A truly enjoyable experience with large portions, very reasonable prices, and attentive service. The space is bright and airy without being overly sterile. The restroom was clean and tidy. We started with the Tuna Tataki as an appetizer and it was plenty for two people. My Kona Bento Deluxe was one of the best I've had, and my friend's chicken katsu was beautifully golden with its signature flavorful dipping sauce and a generous portion of rice. Both entrees came with miso soup. We completed our meal with the banana tempura, served warm and crispy with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. So good! Went in for dinner tonight, as I was staying in a nearby hotel. It was about 730-I got scared and almost left when I drove up because there was not a single person in the restaurant nor was there a single car in the parking lot. That is typically not a good sign. I walked in and was warmly greeted by the staff. Service was excellent. The sushi was good, the portion sizes were good. I'm torn on this restaurant. It could be excellent but it's lacking in a few areas. It's decently decorated, but very cold in the restaurant... I should also mention that the place was very clean and so was the bathroom. Moving along, our waiter was very nice and kind of attentive however it seemed like he was the only person working in the restaurant. I watched him take orders and make food and that's challenging to do both. So I ordered Shrimp Tempura, Las Vegas Rolls and some sort of Salmon rolls which came to about 32 dollars. The Tempura tasted like nothing but bland batter and the Sushi was subpar, and that's being nice. Although it was aesthetically pleasing... To me it all was flavorless and lacking. This location is a sister store to the Dearborn location and they have the same menu. I'm not familiar enough with the prices to say if they're the same but they are definitely similar -- rolls were anywhere from $4 - $18, depending on how complicated they were. It's an open space in a strip mall but at least they have booths. It would be nice if there was more separation between the booths or even rugs to help dampen the sound from other tables. Even on a quiet Friday night, we heard everything another table 20' away from us was talking about because there is no separation. Service was friendly but slow for our eat-in endeavor. It seems take-out is the bread and butter of this place, as the employees were constantly greeting people who came in for pickups, packing orders, plugging in orders from online systems, etc. A little more dedicated service/attention to dine-in patrons would have gone a long way. Once we ordered, the food came up quickly. I'm allergic to shellfish and asked for my rolls on their own dish, which was honored. I asked for a side of eel sauce and it came out as requested. The rolls seemed fresh and tasty, no complaints at all about the food. My biggest gripe was ambiance (or lack thereof) and service was just okay. Again, friendly... but just okay. The music that was playing when we got there abruptly stopped at some point and it was just us and the ringing of the front door from people coming to pick up their takeout orders. read more

This was REALLY good food, I ordered the Udon noodles, sushi and dumplings and everything was phenomenal, the noodles came out boiling still so it took about 20 minutes to finally eat it because of how hot they were, the sushi boat was delicious, we needed a restaurant like this by my house and the service here is outstanding everyone here is very nice, if you are looking for really good sushi and noodles this is your place if your close to Taylor. read more

Decided to come here for date night with my girlfriend and it was AMAZING! The hostess was so nice and welcoming. We ordered two standard, and two special rolls. The physical size of the sushi pieces were huge and all they were all delicious. They even presented our rolls in a sushi boat! The presentation and garnishes added such a pleasant touch. The chef even surprised us with a special appetizer and incredible dessert platter on the house. Thank you for a great date night. We will definitely be coming back! read more

Told her lady thousands of meals and you a first, I find this hilarious . Owner was in house made a special two pc Sushi treat Yummy . She had those great Chicken Panko Tenders and Beef filled Dumplings. I had my very first Bibimap Bowl. My daughter and I found this place earlier in the week and I have to say we were pleasantly surprised in every way. We both did one of the "sushi sets" which included a tuna roll and a number of pieces of nigiri (based on which one you ordered). Everything was very good, very fresh and generous portions. I also have to say that the cost was very reasonable for the size of the portions and quality. The service was very efficient and friendly. It's in a strip mall, but despite that the restaurant is very clean and open inside with a good spacing between the tables. The only negative is that if you sit on the west side of the building the sun in the late afternoon is quite warm - maybe a thicker blind would help. read more
