If you're from the west coast like me, you should know that Quickly locations can have a bad rep (both in quality and management). That's why when I first walked into this place, I was pleasantly surprised. In summary, this is probably the best Quickly I've ever been to. Furthermore, this is one of the best boba places I have the opportunity to walk into In Michigan. Decor is on point, extremely clean and well managed, HUGE VALUE PORTIONS (this is their best selling point imo), and friendly staff and owners. It's a very wide open space so even on its more crowded days it doesn't get too cramped (so this can be an ideal study spot if you're a coffee shop/ boba spot studier like me). The boba scene in metro Detroit has just got a lot more competitive with the opening of this place. Excellent job Quickly, you got a new regular! EDIT: Their Mochi Waffle is dangerously, high-quality, deliciously good. Def 1000% cheat day worthy. read more

A friend at work mentioned this place was opening, and i told myself I had to try. Made it in for their soft opening weekend and managed to try a few things. The taro milk tea was very sweet - a little too sweet for my liking. The tapioca was cooked/flavored well, but I could not get past how sweet it was. That said, this can be fixed by ordering half sugar next time. The egg puff waffles were kinda just ok. Compared to what I've had in the past, these didn't really stand out too much. I may just need to try a different flavor. Positive note is that you can get these while you get bubble tea, so it's kinda convenient, if you've been craving. The Taiwanese popcorn chicken was amazing! You get a lot for $6 and they've got that perfect crunch on the outside while still soft/juicy on the inside. The chili seasoning powder helps add a little bit of flavor. I just wish there were more season powder options. The decor gives off a very modern, trendy vibe. There's plenty of tables if you're there to hang out or take care of some work. There's board games to stay entertained with friends and USB charging ports built into the bench area for when your phone is dying! Whether you're in a mood for chicken or bubble tea, this new spot is a definite must-try! read more

Excited to see quickly made it to michigan.... my excitement faded. Took 30 minutes to get 5 drinks. They messed up our order so it took another 10 minutes to make my 1 drink. They seemed more concerned with saying hi to their friends than getting my order fixed. Imagine my further disappointment when I'm on the road and realize my taro snow has huge chunks of ice all throughout it. Not worth going back to fix not worth going back period. If you happen to be friends with the people working there you may get decent service. Dont expect much if you're not. read more

Well hello Quickly, never thought I'd see you in Michigan. Having grown up in SoCal, I consider myself a little bit of a boba aficionado (or bubble tea for everyone else in the world). That being said, Quickly was never a go-to back home. To be quite honest, it was always at the bottom of my list being surrounded by Half&Half, Tastea, Sharetea, Tpumps, and other shops. But I was pleasantly surprised by this shop in Michigan. Maybe it's because there isn't many options out here, but I actually think this place did a pretty good job, especially considering that they just opened and that their workers are pretty new/still in training. The girls at the front were really sweet and even though one was still learning she was smiling and enthusiastic. The Tea: Ordered an Okinawa (Brown Sugar) Milk tea with regular boba and taro pudding. The tea actually tasted fine, not watered down like other boba shops in the area. No powder noticed (thank the boba gods from up above because powder is gross). The boba: Lacking some flavor, but chewy. Not overcooked. Can't complain much. The chicken: Came out warm and fresh. Sauces are available on the side. It is mild but has the teeniest bit of kick at the end. Some parts were hard to chew, as if they had the tendon-y parts, but that happens at even the best of boba shops and I don't have too much of an issue with it. I'd recommend maybe having spice levels for those that want more kick, but that's just a small thing. I liked it overall. Decor: Cute, very SoCal. There's lots of desks to work at and some sofas just to chill and play board games at. Clean and doesn't feel too cluttered at all. Asethetic-wise, definitely the best I've seen in the area. It's hard to live a boba life in Michigan (especially being so far from UMich and MSU), but I'm glad to see more shops popping up. Right now I can add Quickly to a list of go-to's, along with Kung Fu Tea and Ding Tea (whenever I'm up in the Lansing area, which is like never but ykno). Hope to see some more improvements as time passes! Edit: finally got to try the mochi waffles after they restocked. I looked like a total fattie with my large milk tea, chicken, and waffle but I don't care! The waffle was warm and chewy, like biting into happiness. It's pretty large too and I was able to share it with a friend. I got the green tea one per the boba-rista recommendation. Gotta try a different flavor next time I come back but if you're a green tea fan, the green tea waffle will definitely make you happy! Plus I think the sweet waffle and salty chicken were a happy combo for me! read more

