First, scheduling online is easy and they text you confirmations and reminders. They also respond to texts quickly and efficiently. Note that you will likely need to drop off your vehicle as they are very busy - another good sign! - and though I needed to leave my Subaru overnight, the repairs were done in a reasonable amount of time for the services required. What I also like is their system of 'needs attention, could wait, and doesn't need work' that is color-coded on their estimate sheet by Red, Yellow, and Green; as well the costs for the repairs are clear on that sheet. You can then decide what you want done, approve it, and they will begin the work on your car. My estimate is just what I paid, so zero surprises. Immediately walking in to their shop office, I was greeted cheerily and nicely by Coy--I felt comfortable and relaxed. Picking up my car, I was greeted by an owner, who was equally as cheerful and nice. My car was waiting for me right out front when I exited the office - everything was clean just as I'd left it. The prices differ depending on what brands and if the car is modified or not. The Acura was $130, the BMW was $200. Sucks that German cars cost more but, anyone with one expects that. The after hours drop off and pick up is seamless and really easy, which I appreciated. They charged $300 to diagnose, which seemed high, but I didn't want to tow my car to another shop, so I accepted that. They got my car back to me five days later, and the alternator worked great but a dash light had come on for a bulb which was not burned out. I replaced the bulb but the light persisted. I asked the shop about looking at it, and I was advised well, we'll run some tests, which sounded to me like another $300 diagnosis. So, the alternator repair was good, but now I have a permanent dash light on until I can find a shop to take it to. All in all, I'd say they are an OK shop.

But unfortunately, this repair experience has convinced me I should never go to him again, and i will be recommending that others stay clear as well. I had a Kia Niro that needed an engine replacement. The Kia dealership gave me a quote, but i decided to ask Eric for a quote as well because i trusted him more to do the job. I paid him $7500 for the job and towed him the car. He asked me to pay in advance because he was having trouble paying his taxes. The job took several months, during which Eric didn't give any updates on the repair and wouldn't respond to any of my communication. When he finally responded after many attempts to get in touch, he told me there was a problem with the battery and only Kia could service it, so we got it towed back to Kia. He also gave excuses for why it took so long to repair, saying he had to close his shop because some of the workers got covid. I came out and used my own AAA service to tow the car to the kia dealership. Kia looked at it and found that there was no problem with the battery, but the problem was the engine was installed incorrectly. I was playing middle man calling the kia dealership, then Eric, back and forth, and eventually gave Eric the dealership's number and he said he would work with them to figure out what was wrong with the car. I heard nothing back from Eric for months. Eventually, Kia called me and said they were impounding my car. I dropped everything and got it towed back to Eric immediately. Still nothing. I went to his shop a few days later with an invoice for him to pay for the tow, which he partially paid with cash. No apology, anything. He just wanted me out of there. He told me it would take a week or so and he wouldn't charge me. Another month went by, i heard nothing from him at all. I showed up at his shop and asked for an update on my car. He said some of his workers were on vacation, and another was in a motorcycle accident. The repair hadn't been started on. He said it would take another 3-4 days. He also offered me a loaner car, which he never delivered on. Over the next weeks i reached out multiple times, only for him to ignore all of my communication. As of today, it appears no repairs have begun. This entire process has so far taken over 6 months. Multiple people have advised me to sue, maybe i still should i guess- but that's not really in my character. There have been no apologies at any point, and it has been near impossible for me to figure out what's even going on without driving almost an hour to his shop, borrowing my wife's car when she's not using it. Eric is a nice guy, and a good mechanic. But over the last six months he has made it abundantly clear that i was his very last priority, and he didn't care at all about the substandard work, numerous delays, or the ordeals i went through as a customer. I feel very disrespected by a man that i trusted and respected for many years.
