Just wanted to say that they're going above and beyond when it comes to sanitation for take-out orders given the current COVID19 outbreak. When you order take-out, they ask what car you'll be coming in, and when you arrive, they bring the food out to you. But not only that, they put the payment machine on this cart contraption that prevents them from having to touch it, AND they wrap it in a fresh cellophane wrap each time a new customer arrives, so that when you're typing in your debit PIN / entering a tip, you won't catch any potentially lingering germs. Exceptionally fresh and delicious sushi. The take out sushi was amazing. Our fav roll was the new york roll. The red bean ice cream was sensational. It seemed like it was possibly homemade ice cream, it was creamy, smooth, sweet with small chunks of red beans. It was the best red bean ice cream I have ever had. I chatted up the owner while she rolled my sushi right in front of me. She was friendly. She told me she has over 20 years of sushi restaurant experience. She has been open for 8 years and used to own a restaurant in Amherstburg. I ordered the salmon skin roll, but she said it takes 30 minutes to bake the salmon skin the oven to make it soft, so I will have to get that next time! The interior of this place has bar seating, not too good for preschoolers, but it does have a cool boat system with sushi plates floating around the bar. One tech savvy thing I like is that they offer an online ordering system. I will try online ordering next time, so I dont have to wait for the rolls to be made. read more

Bones in toro? Bones??? What was I doing ordering toro in a place like this anyway?? I couldn't help myself. I don't even think they were fish bones. Feline maybe. Whatever-- make no bones about it, this is probably some of the WORST fish on offer in Windsor. There wasn't anything redeeming about the rest of the place that made it worth a (re)visit. Quick sushi had been recommended to me a few times by people with local knowledge of the sushi scene. To start with, I review sushi places in one of two ways...either as a 'all you can eat' establishment when I am feeling glutinous or an 'a la cart' place when I desire quality over quantity. To be sure, there are all you can eat places that could rank well as a la cart restaurants...however this place is one that should perhaps relegate itself to being all you can eat rather than a la cart. This location is not without merit though. It is a quaint little place, styles after 'conveyor belt' style sushi locations where the food moves around the bar in little boats on color coded plates. It is the type of place that epitomizes the Japanese aura of sushi restaurants, but then delivers grocery store quality sushi. Well, good grocery store quality. That all said, it is a must visit for locals looking for a somewhat more authentic feeling restaurant, something that this place does a decent job of. I will also commend them on their miso soup. This is not meant to be a cruel joke as I know miso soup is a simple dish, but rather genuine compliment...it was very good! Final thought, if you are new to sushi or looking for that unique environment, then this is the place for you and it would be worth visiting. One of the best sushi places in Windsor for sure. Came with a friend initially back when I was a student upon her recommendation, and definitely went back multiple times afterwards! Usually came during the day when it wasn't as busy, as the restaurant is quite small. However, it gives you a nice intimate feeling as you can see the owner or chefs rolling your sushi in front of you. They also have the conveyor belt with little boats on it, tugging along different rolls of sushi on plates. They are all color coordinated to show you the price. Always made fresh as well, since they only stayed on the belt for a little while. Everything was always really fresh and made from what the chef recommended. Always really fun to come and just pick up something as it came around. This can be a good or bad thing, depending on what you like or dislike to eat generally. Service was always top-notch, as the owner is extremely friendly and always made time to chat with you and see if you were enjoying everything. Again, with a smaller space inside, she definitely made everyone feel very welcome! Absolutely a recommended spot for me! read more

Delicious eel and really spicy volcano roll! The avocado roll was fresh too. There is not too much rice in the rolls and you have your choice of sauces for dipping. They were unfortunately out of salmon skin but I'm sure it would've tasted good too. This is really a hidden gem for sushi lovers. Husband loved it. Me not so much really tiny place and the little sushi boats were cute but how long were those rolls floating around for? Considering the place had only is in there and one other couple who left when we arrived. I had custom sushi rolls made since almost every roll had avacado in it. I am not a fan of avacado. My husband and I just found out about this place about a month ago and we're so glad we did! We went to the Quicksushi in Windsor. It's not a very romantic place but more of a casual, family dine-in restaurant which is perfect for us. The food was excellent and you can talk to the chefs as you eat because they make the sushi right in front of you. We had some sushi off the boats that float on water and we also ordered off the menu to try some of their dragon rolls that were delicious! They service was also great! The chef asked us time to time if everything was okay and when we needed more ginger or wasabi or napkins, the chef gave it to us right way. Quick and excellent service! I used to come here all the time - that was before the all you can eat places rolled into town with decent sushi for lower prices. I still do like the sushi boats, and if you aren't a sushi eater with a HUGE appetite - this is a good, and fun place to come so you get to see what you are about to eat, and 2 pieces of a roll is less of a commitment then a whole roll - so you get more selection. I brought my mother in law here for lunch, she likes sushi - but isn't always sure what to order. She really liked that she could look at each thing as it floated by before she decided to pick it up. Some of the prices are high, $4-$5 for a plate with a couple pieces is a little steep... so we just avoided those coloured plates. We stuck with all the plates under $3. We had our fill, enjoyed our meal - drank lots of tea and at the end, paid about the same price you would at an all you can eat. (But only ate half as much - being lunch it was ok, and we had variety so alright). Could I bring my husband here? Probably not - he'd ring the bill up nice and high lol. It might be a good place to try with a child or friend who wants to 'try' sushi... low commitment on the pricing. The rolls were fresh, and continuously added. The Tempura, dumplings and anything hot was sent out steaming and scooped up quick. Still a fun restaurant. read more

Overall the rolls were "okay". The rolls they had were very different and creative, including one that had beef and pickles inside. The sushi chef was extremely courteous and talkative. Overall, I'd say for sushi in Windsor, this is probably one of the better ones because there aren't very many good options. Very fairly priced rolls. I eat here about once a week. Love that most of the rolls are cut into small, bite size pieces. Many good specialty rolls. I especially love the volcano roll!!! My kids love sushi from here as well read more
