I am still waiting on a response from this company. I paid $189 for my couch to get cleaned only to see that it is dirtier than before. After a call with Nic, turns out they needed to service the machine they used and realized they'd have to come back to redo the job. We scheduled a date, when my husband took off work to be there for a 2pm appointment and turns out they had a "scheduling error", so asked me to reschedule. I did, on a morning we would both be there before work at 8am and the tech never showed. We work everyday and do not have the lives of sitting at home all week waiting for them to show up. I sent an email to request a refund and they asked if I could leave a key so they can come when it's convenient for them. I said no and now they have stopped responding. I have documented all interactions with this company. They should provide better customer service especially since they NEVER cleaned the couch yet took our money. read more

I was not going to leave a review. I even posted one and pulled it down, thinking "maybe it was my fault, somehow." It wasn't. These guys are complete vultures. My home was destroyed in March of 2023 by a tornado. These guys swooped in and did get PART of the house dry. then they ripped out drywall and did not find water damage, but they did not offer to fix the damage THEY did. Then, their dehumidifier leaked oil all over my floor, which *I* had to clean up. Okay, so here I am, no longer able to live in my house because of a tornado, and I am depending on these guys to help me out. Nooooo. Instead they charged me well over $24,000 for a shoddy water clean up, moving only half of my small house's belongings 30 miles, and putting a tarp (that I provided) and some plywood over the gaping holes in my home. And then they stopped returning my calls unless I became loud. They ignored my texts. When I DID finally get them to come out and fix the shabby roof patching, they charged me even more. Then the winning moment: they tried to charge my insurance another $45000. That time I caught it in time and stopped all payments I did not specifically authorize. It appears they make their money preying on people like me: desperate and scared. Imagine having your home destroyed and THIS is the type of person who comes to your "rescue." I would not have written this if I had not bothered to read the other 1 star reviews. It appears that I am not alone. I got fleeced. These guys are frauds. I own several rentals in Austin but live in Cali. I called these guys to have my carpet clean. I asked them if there employees are trust worthy as my home is currently vacant and they will get a code to go in and clean my carpet. Monday morning they came said they will call me after they clean my carpet and take my payment. Well, payment was made but there was no cleaning whatsoever. Here I am back in Austin Friday night hoping to have the house done so that my tenants can start moving in but the carpet is dirty. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS as they are frauds. DO NOT trust these guys! Last Wednesday, I scheduled an appointment for today at noon, with the company called Quick Dry Restoration (or Quick Dry Carpet Clean or just Quick Dry) https://quickdrycarpetclean.com/ -- I'd originally reached them by calling a number from "Austin Steam Cleaning," but Quick Dry is what their emails and phone messages said. I think they may also be called Millenium Carpet Cleaning. I'd change my name a lot, too, if I treated customers this way (read on). Just wish I'd read the reviews here 1st. On the phone, I explained clearly (my wife says "overexplained") what I needed cleaned. We talked about the state of the carpet, the square footage of the house, etc. Our conversation was plenty detailed, and I was quoted a price of $139; I don't recall being told anything about a particular special, three-room or not, and if I had I wouldn't have blinked: I fairly, completely described the task, and got what seemed like a reasonable price quoted. And if they'd called it a "three-room special," I would have shrugged and thought "Sure, that's a pretty close fit, since they count the stairs as a room and the office is basically a tiny nook at the end of the hall." Just like a dry cleaner may consider a particular piece of clothing to fit into a category with a name that doesn't quite match, that'd be reasonable. Arranged with tenants to make sure that was an OK time, asked upstairs tenants not to move their stuff into the rooms before then. Today, I got a call at 10:36 (a number I didn't recognize; they left a message) that the appointment had been double-booked, and that we'd need to reschedule. OK; things happen. Called back, they suggested 2 PM, but when I asked if 1 PM would be possible, they said Yes. OK; great, not too big a difference from noon, and I checked w/ the tenants. Still OK. At 1 p.m., I was at the house waiting. Craig called to let me know that he was stuck in traffic and would be about half an hour late. OK; that's fine -- I did some work in the backyard. He arrived about 1:40, cursory apology, smacking gum, then took a look at the areas to be cleaned. He said that he'd have to charge extra because it didn't fit his work order. I balked -- said I was very clear on the phone, had been quoted a price based on an unambiguous description of what we needed done -- stairs, two bedrooms (neither large) a small office space, and the short connecting hallway. Craig refused, said he wouldn't do that without charging extra for the office space, told me he doesn't work for free. "But this is what your company promised," I said. Perhaps based on my initial description the company considered the office to be a part of the hallway, for the purposes of making the sale, or simply thought