I've been coming here since last year actually, and time after time, and I can't count how many times I've been here, unable to disappointed me once. I sometimes bring a friend who hasn't tried here to get them to like it and I'm always successful in making them love this place, and they seem to comes back for more too! Most of the time, I stick to one drink and I'm always look for recommendations to try, in order to expand my knowledge of the drinks they offer. To the many staff I've come across, they've all picked drinks I've been happily addicted too. All of them are wonderful people and all seem lovely, the drinks are phenomenal which is why I keep coming back and recommending this place to everyone, even my family, and they too have also gotten addicted to this place as well. read more

Y'all know me. I always find the good in a place! The food was good, the boba teas were decent. Nothing to write home about. But the actual reason for the low score was because of the service. This store was inappropriately name, it should be named SLOWLY. It took almost 30 minutes fir my order to be served to me in two parts. They served my food first and it was good and hot. The teas took longer, probably due to the fact that they forgot my order due to the fact that the girl at the counter was serving her little sister. I mean there were people that came in 20 minutes after we ordered that left out before us and this was after we had our food. I probably won't be back. read more

Rice bowls are soooo yummy! The Teriyaki chicken rice bowl is my personal favorite. We tried the popcorn chicken too. It was good but a little dry. Their boba teas are also a must-try! read more

Most disappointing bubble tea experience ever. Walked in, they weren't busy at all. They were working on someone's order so my sister and I were waiting. Someone walked in after us. We waited for about 5 minutes and the cashier finally made her way to help us but instead, she helped the guy who walked in after us first!!!! We let it slide and proceeded with our order. I got the honey dew green tea with passion fruit popping bubbles. It took 7 minutes to get our drinks and there was literally no one else before or after us!!! The drinks were incredibly sweet. I'm usually always amused when I get bubble tea and the bubbles are equally proportioned along with every sip I take. Here, the cups are a different size and shape and it didn't work out that way. Overall, very sad and disappointing experience. read more

Came here during the day and ordered the taro oreo milktea with Boba which I have been seeing in advertisements and had to try it. Oh boy it was good! I got the large size cause I have been craving bubble tea for weeks. Also ordered honey lemon black tea with aloe Vera (a go to) and an order of spam musubi (comes in 2). I think the musubi was good it just fell apart too easily. I would recommend it to be wrapped with seaweed completely that will allow it to be good finger food and stay all together. read more

To preface, I admit that I am more risk averse when it comes to COVID, but I stiil venture out in the world on a weekly basis. I generally don't like writing reviews that trend towards the negative, but I wanted to get my thoughts out. This place is part of a large chain of boba cafes, so they have very nice signage and have a polished feel. I have been regular at this prior to and post-COVID, but had been using Doordash since COVID broke out. I finally stopped back in a few weeks ago, and was surprised to see the overall feel was pretty much the same. I believe they took out some tables and they do have all the standard COVID signage. Most of the staff was wearing masks, but an older, long-haired Asian gentleman was no wearing any PPE. Also, I saw a ton of younger patrons that did not look to be related and were not social distancing. I don't blame the owners, but just an observation. To be fair, based on the layout, it is a bit hard to social distance. Moreover, due on the nature of the menu, newer patrons have tendency to stand near the front door to look over the options. On this visit, I ordered my usual egg puffs and popcorn chicken. I have been ordering egg puffs from this place since it opened, but on this visit, I notice the size of the puffs seemed to be significantly smaller and took much longer to make. Also, the burned the living hell out of one I had with flavoring, and still tried to serve it to me. To their credit, they did let me know there was an issue with it. They offered to make a new one, but just prior the aforementioned, unmasked employee, handed me my chicken without glove or a mask. For this reason and the fact that the place was getting some reasonable traffic, I chose not to wait. All things considered, I still like this place. They have a diverse menu and offer decent munchies, to boot. But if you are sensitive or get stressed out by people not social distancing, you may want to avoid stepping inside this place. Just my two cents. read more

I QUICKLY fell in love with the place! The interior is beautiful, modern, and clean. Their drinks are really good! I love their classic and taro milk tea, and their honey dew slush (must try). They also serve mochi waffles and egg puffs which you can get in different flavors. My absolute favorite though is their popcorn chicken. It's really yummy! Great place, food, and drinks. All you need is a great company to share the Quickly experience with. Highly recommended! Check it out Quickly!!! read more

