I wanted to get Tostilocos so I went here. I specifically asked for no pork skin and have them replace it with mangoes. I see the lady add the skin. I talk to the cashier and asked if the tostilocos she was making was mine, and that I didn't want pork skin. She said there wasn't any, even though I saw her put some. I thought maybe it was something else. Maybe I'm trippin. NO! She straight up lied to my face and put pork skin. I had to take a whole bunch out from my tostilocos. Horrible customer service. I went in to purchase some strawberries with whip cream and asked for everything separate. That way each person at home can serve themselves and add the cream plus the toppings to their liking. They refused to sell them to us like that not taking into consideration that someone could be allergic to dairy or any one of other toppings. They are also, the ladies there seem upset about something but whatever the case, the food here is spot on every time. You can't go wrong with anything. as someone who works customer service i had to write a review...walked in to wanting to order some raspados. stood there looking at the menu to see what they offered as i over hear some lady and a guy arguing about money in spanish and not leaving the 100s in the register and a lot of going back and forth. then the lady asked me if im ready and what did i want to order . i simply asked what kind of meats for tacos do they have as a lot of places carry different kind of meat options. she then said it was up on the board lol okay . then i proceeded to give her my order , then her phone rang and she answered, completely ignored what i said , then the guy took over and asked me what was i ordering , i then told him, 2 raspados and 2 counts of asada tacos. charged me , i was waiting for my order and he only gave me 1 raspados and my order of tacos . i told him im missing 1 more raspado and said he didn't charge me for it, i then paid for that one he didn't count and left .... i mean if they didn't argue in front of the customer, handled the customer first and then talked about it when there is no more clients around or pulled aside , customers wouldn't have to keep repeating their order and serve the customer first as continuous clients keeps their business running . especially if this is my first time ordering at this business. read more

Unfortunately I love their Al pastor nachos, but their customer service sucks soooo bad. My office just ordered 10+ meals and I called them to let them know the chips on my nachos were stale. Yes, I get that nachos get soggy with all the toppings. But you know something is wrong with your nachos when they are soggy yet so stale you can barely chew on them. Then the cashier is arguing with me and is trying to tell me the cook made them at 5am this morning and I ate them at 11am. I know the difference in taste and texture from fresh to stale chips. Not once did she apologize or refrain from arguing with the customer. I won't be a returning customer, not just for what happened today. But because they clearly don't remedy the problem that other customers previously had with bad customer service as I did today, based on previous reviews. I've been here a handful of times, and yes, the service sucks, but the food is pretty good for what you're paying for. I've had a few flavors of the raspados, but the fresa con leche/strawberry with milk is my favorite. It's kinda on the sweet side and the crushed ice isn't on the fine side, but when you mix it all together (when you can since there's so much in the cup packed so tightly), it's perfect. They throw some sliced strawberries in there too. I can never finish it alone in one sitting so I either share it or save the other half for later. My favorite food here are the nachos. It tastes pretty homemade and it's covered in meat, cheese, guac, sour cream, and other stuff I don't remember cuz I always inhale it. It just doesn't come with jalapeños, but luckily I have a gallon of them on deck at home. Chamangos are really popular here, you see almost everyone walking out with one. I've had it a couple times, but I get tired of it before I even get halfway through. Finally had a bionico from here. It's like a Filipino fruit salad and a yogurt parfait had a baby. It was BOMB. They strain the corn and add queso fresca, chilli, lemon and mayo. 2/5 It was warm and mushy kind of like creamed corn. It was okay but I didn't want any of it past the first bite. I thought it was going to be roasted corn, instead it's corn that's in a water bath. Bionicos: fruit with cream, granola, and coconut(I didn't want raisins). This was pretty darn good. It's already made they add the banana fresh and the toppings too. I liked that the fruit was cold and the granola was crunchy. Good flavor profile. 4/5 Tamale: it's only corn, it's really interesting. It tastes like a moist corn bread. There's no filling. It's just corn maza. It was also sweet. It's supposed to be different. It wasn't bad. It just wasn't the typical tamale that you would expect. 3.5/5 Flan: this was disappointing. The caramel sauce was good. The flan itself was not creamy or soft.
