This place is fantastic! I was referred here from my mechanic to get all my needs taken care of in a one stop shop. Over the phone he reassured will do a scan and no charge if it's not going to pass and still unrightfully acted like doing work to charge anyway. You may not see all my negative points if your car passes easily, but once you get into a conflict with someone like, you either pay for nothing and go or refuse to pay because he didn't meet with his agreement based on his own word then you may experience all these negative issues. Went here on a whim because of a Groupon I had purchased. Showed up for a smog check without an appointment. The wait was less than 10 minutes. I was in and out within 20 minutes. The gentleman that conducted the smog check was more than happy to explain the process and provided us with a space to sit down while we waited. The best in Glendale! I went in for a smog check at 8am on a Thursday right when they opened. No appointment needed. Since I'm new to the state and trying to register my out-of-state vehicle, I knew that getting smog checked was all part of the registration process, and that I'd be making a dreaded trip to the DMV afterward. But what I didn't know was that Quick Smog is licensed to provide new registrations. I filled out some paperwork, presented my vehicle title which I was thankfully carrying with me and was in-and-out in a matter of 40 minutes with not just a smog check but a new license plate and CA vehicle registration! OMG!! What great service. I got sent over here by Glendale BMW because my car's stupid OBDII monitor wouldn't "complete". Sergio checked my monitors for free then gave me some advice on accomplishing the drive cycle. After an annoying day of trying to find an empty freeway in LA I returned right before closing and Sergio graciously re checked my monitors and voila! the monitor was ready to test. Quick smog is a great place. First of all lets start with the price which is excellent. Second of all serouj the owner and technician is great. He is very friendly and funny as well. They have a small waiting room with a TV in there. He has a small fridge for his customers to enjoy some beverages intill he is done with your smog. I havent seen that at any smog shops. The most convenient part is that he does dmv registration. To me i rather pay $20 then go stand at dmv for hours. Overall a very good experience. I called same day, he gave me an exact price ($40 total) and an estimated waiting time (1 hour) that was also spot on.