My husband had told me about this place and so we tried it when the family was all together. The place was very well decorated and a good space to have. A good place for people to get together, people to study or just roam the internet. The bubble tea on the other hand was a little disappointing. It was not my favorite. With that being said they got some of our order wrong. I would say if you wanna go to a bubble tea place I would go somewhere else. There are other places to go. read more

The popcorn chicken and Okinawa milk tea are great! They have lots of cool flavors and different ways to prepare them (like slushies, milk teas, fruit teas etc). The mochi waffles are so fun! I love the texture of them but last time I went they didn't have many flavors left to pick from besides vanilla and chocolate. They have lots of board games/ card games to play too and they're open late! Overall a pretty cool spot! read more

My First Visit here and I will return to update this review. Large Boba order was huge like a small bucket. We ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl and my wife killed it. The popcorn chicken the kids loved along with the cheese sticks. I had the Musubi my problem with it was the SPAM was really thin and the amount of rice with it was alot, the seaweed didnt hold it together and the rice was plain not sushi rice. I will return and I did enjoy our visit. updated review soon . read more

I've been meaning to try this place since I'm a big fan of bubble tea. Upon entering you will notice a big menu with a variety of drinks and some food/snack items. So far, I have tried their taro bubble tea, nutella mochi waffle and popcorn chicken. Their taro bubble tea tasted delicious even though I don't think they use fresh taro. The size of their regular drink is big and their large drink definitely looks sharable. Their popcorn chicken is crispy with a hint of spiciness which was slight kick. The mochi waffle was so delicious and paired perfectly with the bubble tea. The interior space isn't too big and it's a little loud so probably not recommended to study or get work done. It's definitely a great hangout place or somewhere to get some delicious bubble tea and snack. This is probably one of my favorite places for bubble tea. read more

The food is pretty good and the drinks are awesome. Would have rated 5 stars based on this alone but my most recent visit was terrible. I work at a restaurant and completely understand how low staffed places are so usually this wouldn't be a huge deal but I'm a busy person and allowed for approximately 25 minutes for a trip to Quicklys, this however soon turned into a 45 minute visit and when I asked what was going on I was met with a hostile and rude employee responding with "I don't know what to tell you dude" This was completely out of line and unacceptable behavior on the part of the staff. read more

I've been here a few times now and I cannot say that this is my "go-to" spot for boba. I really like the space, but the tapioca bubbles were kind of hard the few times I went... There were many different flavors that they offered, however, their rose flavored (which is my favorite flavor to get at bubble tea places) boba did not taste like rose at all! Don't think I will be returning any time soon. read more

Probably one of my favorite Boba shops next to KungFuTea and Bambu. Huge menu to pick from and very cheap considering the other places start off at $6 already for a small cup. Their serving size is just enough (~700ml for a Regular and ~1L for a Large)! Very clean and friendly staff and is in the area with a growing Asian community. Thank you for finally bringing Quickly to Michigan! read more

I've been to both the Troy and Auburn Hills location. I unfortunately could only find pics from when I went to Auburn Hills, however, I had a great experience! The food was hot and delicious. I have a dairy allergy and was able to enjoy the chicken and spring rolls (other items as well that are not pictured but the chicken and spring roll are what I have pictures of). The bubble tea was refreshing and was the perfect amount of sweetness for my taste. I'm looking forward to their Ann Arbor location read more

This is our second time here. We had snacks the first time the mochi waffle ball thing and the popcorn chicken. The chicken was so good. I actually use to love this place. The tea is good but customer service is horrible. Multiple times my wife and I have came in and not been acknowledged. There were only 4 customers in the store and they all were sitting down. Instead of a worker acknowledging us they all just kept looking at us and going back to doing their own thing. Out of the 3 workers not one thought to say "we will be with you in just a moment" or at least "hi". As I stated before this was not the first or second time this has happened. After 5 minutes of waiting, my wife and I decided to leave and NEVER come back. read more

Food and drinks were good. Customer service sucks. I ordered through yelp for takeout. When i arrive for pickup, the young worker was busy helping a customer so i just waited. I am patient as i wait for her to finish.. but then when she was done, she went and chit chat with another worker and was drinking her drink and totally ignored me. After a few minutes, they're just talking to each other. Rude much, didnt even ask me if i have been helped or whatever. I finally got one of the girl's attention and told her I here for pickup and she gave me my order. I'd go back for food/drinks but if you're someone who wants good customer service, you're better off somewhere else. read more
