Buyer beware. This place has new ownership and has went from an outstanding service location to a very QUESTIONABLE establishment. I went in for an oil change and was considering purchasing tires. I asked the service associate and was provided a cost estimate for two tires. I informed the associate that I had Ford Pass Rewards that I wanted to use. She looked in the system and told me I had enough rewards to pay for the oil change and the two tired. I was astonished and asked her to check again and she said it was correct after discussing it with a coworker. I agreed to purchase the tires along with the oil change and left my car there. Two hours later I was notified that my car was ready. When I arrived I was told by the associate that she had miscalculated my Ford PassRewards value and that her supervisor would explain. The Supervisor told me that the associate had made a major mistake and that my bill was going to be $789. I told him my decision to purchase the tires was based on the original verbal estimate she had given me. I told him I didn't want the tires at that price. He tried to get me to apply for a credit card to pay for the cost and I declined. I hav the money to pay but didn't want the tires. I said put my old tires on and I would pay for the oil change. Thomas the supervisor said I could not have my old tires back and pressured me to pay for the tires. I refused and told him I wanted my old tires back and would only be paying for the oil change because I had been duped about the value of the Ford Pass Points. After awhile Thomas reluctantly agreed. I got my car back with NO EXPLANATION OR APOLOGY for the situation that the poorly informed associate created. I wasn't satisfied with the lack of clarity and couldn't help wondering if I wasn't the victim of a poorly executed bait and switch scam. I asked for the name of Thomas's supervisor and went to the main office at Kendall Ford to speak with Jorge. Jorge seemed uninterested and distracted. He didn't ask questions or offer explanations. He just wanted me to leave. No help no concern if anything he didn't seem to think there was a problem which likely explains the poor communication and customer service in the Quick Lane he oversees. I asked to speak to the manager and was able to my experience with the Genery Manager Derek. Derek was wonderful. He listened, took notes and was completely flabbergasted that this had happened. He couldn't explain why Alex had provided inaccurate information and that Thomas had denied my request to put my old tires back on the vehicle while pressuring me to pay for the tires. He seemed disappointed that Jorge took no action to resolve an issue under his management. He apologized for what he deemed a complete failure by his subordinates and offered me discounts on future service. I respectfully declined because I really felt that this kind of bait and switch activity might be more prevalent than he was aware of. Derek listened and promised action. I cannot recommend this organization to anyone and wonder how many people have been scammed by these crooks and their accomplices. Good Luck Derek you have your hands full with that bunch. It was amazing that when declined, the car still runs great...but don't want to get on the DH bashing band wagon. They have always been very honest, quick, and have done a great job. Beware this place does not care about you. They charge full "book" labor hours no matter how long it takes. I just had an alternator replaced. It is right on top of the motor and they called me saying it was done in 1.5 hours. They charged me for 2.4 hours labor because that's what the "book" says. They absolutely did not care when I questioned it. They just said "That's how all mechanics do it." That is not true and I will not be back. I will also tell everyone I know to stay away. read more