this was the best-fit work order for the job. Craig was belligerent about that, denied that they could have made this offer. To that, he says "You didn't talk with me. I didn't promise that. This says you're getting the 3-room special, and I don't work for free. You have a good day." He walked out, after telling me that he was the owner of the company, and I wasn't. True enough. But I've rearranged my day and wasted time driving on 35 midday, then waited for him besides. You'd think an owner of a company would want to at least make good on his company's promises to customers. I followed him out, tried to reason, pointed out I'd be reviewing the company based on what he / the company did to make it right. I said "You record those calls, right?" "Yeah -- we record every single one." "Why don't you listen to this call then [mine, that is] and realize why I'm upset at being told now you won't do the service ordered?" He said he didn't have time for that. Looking for a compromise that didn't leave me with dirty carpets, I said "OK, how about you just do the rooms that you believe I'm entitled to?" He reluctantly agreed to this, but as he started to take equipment out of his van, I reconsidered. Do I want someone with such a bad attitude in my house, never mind doing this kind of a service? So I sent him on his way, and called the company. The woman I talked to is one I've talked to before -- I think she's the one who helped arrange the initial appointment, and again this morning to reschedule because of the double booking -- was sweet and apologetic, and I apologized for her for being snippy. I told her that I'd be reviewing the company, and that what I thought should happen is that the company should arrange to do the cleaning they already agreed to do at no charge; I paid enough with the wasted day and the rude treatment. I'm curious how they will respond. They've put me in a bad spot, and left my tenants with carpets that haven't been steam cleaned, and I think an apology and actual service are not only warranted but the least they should reasonably do. I plan to update this review with any updates. Maybe surly Craig is an exception, and they'll make good. read more

If only I could give no stars... DO NOT USE!! They are the epitome of who not to do business with because they clearly do NOT care about the client! Scheduled with this company to do a simple three room carpet clean with no furniture on a Saturday. On three separate occasions and well in advance of the day of service, I confirmed the appointment and stated each time this must be firm as it was our last day in the home. I was assured there would be no problems and that I could "count on them to be there." At no time, was I ever told there would be ANY reason why the company would not be able to honor the THRICE confirmed appointment because that's how detailed oriented I am and also an indication of how important this job was. WRONG! After being handed over from Chris, to Brian, to Nick...all on a Saturday morning. Nick cancelled the appointment secondary to rain four hours before the time of the appointment. I was shocked and couldn't believe this company was canceling after I was very explicit on the dire need that they be there. I was livid and of course, Nick professionally hangs up on me and then texts that he "can't talk to someone whose (yes, I know it should have been who's) threatening and yelling." Well, ya know what Nick? Maybe your company shouldn't make promises they can't keep because of the scary rain...which by the way, ended long before our scheduled time and because of your company's lack of information regarding your so-called "rain policy" I was unable to acquire another cleaning company because they were all out WORKING!!! If you use this company, you will be supporting a business that completely screwed over a customer not because they didn't want to work in the rain or drive on wet roads, but because they failed to honor a commitment that was extremely important. Choose a business with integrity, respect, and excellence....there are plenty of them out there, but Quick Dry Carpet Cleaning isn't one of them. After being handed from one team to the next throughout the morning, there is NO way I believe the rain excuse. Nic (I think it was) cleaned my carpets last Tuesday morning around 8:30. We had spoken the night before late on the phone, and I was impressed he picked up so late and he was really helpful and nice on the phone, putting my mind at ease. When he made his scheduled call to me when he arrived at the apartment to be cleaned, he told me that my living room counted as two rooms because it was too large. Okay, fine. He also said that there would be an extra charge for spot removal, and an extra charge for degreasing to help with the darkened high-traffic areas. Well, okay, fine I guess, but I assumed that kind of stuff is just part of cleaning the carpet, not some special add-on. Of course there would be some minor stains or darkened areas from traffic. You only hire a carpet cleaner if the carpet is a little dirty, right? That was... acceptable... and okay, I agreed to upping the price from around 100 to around 170 for that stuff. I just needed it done. He communicated well and sent me photos of the areas he couldn't treat well. I went to the apartment later that day and was surprised at the sheer number of dirty areas still there. I brought my $200 carpet cleaner I got from Amazon and some spot treatment spray, and got to work. I spent maybe 15 minutes total on my hands and knees picking out play-doh from the carpet with my fingernails, and using the brush attachment on my carpet cleaner along with pretreatment spray on the stained areas, and I did what they couldn't do. When I hired them, my perspective was