My new fave, pistachio smoothie
Juju A.

Still the best boba spot around! And I can trust to turn my cup upside down and the seal not break on me lol and I absolutely love that they have a variety of sizes and flavors to choose from. I don't care what anyone says, they're still my fave years later

Super size strawberry banana smoothie. Large white chocolate with ube and Boba

Staff, service, food and drinks were all amazing! I recommend this to everyone. They even have a cute little sitting area with small tables to enjoy your goodies. Everything was yummy

Thai tea
Alexis M.

First of all, the service was AMAZING! Seriously friendly and attentive staff. The boba was decent, but nothing special. I definitely like my Thai tea to have more of a punch of tea flavor. I also ordered the chicken bites and fries, the seasoning was tasty but so salty I couldn't finish the meal. I'd go again if I was nearby, but I wouldn't go out of my way.

Popcorn chicken add spicy seasoning and honey mustard
Ali I.

Omg I hadn't been to a quickly since my college days in Berkeley like 15 years ago lmao. Very nostalgic. This one is super small inside. Lots of drink options and a few food - I think I saw popcorn chicken, fries, bubble waffles and some type of pandan pudding with ice cream. I tried the rose milk tea with mini boba (they were out of regular boba but I ended up liking the mini!). Boba were nice and chewy and tasted fresh. The drink was extremely sweet like very lol. Def would get less sweet next time. Also got the popcorn chicken with spicy seasoning (25 cents) and a honey mustard (25 cents). Chicken was tasty and a good fast snack.

Horrible quality control. Served us a cup full of raw popcorn chicken. Batter isn't even cooked all the way.

Honey Green Milk Tea..

Budget boba and budget quality. Purchase a matcha latte and honey green milk tea. Matcha latte didn't appear to have real matcha and tasted nothing like matcha. Honey green tea had the honey at the bottom of the cup and not diluted into the drink. Also tge honey tasted artificial. You place your order outside and only have to go orders. Nice staff and fast service.

Huge!

Came here for national boba day even though I'm not a boba fan. I just like the drinks lol. Got the super in both of these: -Taro. Did not taste good. Had a weird after taste. Would not get again. 2/5 -Caramel milk tea with egg pudding. Really sweet, so I let all of the ice melt. Delicious though. 4.5/5 Would I recommend? Sure, but they've always been a hit or miss for me. Decent pricing and location close to me were why I chose Quickly over other places I know would have been better.

Tamarind & pineapple slush with mini boba and crystal boba
Connie C.

I'm not much of a Quickly fan in general but this store had some stuff that's out of the ordinary. They have buko pandan desserts and got tamarind flavored drinks! Not just your usual milk teas and flavored teas. They also have some specialty slushies like coconut cookie crumble. They also serve eggpuffs here, with drizzle options for extra flavor. The store is by the entrance of a small strip mall, hard to miss. Plenty of parking during covid, you can wait in your car or in a few of the socially distanced chairs. They call out your name to pick up your order. Their tamarind flavored slush is great, it's on the tart side, probably better off pairing with something sweet. I was debating between pineapple and mango, ended up with a pineapple. I think I finished the slush a bit too fast with that combo. I've had their house milk tea and green tea. Green tea had very good tea flavors, which i was not expecting. The worker there said the house milk tea is pretty popular, it had good tea flavors but I didnt have a sweet tooth for the regular sugar level. Lots of surprises here.

Can I bring my own reusable cup? And also, are there any non-dairy milk substitute/options like almond milk or soy milk for the milk tea?

lol, no. Go to 7-11. How would the baristas know if you cleaned your cup well anyway to have it touch their clean coffee cooking area. Plus they dont know where you've been. Potential spread of germs.

