I needed to get a smog check asap and Glendale Smog Center replied almost immediately. I was able to get same day service at an amazing price! Albrik was super nice and welcoming, servicing my car quick and sufficently. I was in and out of there probably within 10-15 minutes. I received a receipt and everything. I definitely recommend coming here for your smog check if you're in the area. read more

Open DMV envelope... Yeah, it's probably time to renew... WHAT?! NO! NO! I gotta get this thing smog tested??? Damn California rules!! OK it's not that bad, especially if you go to the Glendale Smog Center. It is Saturday afternoon, I cruise over, Albert walks up and starts the test immediately. As in, within 60 seconds of me pulling up. You can sit inside and wait, but the whole thing only takes about 10 minutes. 60 bucks cash, sign the receipt, and Albert reports the results to the DMV. Great guy, great place, I cannot imagine smog checks going any faster or smoother. Thanks Albert! read more

Straight-forward pricing (cash discount, thank you!), quick service, and kind energy. Was offered water while I waited, and even got my car maneuvered out of a tight spot without having to ask. A lot of these places will confront you at the end about leaving a review in exchange for discount - and I am leaving this review specifically because that did *not* happen here. I'll be back! Thanks Albrik. read more

Glendale Smog Center was quick, convenient, and easy from start to finish. The location was convenient, the service was efficient, and I was able to get my smog check taken care of without a long wait. I've had a great time going here. Went to get a smog check for my boyfriend's car during a last minute trip on a Saturday afternoon, and then came back for mine because the guy running the place was so nice and quick and efficient to let me come and do my smog check (even before he was going to leave to run to a meeting)! No fuss, no frills. Fair price and I paid cash to get rid of any extra fees. $60 out the door. Less than 15 minutes. Highly recommend. Will come back again. Thank you! read more

Found my new Smog Guy for years to come, period. Albert gave me the best experience that honestly puts everyone else to shame. A guy with integrity and honesty, running a shop with straight-forward and very affordable prices (unlike other smog places), and extremely courteous and helpful and professional towards you no matter what the smog results are. I saw how friendly he was with the person before me and how easy and effortless everything was beforehand. First time I actually had an enjoyable smog experience. Albert, keep up the amazing service and attitude and business. It makes a difference to us all. THANK YOU!! read more

Smog check. Nice, quick, reassuring! This is the second time I've gone there. My go to!

Smog check went smoothly. Quick and fast service. Paid via Zelle. No issues. It probably took 10 minutes tops.

Still super fast, very polite, and great price for Star smog check. Be sure to pay in cash and get the Yelp discount!

So fast & easy! Smog check done in 5 mins. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area

I got my notification that my car needed a smog check and well, to me its not the best feeling in the world. So I jumped on Yelp's quote finder to find me a technician. Glendale Smog Center was the quickest to answer and Albrik was extremely helpful and responsive to all my inquiries. I set an appointment for the following day and he was more than accommodating. Arriving at the shop, Albrik was the one who assisted me and greeted me with a warm handshake and smile. He got to work right away and explained that he took either cash, electronic payment (Zelle, Cashapp, etc.) and CC. The service didn't take long and was done in about 15-20 minutes from when I first drove in. All in all it cost me $60. For me, my car is important and having not to wait and having it done quickly was equally important. Albrik checked off all those boxes. Seeing that I live in the area, it would be hard not to return to him moving forward. Thanks so much! read more

First time having to get a smog check and Albert made it so easy. He answers the phone quickly. Yesterday he told me there was a long line so I came this morning and this was so simple and next time I need a smog check I will definitely be back here. Whole process was 10-15 minutes and Albert was super friendly. Even AAA is down the street so you can pay your registration all the same day. Highly recommend Glendale Smog Center. Just look for Burger King and it's across the street. By the time I got to AAA my smog certification was already in the system besides the paper he gave me. Doesn't get any easier! read more

From the second I had a seat in the waiting area my car was tested and ready in 10 minutes. The worker was very kind and professional. I highly recommend this business and I'll definitely come back the next time I need a smog check. read more

I didn't catch the technician's name but the smog test result sheet says "Albrik" and i hope he wasn't logged in with a coworker's user ID or something, because he was awesome! I first went to a Smog shop on Mountain St. and Verdugo Rd. in Glendale and the tech there was trying to feed me some BS. Well, Albrik at Glendale Smog Center knew what he was looking at and is an absolute professional. I was in and out of there in about 20 minutes with a PASS result! read more

Needed to take the car for a smog check, called and they said they close at 4:00 pm that specific day, but that they would wait until I got there which they were true to their word. The service took maybe less than 15 minutes and couldn't have been happier and they were very affordable as well. Definitely would recommend. read more

Fair price. Quick service. Very pleased. Will be back with my other car when smog test due. Highly recommended.

Friendly and quick service. There was one car in the bay when I arrived, but i was greeted as soon as i drove in, and only had to wait a few minutes until it was my turn. the driveway is pretty small and seems to share a lot with the business next door, but there's still room for 1-2 cars to pull in and out of the street. the employee and i had corresponded earlier via yelp message when i asked to make an appointment/come in at a convenient date and time, and i seem to have gotten a Yelp discount. i believe i saw a sign that there was a cash discount (i'm guessing because there's no credit card fee.) he was knowledgable and talked through the process of registering my license and how the smog check would be sent electronically to the DMV. overall, quick and convenient. read more

Truly, the fastest smog check I have ever had performed out of maybe a dozen. It wasn't the cheapest, but it was consistent with what others charge in the Glendale area, and it was more important for me to get the test done quickly rather than drive out to the valley to save 10 bucks or more. Staff was polite, and now I don't have to send anything to the DMV because that was all done for me in less than 10 minutes. Will probably come again the next time I have to have a smog check performed. read more

Amazing service - Albrik is so nice! & it was done so quickly - it was over before I could check my emails. Thank you!

I reached out on Memorial Day and was pleasantly surprised to learn they were open! No appointment needed -- I showed up around 10 in the morning and they got started right after the customer ahead of me. Highly recommend checking pricing on Yelp and mentioning you found them there -- that seemed to help with getting a discount. Pricing was shared up front with no hassle. Just be sure to mention Yelp and the quoted rate when you arrive so the staff knows. Friendly, fast, and efficient. The smog check took about 15 minutes. Easy to find at the corner of Colorado and Chevy Chase. The parking lot is tiny and a bit tight, but manageable. Quick, affordable, and solid service -- I'll definitely be back. read more

Great smog check, Albert is a good man. Reasonable price and good service. I searched the nearby smog check and found this one.

Was in and out within 10 minutes and only paid $60 cash! Albert was extremely helpful and quick! Will be back for my next smog!

I called in on Friday around noon and requested to come in at 2 PM. Albrik told me that was fine and that he would take care of me. When I arrived it seemed like a busy day and he was running around on his own taking care of all the cars. He was so kind and apologized profusely for making me wait, even though it was only about 15 minutes. He got the smoke check done quickly and efficiently and with a smile as well.
