Came here for tires to be installed on my new car with wheels that have 5,000 miles on them. Original tires on the wheels from the factory. They damaged every wheel. Every wheel has these gouge dots that are deep in the aluminum. They also didn't remove the factory wheel weight adhesive and lazily stuck new weights on the old adhesive. In conclusion they damaged every single wheel and did a lazy job. Very sad work. read more

We were extremely impressed with the service at this shop! We ended up there randomly because our Ford Explorer died within walking distance of the shop. When our mobile mechanic was unable to diagnose the problem they agreed to take on the repair. They loaned us their car pusher to move the Explorer from the Walmart parking lot where the SUV had come to rest. They were genuinely interested in the puzzle of the problem. The shop manager even purchased the needed part after hours to have it ready for the next day. The price was reasonable and the repair was quick. We have found a new repair shop! read more

I've never dealt with a mechanic shop so lacking in morals, honesty, or basic human decency! From the moment I walked in, it felt like they were more interested in squeezing every penny out of me than actually fixing my car. They lied about the repairs needed, grossly overcharged me, and showed zero kindness or respect when I questioned them. Overall, Richey's Point S is an excellent place to get a wheel alignment. Service is very friendly and prompt, and prices are reasonable. I also especially appreciate the detailed, two-page, full-color printout showing the pre-alignment and post-alignment values. It was also fun being able to play an original. vintage Pac-Man machine in the sales office while my car was being worked on. The only thing keeping Richey's from earning five stars is the layout of the building and the shop. Checking in for service requires customers to walk into and through the work area, easily getting into the way of the mechanics and technicians working there. One must also keep a good eye on their path as there are many trip and fall hazards. Also unexpected was a very large dog behind the counter in the sales office, and for those with animal allergies, this could be a big problem. Overall, though, I'm very pleased with Richey's, and will keep them in mind for future service needs. read more

This company is beyond A+. In the past 6 months various family members have had car/tire needs. Everytime, the team has been helpful, generous, correct, and honest. The most recent incident was a tire on my car. It had gone flat. I brought it in to Richey's. They immediately put it in line to be worked on. Shortly after that, they called, and explained that the tire was fairly new and from another shop. The mechanic put the flat tire in the trunk of my car and suggested I take it to the other shop, as the tire was likely under warrantee. He was correct in his assessment. Which is very honest and generous. Most other shops would have changed the tire, charged me, and sent me on my way. I wouldn't have known the difference. When I went to the shop that originally sold me the tire, I told them the story of the mechanic from Richeys. They were as impressed as I was. Our family was already committed to Richeys from their great work over the past few months on our other cars. We are definitely customers for life. After my car was repaired from an accident I was still hearing a noise when I would go around curves, but it was really hard to hear or reproduce to show someone. I brought my car to these guys and even though the noise was very minimal, they took me seriously. We took my car out on a test drive to try to make it make the noise and the guy was able to do it thank God! they ordered part and fixed it up the next morning as soon as the part was there. I couldn't be happier with their expertise and efficiency of getting my car back to 100%. I will definitely be coming back to these guys in the future should I have any troubles. read more

I had a fast leaking flat on the way to work this am and pulled in about 7:45. The guys opened the door a few min early and put me in line behind the guy that was already waiting for a flat repair. They were friendly, repaired the tire quickly and rotated them all for free. I'm a point S customer (the dalles) but didn't have my paperwork but he said "no problem, I'll take your word". It was raining pretty hard and as I pulled up, Harold was inside waiting to see if I needed assistance, he saw I did and came out to help. I had a front flat tire and it was close to my work. I went there without an appointment and just told the front desk that my tire was flat and I mentally prepared myself to pay for a new tire. They told me they would take a look at my car and I wasn't concerned with how much time they needed. They told me it would take around 45 minutes just to get it inside with a technician. I was totally fine waiting because I didn't even call for an appointment. I proceeded to walk to my work around the corner and after the suggested time called me and told me that the car was ready to go! The tall gentleman at the front counter told me they took the car in (even though it was busy) saw that it needed a repair of the tire itself and saved me the headache of paying for a whole new one! I was so amazed at the courteous service and the authenticity of the staff I took it upon myself to give them a genuine review of how I was treated. Just had an unfortunate interaction with the manager of this business. I had a complaint/inquiry as to why an inquiry wasn't followed up with a call today. The manager was immediately irritated and told me to read the sign about the complaint department. It stated "Complaint Department 300 miles North". I was very respectful and not combative. He told me that he didn't want my business. This is a $3000.00 cash sale. We have bought tires for multiple cars and have used them for repair. I don't expect them to fall all over themselves but I do expect to be treated in a respectful manner and not be walked out on. I will be looking for another place to spend my money. read more

We blew a tire on our camper while driving on the freeway a few miles away. My husband put on the spare so we could get off the freeway and have it looked at. We first went to firestone because it was the closest, I was leery because they had only 2 stars and bad reviews, and was unfortunately correct. My husband went in and right away he said they said they didn't have camper tires, even though he was looking right at them, and then they told him that nobody would and we wouldn't be able to get them fixed. We left and called this place, the man on the phone said they could have us in and out quickly. We pulled in and were serviced right away with four new tires and balance. WOW!!! Went to a tire store up the road and they wanted $930 for 4 new tires and a alignment and balance. Here it cost me only $650 and the tires have a 50,000 warranty!!! The $930 tires only had a 30,000 warranty....so the way I look at it was that I got a smoking deal! FYI they also have amazing coffee across the street while your waiting. Keep it up guys! I strongly recommend this shop especially Harold Taylor! We had an emergency on our way back from Portland OR to Seattle WA. Engine started making some noise and I wasn't sure we could get home safely. It was Sunday evening and not much repair shops were working in Vancouver. Hopefully Richey's was still open. Although it was 30 min before they close, Harold agreed to take a look without without any questions. Since the pandemic we've put very few miles on our car and that meant we hadn't taken our car in for service for at least 2 years. I made an appointment to have the car checked over and fixed because on occasions it wouldn't start. Left it at 9 am and picked it up the next day at 6 pm I think.