I was hiring someone to make the carpet clean. I believe that their perspective is that they're hired to come in and operate a carpet cleaning machine. There's a difference there, in that my expectation is results-based. I didn't expect perfection, and the carpet when I was finished wasn't perfect. I got about 80% of what was leftover. But I expected them to do what I did, which was spend the time on their hands and knees for those 15 minutes or whatever to try. Even after they cleaned my carpets, the water I was pulling up from my machine was still brown/grey. That said, that might be normal. Maybe no carpet is ever fully clean in that way. This wasn't the issue. Overall, it was not a huge failure. If your carpets essentially look good already without stains, this service would be good. It's just not something I'd do again, and I want them to read this to know why. read more

I made an appointment via their online booking service and they immediately confirmed that Jaquon R would be arriving the next day. He called an hour or so before the service and mentioned that he had an opening and could service my [disgustingly filthy] carpets early if I was interested, which I was happy about since my schedule was tight. He arrived and immediately got to work. I believe I was quoted around $115ish, but after he saw the condition of the carpets had a few options to "advertise", of which I took one that included a treatment for the higher traffic areas. None of his suggestions felt high-pressure so I appreciated these options. After maybe an hour Jaquon had finished the carpets and gave me some suggestions for carpet maintenance. Nic and his fella came this past week because I was having some new furniture delivered. My carpet was pretty dirty plus my small male dog 'marked' many places which small male dogs do. They were able to remove most all of the marking stains which I was very happy about. The couple of stains that didn't come completely clean, I had used Spot Shot on. We just had our carpets cleaned by Nic and he did a great job. Despite having 2 dogs and 2 kids we take pretty good care of our carpets but they were in need of some cleaning. We usually rent the Bissel from HEB and it takes forever to clean and forever to dry. Nic was in and out in less than an hour and the price was similar to what it would cost to rent the machine and do it myself. (And I didn't have to do it myself) We've not had our carpets professionally cleaned before and this was a great first experience. I do my best to give the business an opportunity to correct the problem first. I was unable to work something out with Quick Dry, unfortunately. If you are looking for professional quality cleaning, I would not recommend Quick Dry. We had a senior dog on prednisone which caused him to have some accidents. We wanted our carpets professionally cleaned before our new puppy comes home. Quick Dry was an hour late, though Nic did text to let me know. He was friendly and courteous; however, the stains were not removed. I thought they would come up once the carpets were dry and I could vacuum. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I ended up cleaning the stains myself since I was in a hurry as the new puppy was coming soon. I can't recommend. read more

It's a shame. Really liked Nic and I will always support a local business despite the terrible experience. Nic came by really quickly and seemed super courteous. It did seem strange that he offered a discount if I paid in cash. That should've been a red flag. He then made a quick look around and bumped the price up alleging I needed degreaser. I was desperate to do something since I needed to move my stuff in right away so I agreed. I felt good that the money back guarantee on his website meant he would do a good job or we would work it out. No such luck. He said it would clear up once it dries and it never did. Spent a total of 20 minutes and then said nothing more could be done. I then had to rent a machine from HEB and now the carpet is finally clean. I've contacted him multiple times over the last two weeks to have him refund the money. I wanted to give him every opportunity to make this right. Nic, the owner of this company, has been very rude to me since I asked for a refund. Nic has texted me past 12 a.m. because my roommates and I left one star reviews. He refused to give me my invoice and even told e to go (beep) myself. On December 5th for a rug cleaning I have on November 9th. I simply called to see if I could get a refund. I explained to him that I was a young girl at home alone, so I didn't ask about it during the time of the cleaning, even though the worker and I established the rug was not clean. Nic insists that I want a refund because 'm young and didn't know better, but I was just telling him my age so he knew why I didn't ask at the time. I admit that me asking was a little late. One of my roommates pointed out that I could call and see if I could get a refund way after the fact, so that's why it was so late. I checked and his company has a google guarantee that lasts 30 days after the service (a time frame I was still in). I was fully prepared for him to say no and I would have been ok with that and just dropped the situation. however, I was not prepared to get yelled and cursed at. I was not to prepared to get angry text messages after 12 a.m. on a Friday or get a message saying he was less inclined to give me a refund because my roommates left a bad review. Nic can't seem to understand that my reviews are solely based on his behavior and not based on getting a refund. I even told him I no longer wanted a refund. I do not need money that badly to try to force someone to refund my money. However, this company may need it since Nic has enough time on his hands to constantly text me. Worst company in Austin. They were hired to do a restoration at a rental property for water damage. It has been 6 months and they have not completed the work! Don't hire this company! There are plenty of other cleaning and restoration companies out there. Find one that is reputable and registered with the BBB. This one isn't and there is a reason for that. read more

