do not and i mean do not bring your car here sister took carbin and they gave her a loaner car and thet is the only reason why she took her car there well a few days later they xalled and said they want the loaner back and somebody else needs to use it and the parts for her car was not in yet only a few days out but no they are rude and ask for the loaner back when your car is jot even done hmm that is pretty pathetic to me ill tell you that. this shop used to be a decent shop but now theyre not and theyre kind of dishonest as well. from now on i will be taking all of my cars to gaynor's automotive why because they have loaner cars and also they are way more professional than this shit hole in the wall shop lmfao. if i could i would give these slime balls zero stars. read more

My 2006 Honda Civic is definitely an old lady so she makes a lot of noises, but there was a new noise that I found pretty concerning so I endeavored to find a mechanic to take a look. My cousin, who's a mechanic, recommended My Auto Works. This was hands down the best car maintenance experience I've ever had. They found the problem, which was pretty expensive, and found a few other issues as well. Gave me a price breakdown by order of importance, and recommendations on how to decide what to fix now and what could wait. They completed the work, but noticed there was still a problem. They worked until they figured it out and gave me a discount because they hadn't noticed it up front. I'm a woman and didn't feel like I got talked down to or condescended to. Jim and Roland are so great they have worked on 3 of my families vehicles, the first one was my son's car in which my ex-boyfriend did a botch job on doing the oil pain job and they fixed it up for him. the 2nd one was my truck which ended up needing a new engine. the 3rd was my daughter's car which was having an electrical issue they fixed it up after her not having a car for two months they got it done in less than 24hrs making her happy. they will also get my horse trailer when my truck is done. read more

Even though they haven't completed the job yet, I am totally impressed with this business. They are a small outfit back off country roads, but don't be fooled. They are top notch, extremely courteous, customer satisfaction first, with very reasonable rates shop. My 2011 Suburban had a water leak in the back and Roland, the owner, immediately was able to diagnose the issue. They even took the vehicle on the spot without an appointment to work on it the same day. Jim, the front desk guy, is upfront and a pleasure to deal with. DANGER TO TRUST MY AUTO WORKS! Don't be a fool go elsewhere! This shop has taken advantage of my father a disabled elderly man. They couldn't even get an alignment right. Cost my dad 4 brand new Full sized truck tires NOT CHEAP! They said they completed reairs to a truck of mine and left out the nuts to my differential! DANGER!!! They say they have towing but left my family stranded on the freeway! Because of their faulty workmanship after promising they were christians and would have an ASE Certified Technician do all the work! The customer service here was great! I brought my motor home there for an emissions repair a few weeks ago. They could have easily charged me a bunch to "repair" the RV, but all it turned out to be was a loose spark plug wire. They put the wire back on, vehicle tested fine and off we went with a handshake at no charge. I'm a fan and will be back again. read more

I drive from East Vancouver to come here. My good friend who lived in this area recommended this automotive shop to me and I won't trust my car with anyone else. I drive a SAAB; kind of an odd car - they weren't afraid to work on it and I trust them as much as any SAAB specialist. They are honest, never try to up-sell me on unnecessary repairs, and they make sure to do things right - even if it takes longer. Very expensive. I should've stuck to my guns and had them do what I asked them to do . They said that they could do an alternative fix for a small cost. It ended up costing significantly more . They quoted 30% more on labor and almost 3 times higher for parts!! Seriously 275% higher for the parts cost then from another shop! Needless to say I took my car elsewhere. If you are having work done, price your parts before committing. If they say that you can get your parts cheaper then they can, that's a clue read more

Take your car elsewhere, they'll screw you. I have a 98 Altima, the mass airflow sensor is going out. I decided to take it in because I don't have the time to do it myself. I had the computer run the scan as to why the check engine light was on and it came back as the mass airflow sensor. I told them that when I dropped the car off and they called me back two days later to tell me that they finally had a chance to look at the car and quoted me at almost 480 dollars. So I goggled how much the part cost: the price range was 130 - 190 ish and about 25 minutes to change the part. They then charged me 105 bucks to "diagnose" the car even though I already told them what was wrong with it and gave them the paper work from the computer scan. Take your car elsewhere, if you don't know anything about cars they'll just charge you an astronomical amount and claim their parts cost that much even though nothing supports that logic.
