I went to the dealership and was told I would have to have my vehicle towed there in order for them to help. I imagined a $500-1000 service bill has I done that so w went to Yelp. In desperation I began calling all local locksmiths who advertised automotive. I do want to say that most were operating a limited staff because of the Covid thing, so maybe they were just covered up. The first who called back said it would be over a week before they could come out. Too long, next? Then Chue called from Locksmith Disciples and said "yes, I can do it at the vehicle. " Music to my ears. That was about 1PM, and Chue said he would meet me about 7PM. Good enough for me! I met Chue, who is a young, hard working family guy making his way through life. A great attitude and I enjoyed meeting him. Chue is the guy you want to call - period!!! PS. While Chue was repairing my car, I did receive a call from Quick Key, about 6 hours after I called them. Not quick enough - call Chue!!!

Eric went to the trouble of researching and swiftly finding the rare key fob from a distant state. It can be really difficult to make a key fob work correctly for sensor-filled cars. Called this morning to set an appointment for this evening as I locked myself out of the house…read morethrough the garage service door. I will spare the details of my unlucky morning. The woman over the phone said it would be $35 for the outcall, and MAYBE $15 or so more for the unlock service. I set the appointment for when I expected to get home and didn't think about it for the rest of the day. Right on time, 8:30 rolls around and the locksmith is waiting for me to arrive. He and two of his friends that sat in the car playing loud music. Yes, he brought his friends with to the joyous experience of opening my door. If that wasn't bad enough, as soon as he starts in with his "estimate" to open a door that is simply locked with nothing more than a doorknob, it turns out that it's $35 for the outcall, and $165 for the lock-out service, with a chuckle he added that if there had been a deadbolt it would have been more. The only saving grace to this experience is the fact that the door was open within ten minutes. That was until I noticed the tool marks and wood missing from the door jam. A part of me is wondering whether or not my credit card information hasn't been stolen... I will never use this service again, and I would NOT recommend them to anyone else.