UPDATE*** After posting this review Nic contacted me and issued a FULL refund and apologized for the behavior of his employee. He also offered to send out a seasoned employee to reclean the carpets. He was very professional and accommodating. Due to time constraints I couldn't have the carpets cleaned again, but I do greatly appreciate the customer service. This seems to just be one poor employee and not a reflection of the company. Original Post: I'd like to share my Facebook post regarding the experience I just had. The cleaners name was Rigo, and boy was it a fun morning for me (all sarcasm meant). I have a guy cleaning the carpets at the apartment and he's trying to convince me he's doing me a favor by not adding a charge for being on the second floor. He was 1.5 hours late because, by his own admission, he didn't want to get out of bed (he started out by lying and saying it was traffic and then that he was stuck at another job. My appointment was at 8am). He complained about bringing the machine into the apartment and stood there waiting for me to offer to help (I didn't). He then insisted he needed to use a bathtub to do his job (what if I didn't have one?). And then when he said he was done, there was still a stain on the carpet. So as a favor to me he's redoing the job... My new tactic is to just stare at him until he actually does his job. UPDATE*** He's now using my vacuum to go over the job he did. What am I even paying him for? UPDATE 2*** He cannot process the payment, and has decided to tell me his life story. I now know that he doesn't want to wipe his mother's butt when she gets older and hates that America is lazy and wants to move to Cancun and live off his savings. Then he proceeded to ask me where my family was, where I am from, why I moved to Texas, what I think of America etcetera etcetera. He also mentioned that I seemed stressed and suggested that yoga would help. I guess me wanting him to complete the job I am paying him for while he tells me his life story is stressful. UPDATE 3 *** He can't process the payment now. And is insisting my cards must be wrong. All three of my credit cards which carry 0 balances. And the debit card which definitely should work. Nic came today to give me an estimate and acted like a jerk. I have major water damage to my place and maintenance that needed to be done, and all of the appointments I scheduled when I could be off work were quite frankly a big blur. It turns out I had two water restoration companies coming for estimates, and Nic literally scolded me in front of 4 other workers that he didn't do competitive bids and that it wasn't respectful to book two people at the same time. Please read my review before using this company!!! Nick, the owner, lied and attempted to rip me off. I had used this company twice before with excellent results and when I called him the third time, he lied and did not do the job he promised. First, he jacked up the rate saying one of my rooms was considered "two rooms." He also attempted to charge for furniture moving but I showed him his quoted price which included furniture moving, pet treatment on my living room and bedroom on our text messages...either way I was desperate to get my carpet cleaned and it ended up costing me an extra $35. Plus he had attitude about it! Geez. Against my better judgement I left to work and let him complete the job. He had been trustworthy in the past plus I had cameras...When I got home, carpet looked untouched. Pet stains remained. Odor remained. Checked the cameras. He literally left 10 minutes after me with the check I left him. I called him out on it and he lied to me saying he was there for a hour. I told him I had cameras and time stamps and he got pissy. So I canceled his check, we had lots of back and forth and in the end, I did get them to come back out and actually clean the carpets under our supervision. They did an ok job...but definitely nothing like my prior experiences with this company. I am reading the sad reviews, and I am not discounting the stories. It's painful when you feel cheated. For us, however, it was a great experience. Chris was able to get me scheduled over night, and Brad got every single stain out of my carpets. Even slime! The price was higher that was quoted, but that was because I chose to do more than Chris and I originally talked about. For the results I saw, I am more than happy. If you want to see your estimate jump up, then use these people. I am allergic to any type of perfume. When I told David this, he then said he would get some different material. He was back about 1/2 hour later and only after the bill was then itemized was I advised that this cost an additional $25. I also noted that there was no vacuuming of the carpet after it was supposed to be cleaned. I ran my roomba robot vacuum later and it filled up the container with debris picked up after their supposed cleaning. This is not a company I would recommend or use again. read more

While the technician came to our house the next day after I called to have vomit cleaned, and I was grateful for that, the area cleaned was left discolored. Judging by the roundness of the discolored areas, it seems the problem was with the stain removal chemicals. The reason for my score is that they would not return my calls, texts or emails when I asked for their advise as to how to follow up. read more
