My best friend introduced me to this place years ago. Been here many times. We love their drinks and taiwanese chicken nuggets. My favorite used to be taro milk tea with bubbles. Now it is Royal milk tea with grass jelly and aloe vera. I love how their chicken nuggets actually fill up the snack bag, plentiful to eat. I got mild spicy this time but it tasted like medium spicy. I guess one too many shakes of chili seasoning? I had to order another one that isn't spicy at all for my sisters since they couldn't eat spicy. So this is an update to an update. I was just here this past Monday, and my taro slush with tapioca pearls and taro pudding was not satisfactory. The tapioca pearls were soggy while the slush was icy and some chunky because of the ice. I'd have to say that it was on the terrible side. Perhaps if I had gotten my usual milk tea base drink that it would be better... Perhaps. I don't know. Since my discovery of another bubble tea place in the area, this place isn't on my top place to visit anymore. Although I hope that their Taiwanese chicken nuggets are still good. Always a good place to go to for some quick bubble tea and Taiwanese street food. I'll keep this one short and to the point. If you're looking for a place to chill or just grab a quick snack this place definitely works in that category. It sits probably close to 20 or so people comfortably. Honestly I love Quickly because of their cheap prices (you can't beat it!). But their tapioca milk tea is pretty good too (with grass jelly!) I've also had plenty other drinks but I think I'll stick with the regular. My friend loves their taro milk tea and as much as I've never liked taro, Quickly's taro MT was actually good to me. I've tasted many places that are just so powdery. My absolute favorite tea is Wintermelon Black Tea but I don't exactly enjoy it very much here. I've actually been to Quickly a lot. More than the actually Check-In's show. I wish I could love Quickly as much as others. Many of my friends' to-go-to place is definitely Quckly for a good snack. When I did eat meat, their chicken nuggets are really tasty. You can get them extra spicy and it's right on point. Quickly definitely has an extensive menu with drinks and snacks. They even have watermelon slush which is available year round and it's something my niece loves. The place looks much bigger inside than it does outside. It is much more roomier inside. However, where they fail are the torn seats and uncleaniness of the place. Not only that, it's so dark in the seating area. I recently ordered a taro slush and I felt it didn't have any flavor. It was more of a water down slushie. I tasted the honeydew slush and it was delicious and I was very impressed. I've had their milk teas in the past and didn't think they were the best either. If my kids didn't love it, I wouldn't come as often either. Plan just to get and go. Customer service was always blah. Love Quickly for their drinks and snacks. I like to order the chicken nuggets, corn nuggets, and the Taiwanese Sausages. Chicken nuggets are really flavorful, corn nuggets are creamy and sweet, and Taiwanese sausages are delicious. I walked in the other day hoping to fix my bubble tea fix and when I walked in it felt cold, gross and very awkward. I experienced an unpleasant encounter with a female employee at this Quickly location. The employee in question has gray/platinum hair; she either woke up on the wrong side of the bed or just simply was not taught manners by her parents. Being a loyal fan of Quickly on Buford Hwy, I decided to make a long drive to this particular location after the one there was closed. While my group and I were deciding on our order, the employee used a condescending tone over the counter mic to ask us if we were going to order yet - immediately followed with informing us that they weren't making any more food. This was around 10:20pm. There were some raised brows from customers that heard the interaction. The same behavior was repeated when my friend went up there to order a drink and was ignored. The employee just got back on the mic and was in the midst of saying that they stopped making drinks too when I chose to leave the shop because of her attitude and demeanor - it was so unprofessional that I found myself feeling anxious and upset. In response, the employee made a dismissive comment: "Whatever, that's fine with me too." She displayed a complete lack of customer service skills. Interestingly, while waiting in their car looking for another bubble tea shop, I observed the same employee taking the order of a man who arrived after us. I'm a little late on the Quickly train, so I missed the golden years of quickly that I read about, but there were definitely some positives on my first trip. Right off the bat, staff were pretty nice to me. I noticed the $10 minimum and was preparing to leave when they told me because it was my first visit, they could run my card without a $10 purchase. I feel like that was a one time deal though, so I wouldn't bank on them doing that often. Very cool though! I settled on the large Coconut milk tea ($3.75) and the chicken nuggets (I didn't realize you could get spicy) ($3.50), which is a good price to me, because the amount of chicken nuggets, and the size of them, were kinda a bargain price. I would've ordered the fried sweet potato, but sadly they were out. The chicken nuggets were seasoned well, pretty large in size (at least 3 bites per nugget) and were fresh/hot. The tea was another story. At least for the coconut, they used powder, and mixed it with really hot water. When they mixed it with the ice, and most of the ice melted not 5 minutes later, which was disappointing. The coconut flavor was tasty though Quickly is a much bigger store than I thought, with a lots of table space and a glass enclosed kitchen, where all the staff are, so you can watch them work. I wont lie and say you'll walk in and think how clean, industrial or "apple store" looking the place is, but it gets the job done. Located in a little restaurant strip in the same foot print as the Kroger off Steve Reynolds blvd and Old Norcross rd, parking is never going to be an issue, and there's multiple exits out of the lot to both streets. Service was quick, food was good, tea was not nearly cold enough, because of the ice being melted, but customer service was good. This is probably the busiest Quickly in Georgia. Sometimes, the line goes out the door. Their service is pretty fast, and the drinks are consistently delicious. My favorite is the mango slush with mango jelly. The caramel mocha slush with coffee jelly's great too... if you need an extra boost of sugar and caffeine. Both the spicy fried tofu and chicken are perfect midnight snacks. Oh did I mention they're open until midnight? If you plan on ordering food, go at least half an hour before closing. If the older lady makes your food, it's gonna be epic!! Downside? The place sometimes has a funny sewer smell, especially near the bathrooms. The interior is very plain and the music can be really loud at times. Do you want to come here for a date, nah. Can you come here dressed in your sweats and get loud with your friends? Absolutely. Both were sweet without tasting artificial. I would recommend the lychee slushy only to those who enjoy eating fresh lychee. Lychee is arguably an acquired taste, and Quickly's lychee slushy tastes like a liquid version of fresh lychee. The music here is really loud.