I arrived at 4:45 pm in hopes of buying some wipers. Everything was dark inside. I approached the door and a guy came out and rudely said "we're already shut down!" I've been here before and have only had pleasant and prompt service. However, my most recent experience requires me to share it publicly. I recently had to have a tire unexpectedly replaced on my Ford Fiesta due to discovering a deep gash on the sidewall of one of my tires. Unfortunately, the particular size I needed isn't regularly stocked at most tire repair stops. With much of Vancouver Ford directing regular maintenance to Quick Lane, I decided to give them a call on my way home from work (5PM) on a Monday as they are closed on Sundays when I had notice the gash. Fortunately, they have plenty of my tire sizes in stock, on sale, AND they informed me that as long as I arrived before they closed (6PM) they could get me in the same day. I arrived, and Devin, the same person I spoke with on the phone quickly took my information and my tire was changed within 10 MINUTES. I was back home by 6PM, stopping here only being a minor detour. They absolutely when above and beyond to provide high quality and prompt service that I was not expecting. Furthermore, the price I ended up paying was ~$10 cheaper than what he had originally quoted me on the phone. All in all, they made such an inconvenient event turn into a more pleasant experience. Man, there are some BAD reviews about this place! I don't immediately go home to check my oil after it has been changed. Now I'm thinking maybe I should. I assumed Ford's chosen lube station would be proper, but who knows now given the reviews. I've been here twice and haven't had an issue. They wash my car after changing the oil and topping off all fluids. They even provide you with a report card of their multi-point inspection process. The wait has been extremely long for me on both occasions. The first time I showed up around 4pm. My fault. The second time I was there when they opened and there were 6 cars ahead of me. I got a flat tire 2 days ago and here yesterday to buy a new tire. The guy on the phone gave me a great out the door price. Service was good, and it was quick. Went home, had to go to bed early because I am working early the next day. WOKE UP TODAY, SAME TIRE they replaced FLAT. I guess they didn't take the time to test their install if it had leaks. My wife was late for work, it was such an inconvenience. I now have to Jack the car up again, put the spare tire on and go back there. So I went there, and they took car end it. Overall always had a good experience here except for one time where the dealership I leased the car from forgot to put my maintenance package in the system but after that was resolved I've had no problems. I've always experienced quick and friendly service and straight to the point, however one time after having my car in for an oil change I noticed there was a scratch nearby where the hood comes down to meet the front bumper. It was most likely from a tool being left there/forgotten when the hood was attempted to be shut. It couldn't have been me since the car is a lease and I wouldn't touch anything under the hood except the windshield washer fluid reservoir. Overall great place to to get your maintenance done, I even noticed the smiley face on the sticker they put letting you know when to bring your car back in. Was out with my kids today when all of a sudden I started getting the low tire pressure alert. I was close to the dealership so I stopped in at the Quick Lane. Eric, Devin & Simon took the truck back right away and found I had a nail in my tire. They repaired it and we were on our way. The best part about this was that it didn't cost me anything! I was prepared to spend $50 but it ended up being free. I bought the truck from the Ford dealer almost 2 yeas ago. Whats more important speed or trust? I own a 2008 Mustang GT that I've been taking to QuickLane for over 5 years since 2008 and have had two problems. Once they forgot to tell me about a nail stuck in my rear tire - which they ended up giving me a free oil change to make up for the mistake. On another repair they replaced the timing belt for my wifes VW which broke and ended up damaging the valves, the head, and the timing belt of course. Once we had our car towed back I was really worried what they were going to do. Aaron the shop manager had our car completely repaired, the timing belt including all the damage caused to the head and valves when the first one failed. I will continue to go to Quick Lane even if some of the people here are complaining about the speed of service - I think they're busy for a reason! Aaron the shop manager and the guys at Quick Lane have always gone out of their way to make sure any car problems we've had are taken care of. It's great to have a trustworthy shop that stands behind their repairs and will do what it takes to make you happy! read more

After calling several local shops to see if I could get my car in for an oil change, I was frustrated. Everyone was booked through early next week. Quick Lane said to bring it in before 5:30 today and they could fit me in with no problem. I got there at 4:15 and was back on the road within a half hour. The oil change included a tire rotation and cost less than $40. They also gave me a card for a free car wash once the rain lets up. The service was professional and the interior of the shop was clean. They have a seating area with a movie playing and a small area with coffee and water while you wait. This review is for my recent visit to Quick Lane. In the past, service has been average at best but still faster than Vancouver Toyota which is agonizingly slow. Upon arrive, I was running behind and asked what the wait would be for an oil change and a tire rotation. The service agent quoted 45 minutes to an hour. I said "45 minutes would be fine" 18 minutes later, my car was finished. I was amazed. In addition, they gave me a coupon for a free car wash so that I could bring my car back at my convenience. I would guess that Quick Lane has taken notice of the bad reviews and have turned things around. It is worth giving them another chance. read more

Quick Lane is a franchise operation. In this case it's owned by Vancouver Ford. My daughter too her car in for an oil change. During the inspection they told her that her tires were bad and that belt material was showing. She refused to buy tires but had the oil change done. 2 days later I notice an oil spot on our driveway and suggested she check the car. She did and notice leakage. She normally has the work done at Mike's Auto on 117th so she stop by there. They told her that one oil seal was missing and the other cracked. They had to replace the new filter and both seals. She went back to the QL and spoke to the manager who refused to reimburse her and said that the oil filter cover was "spinning" when she brought it in. Over the next 4 weeks she make multiple trips back to QL and provided documentation showing the error was theirs. She ended up going to the customer service manager at Vancouver Ford and they agreed to the refund (but it took 2 weeks to get their check). She took the car to Les Schwab to have the tires checked and they said that while the tread was wearing there were no visible belts as described at QL. Based on this experience we suggest that you stay away from this business. read more

