. Their slushees are great and my boyfriend has tried every single one of them. They're not very consistent with the taste and make of the drinks but that doesn't mean they're not drinkable. They do very well and I wish they could expand, but maybe they're content with how business is going! No biggie, still my place to go. read more

I first tried Quickly about 8 years ago when they had two stores close to me - one was at the Gwinnett Place Mall and the other was inside Snow Mountain. I immediately fell in love with bubble tea, so when the Gwinnett Place Mall store closed I was pretty sad. Snow Mountain still sells bubble tea, but it's a little different and let's be honest - Snow Mountain is really dirty. I knew there was a Buford Highway location, but I hadn't made it there yet, so I was thrilled when I read here on yelp yesterday that a new Quickly opened relatively close to me. As soon as I finished bootcamp I raced over there - sweaty and gross - to get some Almond Milk Tea. The owner was there when I arrived at the window and we chatted briefly about my love of Quickly. He told me about his Buford Highway location and noticed I had the yelp app open on my iPhone. Very friendly guy. They took my order, I paid cash (of course - it's cash only) and while I waited I looked around the store. It's a really cute little place - plenty of tables and it was very clean. I saw a couple people on laptops, so I should have asked if they have free wifi, but didn't. They had my delicious Almond Milk Tea with bubbles ready and in my hot little hands before I could say Quickly. There's no question I'll be back - over and over again - and I may even try something new. And hopefully next time I'll get a little more tapioca. The first time I stop by it wasn't too all that. Just because one of the waiter suggest me to try the black milk tea which I did.. but wasn't as good like I wanted it to be. You pretty much get what you pay for. So don't expect to come here and feel like you're about to be in a lavish ass spot with top notch service. It's like a cool little hang out spot for high school kids to me. I just go in, order, wait uncomfortably since I'm usually the only black person in there, get my food and leave. I remember when Quickly was the spot to go to. Now with so many other bubble tea places, this place is dead. Service is usually pretty fast. I always get the black milk tea with lychee jelly & no ice. I used to get the taro milk tea, but they really overload it with half & half. My little brothers and I are addicted to their spicy chicken nuggets and tako yaki. If you do not want a long wait, just call in ahead of time. The cashiers are usually sweet. To get a quick milk tea fix, quickly's will do the job. We always get the mango slush and jasmine milk tea. I try to be as healthy as possible but be sure to get the slush and not the smoothie. The smoothie is pure crystal sugar with a hint of mango. Extremely grainy. The mango slush tastes good but is clearly just syrup. The girls can sometimes have a heavy hand but otherwise, the slush is tasty. Milk tea was yummy but the grass jelly could benefit from being in smaller pieces. It is nearly impossible to suck the jelly, even with the extra large straws. Nuggets are addictive but this time the girl was really heavy on the spice. I am a wimp when it comes to spicy food, so i emphasize that i wanted my nuggets to be tiny tiny spicy. I choked on my first nugget due to the spice suffocating me. Imagine the cinnamon challenge, but with no cinnamon. I like Quickly's because it's consistent. It never disappoints, it never blows me away. That being said, the flavor and style of their tea and nuggets makes it my favorite place to grab a cold, sweet, boba-filled drink. Quicklys tea is averagely priced- I believe it's $2.75 for a regular, $3.50 for a large but the regular is the perfect size. Unlike other tea places, I've gone out of my comfort zone (aka Thai tea heaven) to explore other options such as coffee milk, taro, caramel coffee, rose tea, mango green tea, etc. and I've enjoyed them all! Their chicken is always satisfying-- crispy and hot (made in front of you) with a serious kick if you get it spicy. A couple things I would say to make it better: their workers are typically quite reserved which makes it hard to communicate at times. I wish they offered a variety of levels of spiciness. The interior seems like it belongs in a failing club and could use some renovation to create a more comfortable and inviting environment. Bubble tea cafes are competitive in this area, and with all the cutesy decked out ones nearby, I think it'd really be helpful for them to vamp it up. They only take card if the order is above $10..I've seen people come in and have to leave for that before. I always I'd here if I want to go grab bubble tea and go! My favorite drink is the royal milk tea because it's a mixture of black milk tea and jasmine milk tea. Sometimes black milk tea can be too sweet, so the jasmine tones it down a little. I haven't ordered the spicy chicken nuggets in awhile, and this time around the nuggets were huge! And my bag was filled to the top. The price has slowly gone up. It went from $2.65 to $2.93 to $3.16 for a small now. It's still way cheaper than the other bubble tea spots though. The only reason I give 4 stars is because literally all of the workers, except for one, have such bad attitudes. Sometimes, the girl won't even say one word to me the entire time. Orlando's quickly puts this one to shame! To start off with, seems like this place at first glance, was decent, with a fair queue already waiting inside. The place looked very old from the outside, so I was thinking maybe i'm just used to our brand new location. The fish tank was very nice, but the decor was sparse, and the inside is dark, and depressing. The girls were noisily conversing with each other while working, talking over even the voices of the people sitting in the cafe. The place has a glass box kitchen; however the point of such a design is to so a customer can see how cleanly and fast the food is made. Instead, I saw many open containers, very dusty counters, and dead flies. They said they were out of fresh fruit, which is just really unappealing sounding. 3 stars because quickly was my first boba obsession back on 2011. I miss he days where they would be so packed the line would be outside the store. They are still packed, but their quality has down serviced since then. If you plan on getting something small like a boba and a snack or either individually, make sure you have cash because it's a $10 minimum for card. Their quality of drinks is poor compared to all other boba places. There's a million other places you could get boba and receive better service as well. They pre make all their drinks and they're pretty bland. Their food on the other hand is still pretty amazing. I love their Taiwanese chickens nuggets and never get tired of them. I have heard so much about this place I decided to try it out with my teen. We ordered bubble tea small size was a good price for $2.99 each. We ordered a light lunch/snack, Taiwanese chicken nuggets which were delicious! It almost tasted like fried calamari but with real meat chicken. It was fresh and hot. We also ordered fried dumplings which are just okay, I make it better at home. The restaurant had a lot of space for hanging out or doing homework, you get free WiFi password. Here's the bad part, the windows were dirty and the AC vents were covered in dust, like it has never been cleaned. The lighting inside was very dim, some of the light fixtures didn't even work. The last 3 times I've been to this Quickly's location convinced to never come back. It is unfortunate because i used to prefer their milk teas over sweet hut, kung fu, etc. 1st incidence - I got a Jasmine Milk Tea with grass jelly and boba one afternoon, I was craving for it so I was excited once i got the drink. Something definitely didnt satisfy my craving. I took a few more sips and I've made the conclusion that the GRASS JELLY WAS OLD. I hate to describe it bc i can already taste it in my mouth as of now, but it was sort of a sour/spoiled tasting flavor and the texture was funky. There goes $4 in the trash. 2nd incidence - My friend and I grabbed some once night, a royal and jasmine milk tea (size L). One girl was texting in the side corner and didnt help us, while the other girl in the back finally made her way up front to get our orders. The milk teas tasted like 70% water and I got upset. I went up to the girl and told her the drinks taste like water and if it was possible to switch it to Thai Tea. The girl was quick to say "Oh i don't know, i didnt make the drinks, sorry!" Ok first off - no shit you didnt make the drinks, i already know that. Go back to texting. Second - i just wanted to get my drinks switched since i paid for 2 large drinks! And i tipped y'all! Nope, she got defensive and ran off to the back after she said that. I got so upset, i took both drinks and threw it in the trash in the front. Money wasted again. 3rd incidence - Just last week, my friend picked up some milks teas from here to another friends house.