Great…read moreFilipino-owned coffee shop in Carson, Ca (it might as well be Filipino town ) beans mostly sourced out of the Philippine farmers highlighting one of its wonderful natural resources: COFFEE. Check out "Barako"-known to the people of Pampanga as a "strong, robust cup of kape", at least my mom & dad would say over & over as we were growing up. This shop is spacious, clean, modern , formerly occupied by another coffee shop, Greendoor. TCC features Filipino coffee culture, supporting the hardworking Filipino farmers. The beans are roasted in-house, its humble beginnings of roasting in the proprietor's (Ron Dizon) garage. Barako is the inspiration, Liberia cultivar. My parents would often reminisce that it is the best coffee they've ever tasted, drinking it black. Teofilo was the patriarchal namesake, Ron's maternal grandfather. His very strong work ethic was embedded into the fabric of this coffee shop. Proud Filipino culture in every cup. The space faces the Carson Civic Center with ample, free parking. One can easily spend some time at their comfortable indoor & outdoor seating. High ceiling, modern music playing in the background, it's an ideal place to hang out do some work or just chill and enjoy a cup of kape. Staff are amiable & helpful Whether you enjoy your coffee black, hot or cold, this shop offers innovative flavors for beverages that are Filipino- inspired &/or pair it with baked goods (sourcing local bakers like Gemmae Bakery), it's worth trying. Plus, it helps support the small business owner & the Philippines coffee farmers. [Parking]: There's a designated parking garage, but it was surprisingly packed on Sunday morning and I barely found an available spot at 10 AM on Sunday. [Atmosphere and amenities]: This is quite a popular coffee shop, but there were only two employees working so expect to wait a bit even if you order drip coffee. Ask the cashier to print the receipt as the Wi-Fi password is listed on it. The cafe is very spacious and plays modern background music. There is also a small section of the cafe called the Tayo Na Library with books for kids to read. [Menu]: According to the sign, the best sellers are the halo-halo latte, turon latte, shaken bibingka latte, and ube matcha - so basically dessert-style lattes. They use the Aeropress to make the single origin coffee. *** Shaken Bibingka Latte (hot - $7.50): Not overly sweet with hints of coconut and a caramel aftertaste - good smooth finish. *** This is a solid coffee shop for anyone who is open to try latte flavors with a different twist.

Today was mother's day and the Enclave was busy with a lot of people. They were busy too but the time I came, the line was not to the outside window as usual and stayed indoors so it was a steady type of busy. I ordered my island matcha and sat to wait with my dog, until I just noticed the people behind me just getting their drinks first, then another, then another.. A family came in and got greeted, that was cute, probably regulars, their orders were taken and promptly made. Nice. But then the next ones also were getting made--huh? Where's mine? I thought they might have had some online orders? I was still sitting patiently in front of the pick up counter because I didn't want to bother the obviously busy lady that's super locked in. I worked in food before too, so sometimes I get that some tickets go in front of others and the steady locked in flow of the line was really cool to observe but this was a little bit too weird since--oh another one got his drink right after ordering. My husband finally regrouped with me inside because we also had ordered from the Fish grill, the order was done from fish grill, but I was still there wondering what happened to my drink from Nook--maybe syrups needed to be refilled? Maybe steeping tea?? Idk but at this point I was getting sad since I just saw another walk away with their drinks after just ordering. I sigh, my husband asks me what's wrong. I show him my phone showing the receipt of when I ordered and he noticed it's been a while and he also saw another walk away who just ordered with a drink in hand already. So he goes up to ask them if the island matcha came out. A guy from the line sees the order number, goes to their ticket tablet and makes my matcha drink in less than 5 seconds (I mean it, they're super quick). My husband beckons me to grab my matcha and I come up silently to grab it and leave with another sigh. Drink tastes great. Though the just making the drink quickly and not acknowledging/apologizing that something went wrong was kind of sad since I already felt disregarded in the first place. As I walked away I heard that my ticket just somehow didn't show up but sigh. I wish someone checked on me if I was waiting on anything. I know it's on me too for not speaking up, but I trusted the process. I thought they didn't forget about me. I was wrong. I burnt my favorite mixing bowl today, we got turned away from my fav restaurant for lunch because they were full and we just happened to be the one behind the last queue that got accepted today. I made yucky bitter matcha today. Went here to make my day better but it added more fuel to the fire. :C Sigh. See you in a while Nook. Me sad. Happy Mother's day to all moms today though.

The thing that keeps me and my wife coming back (besides the unbeatable drink taste and quality) is the warm authentic service. This is key. We understood that we came in pretty late and close to closing, but we weren't planning on dining in, we just wanted to get 3 drinks and 1 food item to go. As soon as we walk in, we received with "we're closed for dining" which all three of us said okay, got it. As we took a look at the menu to figure out what we had wanted, we were met with annoyed stares and sighs as they watched us. This interaction in its full entirety lasted about 10 minutes from walk-in, to waiting, and leaving. It was a pretty uncomfortable situation, and kind of disappointing, as the girls making the drinks not only rolled their eyes and let out sighs while simply making our drinks, messing up one of them up and saying "oh well" and continued to make faces. Which is fine, I didn't ask for it be remade since I didn't want to further interact with the women during this closing shift in this establishment as to not want to feel anymore uncomfortable as we had been with the treatment from the staff. Along with the service not being the greatest, the food item we had ordered Pad See Ew, ended up containing quite a few pieces of meat that we weren't anticipating, considering one of us doesn't eat meat, it unfortunately caused pretty bad stomach issues. We hope that maybe we had just caught an off day with the staff and this isn't the usual service, but as it was our first time at this establishment, it will more than likely be our last.
