This is the second time I've been to Hazel Dell Tire Pros and just like the first time I had a good experience. My wife punched a hole in the sidewall of one of her tires and I went to have it replaced on a Friday afternoon. However, it turned out they didn't happen to have the tire I needed in stock but did have it in Portland and could have it there on Monday. This wasn't a problem for me. However, when Monday came, it turned out my wife and had had a miscommunication and she wanted to have both the front tires replaced rather than just the one. So, at around noon, I called Hazel Dell Tire Pros and let them know about the situation. Although they had only gotten the one tire from Portland as we originally had discussed, they kindly sent somebody over to Portland again and picked up the second tire and had me out the door before 3 o'clock. Staff is helpful and friendly, and the prices seem reasonable. read more

On the way to visit my friend in Portland I got a flat tire due to a big pothole on the freeway. I was able to change the tire and make my way to the local Les Schwab the next day. When I got there, they had a two hour wait. I searched for a nearby tire shop and found Hazel Dell tire pros. I called and they had immediate availability. When I got there the man that I spoke with on the phone immediately checked out my tire in my trunk and told me I would need to replace it. He did a quote and it would've taken a day to get the tire which I didn't have because I had to head back home but the quote was very reasonable. He then double checked that I put the spare on correctly and tightened the bolts to make sure it was safe. He didn't charge me and was super friendly. I highly recommend this business. I'm not sure why people are willing to wait two hours for poor service, when friendly service is right around the corner! read more

Best tire shop in Vancouver IMHO. They have been a landmark in Hazel Dell for years now and the owners know their stuff. The may be a little more expensive than the cut rate shops, but they will work with you to match prices. The foundation of their business is customer service and they stand behind what they sell. They have often helped me with flats and minor things gratis. They'll get you in and out faster than any shop I've done business with. I went in to determine what is the best way to switch snow tires to street tires for summer use. The owner gave me options and switched out tires for this summer until I could purchase new rims. The switch out was quick and efficient. I will purchase new rims sometime in September to put my snow tires on for sking and hunting. Had 2 trailer tires blow while picking up Hay this season. This beat up ol trailer is used once a year, for hay. I start calling tire shops, the local top dog wanted $165 per tire. I called HDTP and they suggested I find the tires on line, and bring them in to be installed. At the top dog's shop I would have spent $330+ Tax for two tires. I found the tires for $66 each (EBay) and HDTP installed them both for $38 and disposed of the old tires for me. Found this place by accident a while back after being totally let down by Les Schwab in Portland. They have been my go-to ever since for all my tire needs. I was referred to them by a local mechanic because I wanted to find a tire store closer to home that wasn't so corporate. In the past, I've always been treated differently than my husband because I'm a woman. I've had such issues with men from Big O, Les Schwab or America's Best looking me in the eye and talking business. I was tired of their customer no-service. From the very first moment I walked in, I was treated with respect, assurance, and they didn't gouge me over the price of my tires. The head guy even worked on my car and made sure the lug nuts were tightened properly and put away in my car and not left to rattle around on the floor or in the trunk. This shop is a "mom and pop" place, owned privately by the couple who works there. This is their bread and butter and they do a fabulous job with quality service, customer care, and speed. While the lobby does smell a bit like tires, there is an actual sofa and easy chairs, not to mention tea AND coffee. No more will I be made to feel like a second class citizen when I go to the tire store. These folks should be called "Vancouver's Best" because they are! :) read more

I went to have a alignment done and they were too lazy to actually align the car and instead said my steering knuckle was bent or my strut which was far from true because I went to Les Schwab and they did the alignment in less than an hour and all they had to do was install a camber bolt. This is ofcourse after I bought the almost 400$ steering knuckle to replace like they said but I obviously never needed it. THIS SAYS ALOT ABOUT THEIR WORK ETHIC. read more

New name- TIRE PROS I was a walk-in, due to a flat and they promptly assisted me despite being incredibly busy. Turns out I needed all new tires and they were able to suggest options which included; new tires/alignment immediately or a loaner tire so that I could go home and discuss with my husband. They promptly replaced my tires and did the alignment while I waited (with no appointment) in about 45 minutes. While waiting I could overhear the owner who had good relationships with regular customers (including offering a hug to a recent widow). The owner had pride in his business and integrity. Upon arrival the staff there were friendly and helpful. They gave me an immediate quote on the tires and had them installed in less than 30 minutes wait time. My son's tires have been losing air and so we went in to have them checked today. We were greeted right away and I told them what we thought might be happening. All four tires were checked, and it was determined that corrosion was keeping them from having a proper seal. They ground off the corrosion, and applied some sealant. I appreciated having everything explained, no up-selling on anything, AND given a discount. This will definitely be the place for me to go if we have any other tire issues. read more

There's a good reason I buy my tires here. They always do a great job and always at a fair price. This time I brought in my Mini Cooper S which doesn't have a spare tire. The existing tires were fairly new and I had a blow out on one that could not be repaired. They do not carry the tire I needed and I certainly didn't want an oddball. They got on the phone and called around to find a replacement. I opted to change both the front tires but that was my idea and my choice, they did not try to upsell me, in fact they were sure to advise me that it wasn't really necessary.
