First thing's first - I am an absolute wreck when my motorcycle isn't working as it should, probably to the point that it could be considered some sort of serious psychological complex, but hey, we all have to have something. :) I called up Milestone Motorcycles this morning because my 2014 Yamaha FZ-09 headlight decided to stop working. Apparently the ground wire to the connector snapped. They told me to come on in immediately and that they were confident they could fix it on the spot. When I arrived, I was greeted by Dan, who was incredibly friendly and professional. He suggested some close by lunch spots and told me it would be no more than half an hour to forty five minutes. My bike was up on the stand and being looked at by Tim before I was even to the sidewalk. By the time I finished lunch, my bike was done. The owner, Miles, checked me out and I had an absolutely fantastic conversation about my bike's issue, motorcycles in general and just life - absolutely amazing experience. Tim, the senior mechanic, did an absolutely amazing job on the wiring work. It looks better than it ever did stock. As with Dan and Miles, Tim was a genuinely awesome guy. I recently had my Honda 300 serviced at that shop. I called when I was on the side of the highway and Mike told me to bring my bike right away (the engine died, then started again). I had just bought that bike a week before this happened. The bike has virtually no oil left. (I'm not proud). Mike gave me an estimate, and was looking for ways to avoid to have to replace the engine. Thankfully, turned out only the upper part of the engine was damaged and had to replace pistons and other parts. He is an honest guy. He could have easily told me it would cost me $1400 to repair it. All in all it cost me around $600. While this event was unfortunate, I'm glad out of this I came across this mechanic. If you're looking for an honest guy with talented mechanics who won't try to rip you off, he's the one. Thanks again Mike! read more

Well after having a bad experience in Another shop I made a best decision to take my motorcycle to milestone motorcycles. After having my motorcycle for 6 months in the other location by braker Ln and I-35 I drove to milestone were I was greeting by mr miles a very nice and friendly person. I was trying to explain to him my bad experience in my best English language since I don't speak very well lol. he totally knows what I was trying to tell him so he mentioned the parts name by name that the other shop was telling me that they were going to replace mr miles told me that's not the problem then I told him about the other issues on my motorcycle. he was very thoughtful about all these issues and he told me that the repair is not going to take very long and don't worry about your motorcycle we are going to fix it for you we are going to take care I was so impressed by the way he knows the issues even before he took a look at the motorcycle I'm very happy and thankful with all the workers there. Because I took my motorcycle in all in parts since the other shop was working on it but never finish and they put all back in order thanks again I really recommend this place to any one in need or motorcycle repairs By the way my motorcycle was ready by the next day read more

I bought a motorcycle from here and didn't have the best experience. To begin, I told the owner that I was interested in buying a motorcycle that I had seen him advertise. I told him it was my first motorcycle and he was helpful in the fact, that he suggested a smaller, less expensive motorcycle he had for sell. I give him two thumbs up for this recommendation. When I showed up with cash he then told me he had recently bought and fixed up the motorcycle and that the title hadn't actually been transferred into his name yet. I found the original owner which was a pain, but he signed off no problem luckily. Not thinking and being a new motorcycle owner, I got on and drove off. Realizing that I needed an inspection to register the motorcycle, I called, no answer, I left a message asking for someone to call me back, they never did. I went to FLASH MOTORBIKES down the road and they inspected for $7, no problem, I thought a shop owner that I just bought a motorcycle from might help me out with this. I WAS WRONG. I then discovered it had a stow away license plate that needed a key, I called to see if he had that key, no answer again, left a message, no call back. Thanks for NOTHING. I went back a year later, because I was having problems removing the battery. I explained that I didn't expect him to remember, but from the answer I got, I think he did remember and in not so many words, pretty much told me that it's very difficult to remove the battery. I end up cutting part of the box the battery was in with a grinder to remove the battery. I am fairly happy with the motorcycle he sold me, very minor issues a year later, and thank him for talking me into a better bike for my experience level. After my buying experience I would not buy a motorcycle from here, if you do not know what to look for. I also would not go here for service after the no call backs. This is my story. Called them one day to see when I could bring the bike(05 gsxr 1000) and they told me to bring it next week. Next week came and I brought them my bike on a friday(yesterday) and Richard told me that it would at least take him 2 days to work on her and give me a diagnosis. Today Saturday I worked the first shift and when I got home I went to take a nap and woke up with a missed call from them. I was ready ready to hear the diagnosis as soon as I called them back but turns out that the bike was ready for pick up. Jesus fucking christ, this guys gave me the best service ever for the BEST PRICE ever in such a short time. I recommend them to anyone. This are the guys you want them as mechanic. Worst experience I have ever had with any mechanic/bike shop. Dropped my Yamaha 250wr off two weeks ago. Basic run through, carb, spark plug, oil change. Zero communication on there part, I stopped by once five days after drop off. Grumpy Mechanic told me couldn't get it kick started because off a bum leg he has. He said he would have it done in a few days, a few day go by no response from milestone. I called back, grumpy Mechanic said it would be ready by Friday 11/20/2020. I show up Friday ,same thing...."I couldn't get it started ,....if you leave it a couple of days I can get it running.." I don't know if he doesn't remember what he told me or if he is stoned or hungover...Anyways totally not cool. I live in the neighborhood and love supporting local biz. But I would warn anyone about this place. Not friendly, and super shit attitude. I hope nobody else goes through this...Milestone gets a big read more

This review is well over due. Work and other things have taken me away from the important things in life, like riding :-). Putting time aside to thank you for the fine work that you guys did on my 10yr old almost 100K mile Goldwing. Prior to you guys working on my ride I had considered purchasing a newer Wing but now I have reconsidered. Bike is riding very well and I think I can get another 50k out of it before looking for a replacement. had an fzr in repaired in there.. decent service (but they're kinda rude) charged me 585 to rebuild forks and bleed brakes (charged 4 hours of labor for just bleeding brakes.. was told my back master cylinder was messed up and needed serious fixing.. and it was just a clogged bleed screw.. didn't get to the rest of anything i needed for the bike to be done. (not even a simple chain adjustment) this place is great if your pockets are fat. but the work seems to not add up with price read more

First off, know that I use Yelp just about daily and this is my first review, so take this as 6 stars because this shop is amazing! I have a 2003 Yamaha R6 which I couldn't get running. I've had several people look at the bike, people who claim to know about motorcycles, but we couldn't figure out the problem. I was fed up with all the time and research trying to do it myself, so I finally decided to just drop it off to a place and have them diagnose and fix. I've been burned by mechanics before, both on my bike and cars, and I admit that those bad experiences might spill over to all mechanics a bit, unfairly. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR. STOP GOOGLING STUFF AND FIDGETING AROUND TO FIX YOUR BIKE YOURSELF. I dropped my bike off on a Fri and picked it up the following Sun, running GREAT! The problem was simple and had to do with the spark plugs. I admitted that I'm an idiot and hooked it up to a car battery (when I dropped it off), and then cranked the car on. This could have caused a number of problems that any mechanic could have used to falsely replace parts not needed. I trust these guys! read more
