my fiance brought my car in because it was misfiring in cylinder 3, they said they would diagnose it for us. we dropped it off an hour later or so we get a call saying "it's too much of a project for them" and that they refuse to do anything with it, claiming my cars busted basically everywhere and has a vacuum leak (or multiple) we tried to get info out of him and he just said "idk i didn't fully take it apart but it has a vacuum leak somewhere messing with its air/fuel mixture". so we leave and take it to the toyota dealership. everything that could possibly be a vacuum leak like they were claiming it was passed with flying colors. absolutely no vacuum leak whatsoever and were told there is no reason our car should be "too much of a project" for any shop. if we could give this shop more than 0 stars we 100% would. worst shop we have ever been to and will definitely never come back and let everyone we know to never go there! read more

What I most appreciate about how these guys do business is there honesty and forthrightness. Cost was communicated up front. When they learned they couldn't deal with the issue, they recommended I take it to the Audi dealer. Thankfully the issue was under warranty, so Audi fixed it for free. read more

Well, I have finally found an honest and hard working mechanic here at Import Auto. Paul is the owner and mechanic for my Mercedes. I have never had a problem getting my car in and getting it back promptly. He greets you with his kindness and gentle humor. My car needed Service A 236 days ago - because of Covid I had not driven it much in over a year. He said don't worry bring it in when you need your oil changed, thus 236 days! Services done and no additional problems was what I heard him say- music to my ears. We all need a mechanic, so to find this place has been a treasure and relief. They took care of my car in a pinch and do pretty good work on your import. They seem to be knowledgeable and run an honest shop, but they don't reply to quotes messaged through their online website. Why have a query form if you're not going to respond to it? I've sent a couple of requests for quotes on some further repair and maintenance work and never heard back both times so I'm taking my business elsewhere. My 1998 Toyota RAV4 had an electrical problem that caused all the gauges to stop working. Kudos: to the car mechanic in Beaverton. If anyone needs fixing, especially if u have a European car (not sure if he does American or Japanese but he for sure does European) Import Auto in Beaverton was excellent! The shop owners name is Michael and he diagnosed my car problem for free (engine was misfiring and stuttering/sputtering) and then surprisingly was able to turn it around in 24 hours, this was all in a emergency walk in type deal. Replaced all 5 spark plugs and he offers a 10% cash discount --I always hate getting car repairs cuz I'm afraid it's gonna be like 500$+ bare minimum but this one ended up 240$! He was communicative and called me w updates about the car multiple times which I appreciate and explained things to me, so professional and caring! I was charged $34 for a diagnostic that I never received any kind of details of what was found other than what I had already mentioned.

I went today to go look at a BMW they had for sale. It looked very nice at first. They claimed the car had never been in an accident, and touted a clean car fax report, but upon inspection it absolutely was, a front-end accident, and the car was repainted. You can see accident damage from under the hood by the radiator, broken plastic shroud, and can see clues of the repaint job all over the car. When I asked, they said I was wrong. Do your homework and look the car over really well, always! Remember not all accidents have been reported. read more