Today I discovered a crazy huge screw in my front driver side tire. I work in Vancouver but my dealer is in Tigard where I bought my tires so I frantically called them to find out how to get this taken care of. THANK GOD I bought the road hazard insurance. Called over to the nearest Ford dealer and they were like yep, bring it in we can take care of it! Devin at Quick Lane looked up my case and took care of my car. I asked if they could have it done when I needed it done and if they could deliver me back to work. Of course! The shuttle only runs on the hour but I need to be back to work by 2pm? Just moved here from California where quick lane is Ford so maybe that is where I went wrong wanted to use my Ford advantage money I had and he said that is Ford I said isn't this Ford? We are quick lane yes we are Ford but quick lane. I won't do that again. They also charged me $45 to clean the battery terminals and put some pads on the terminals. Estimated $23. Then charged me $23.50 for labor when they all ready were doing the oil change. No that is a rip off. read more

They gave me a first time discount - with was great. I waited 1.5 hours for an oil change/tire rotation at "Quick Lane". Not so quick. But since it was "Ford Dealer" quality, I settled for the slowness. In a hurry, I jumped in the truck and went home - without checking it over (my bad). Got home & found oil footprints on the floor mats (despite their paper protector), oily handprints all over the drivers door, all over the grill. Obviously not wearing gloves & being careful. Then, I wondered what the service was like... So I popped the hood, checked the oil. It was still black. I've changed oil on my 2003 F350 7.3L myself for 5 years until I bought a new truck. It's always dark brown - not black - after the change. Under the truck, it looked like an oil filter bomb went off. There was oil everywhere. Down the frame rails; on trans lines; & back three feet. I surmise that the mech was in a hurry, plugged it back up before it was done draining. Dark brown oil after an oil change - ok. Black oil after oil change - not ok. Called & complained. They said they'd wash my truck for me & there was no way that the oil wasn't "changed". I declined the wash because last time they gave it a "free wash", the truck came out covered in water spots & wasn't even clean. Sorry, but I expect Ford to treat a $60k truck like I would. At least wipe off your mess. The black oil thing - I'll find out next time when I do it myself. 13-15 quarts of new oil + maybe 2 quarts of residual shouldn't be black. I've changed diesel truck oil at least 10 times so I won't be duped about what it should look like. I initially thought I'd start taking all my cars there because they were reasonably priced & friendly. But nice doesn't make up for lack of quality care on a critical daily investment. I won't be back. Maybe I just got the wrong mechanic working on my truck there. Now I wonder if the lug nuts were even tightened to specs.... read more

first oil change of the day .. and it taked them 1 hr and 20 minutes .. they didn't have the oil filter for my car .. they ordered it and waited for the delivery. it happens .. i know .. i would have rather been asked if i wanted to wait for 1.5 hrs or came back at a later time when the filter would have been delivered .. there are many MANY other places for oil changes around here .. these guys need to figure out how to improve their customer service .. no way will i have them work on my car. should have read the yelp reviews first read more

Just came back form a trip out of town and had a blow out on the freeway. Tow truck driver took my car to Schwabs, and that was a waste of time! They tried to force me into buying four tires and a brakes job, but wouldn't let me see my 'worn' brakes. I had AAA tow it out of there and over to this quick lane and got the royal treatment! Really great service for sure, and I ended up buing the four tires, but at a better price and they were nice enough to show me my brakes were not needing to be replaced. Wow, so I dropped my car off to be detailed at Quick Lane, this morning for a detail. I dropped my car at 7am and told them I wanted it detailed. Two hours later, I was called and told that details are now only scheduled by appointment. They didn't give me this information when I checked my car in and they didn't give it to me two days ago when I went by there specifically to ask them if I needed an appointment to get my car detailed. WHO DOES THAT? Now I have a car that still needs to be detailed by today and no hope of finding someone who's available to do that TOMORROW MORNING before I head out of town. I went in for snow tires on Monday. They thought they had some in stock but were the wrong size for my car. Not a problem. They told said they could order some from a warehouse in Seattle on Tuesday and would be there Wednesday. Not true. The tires didn't come in Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. I work nights, so Friday I called to say I would not be in until Saturday to have them put on. "Eric" had promised the tires would be in Thursday when they had not come in on Wednesday. The place never called me to tell me the tires weren't in, so when I showed up Saturday morning I was told "We don't have them and can't call the warehouse to see where they are." The only contact made with them was by me. They never called. Not even when I called see about the tires arrival on Wednesday and "Eric" was supposed to call me back after his lunch break. "Eric" never called me back. I had to call them back. Convenient for them but not for me. The forecast is correct it's snowing today. read more
