I got lucky and was able to have the issue happen while Sean was looking at the bike.

I paid more than a 1000 dollars and refuse to pay the last 577 dollars that was supposed to be 400 after 5 month of supposedly work on it . Now I got a bike that don t start right away and sound like a lawnmower. Can t go on the highway with it . They have a 90 days warranty for you to know . But after you bring the bike because it s not working . Mister ego Nikki told me he could not work for free . You should work right the first time and not telling your customer that you were missing some cleaning produce that is not professional at all . So if you need to get your gaz thank clean and your fuel pump replace I would not recommend this place . If I can make you save money . The 5-star review this place has is accurate and deserved…read more I had a Yamaha V-star that had been sitting in the garage for about three years, non-op; wanted to get it back up and running. Called 'em up and was assured that'd be easily doable. Had the bike towed there so they could assess it, determine what all would need to be done, and provide a cost estimate. The assessment took a little while (a couple of weeks), but once they'd determined that, they got the repairs/replacements done in under a week! Wow! The price was also incredibly fair. When I stopped in to pick her back up, I finally got to meet the folks and see the shop, and I gotta say, it's clear these folks like bikes and like working on bikes. This is their jam. The employees are friendly and helpful and their hands are stained with grease-- exactly who you want working on your vehicular baby! She's been purring perfectly ever since for all my zooming about town. The shop decor is fun too-- they've got a pinball machine on free play if you need to kill some time while you wait. On my way to the bathroom I saw they even have some arcade-style motorcycle SEGA games! They have merch for sale like t-shirts. Bathroom is immaculately clean for a shop toilet. Impressive. If you're in need of a motorcycle repair, trust these folks with it!!

Cool relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff…read more The guys really are super quick. I've referred them already to several. I walked in 10 mins before closing (unknowingly) after wrestling with my tires all day. They didn't hesitate and had them done in 10 mins. After a failed brake flush in my own I rode my bike up there. They had rear brakes replaced, front tire turned the right way (I'm not much of a mechanic lol), bled brakes, replaced axel nut that had stripped and let me know I needed a new brake fluid reservoir that had stripped. Took an hour to find all the problems and fix them. Seriously won't go anywhere else. Was expecting crazy prices but not the case. Wheels out on the rims under what I expected and one hour service a few days later was reasonably priced.

I paid a good price, tried to replace the cylinder myself and it worked for a month. Depressing. I found Ben online, w fairly specific requests that many mechanics would refuse. Nothing outrageous, and I think it reflected his confidence in BMW boxer motors, even a more modern four year old one. "It's the same engine, more or less". For some reason, I was sold on that. I had seen the engine apart, and I had to agree. I brought the bike not running, repaired ineffectively by me. He helped guide me which parts he thought were important...which took a few weeks. BMW parts are SLOW if they're not in the states. "A 2018 RNINET CYLINDER? Let me check mother Germany." Three months ....Anyhooo....Ben is smart as a tack, personable and a born teacher. He loves these bikes and understands them. I gave him every bit of information I had for the bike....LOTS. I think he opened it up once for torques. One of THOSE guys. I know, he graciously allowed me to WATCH him work and help when I could. I wouldn't count on it, but very generous act. He also allowed my dead bike to sit in his garage waiting for Berliner's get their shit together. I can't remember if I paid him a little extra sunthin sumthin, for the pain...but it wasn't from his suggestion if I did. Ben doesn't seem like that kinda guy. Bike fired up, and has been settling over the last several thousand miles. I love my bike. BMW always told me..."don't replace the cylinder, it won't ever be the same." That's easy for them to say. I don't know if it's the same or not as I've done little to the bike. Scrape a baby possum off my face plate...but that's my head. I paid under 4 grand for the bike. Under one for the repair? Might drag little at 2k in first gear coming out of driveway....wtf do I want? I drove a 1100 cc NINJA when I was a kid. This is much classier and I don't have paper plates at the little car show around these parts. My bike looks used but imagine a beautiful woman waking up in your bed, for no reason determined, she looks as hungover as you feel not perfect but just RIGHT...smells amazing...stays the after noon...maybe even dinner again when she orders Vietnamese food you didn't know existed. Nobody complained. I couldn't prove the bike is slower pre or post accident and repair even I wanted to. I've pushed 120 mph easy. Ben is not a bullshitter. He speaks in a manner that suggests he's thoughtful of what comes out of his mouth but has a sense of humor too that spurts out. HE GENUINELY WANTS TO DO A GOOD JOB. He's willing to ask himself questions and make moves that others may not. But he won't do it without asking YOU FIRST. After three thousand miles I'm perfectly happy.

Review for QZ cycle…read more John is the best. I regularly ride at over 120MPH and I know that every nut and bolt could be the difference between life and death. I wouldn't trust anyone except John with my cycle. Ii took a little while to schedule in and with good reason, John is busy because he can be trusted does good work and doesn't charge an arm and a leg to do it. I am so glad to have found someone in Austin that can be trusted to do the job right. In the end I had 1 clogged jet, 1 jet not seating right, a broken intake boot, and a cracked exhaust pipe. He repaired all of that, and also flushed all my fluids and checked my tires. On that note good thing he checked they were way off. What impressed me most is that he personally rides everything after working on it. He told me the back tire broke loose for him. I have been riding that bike for years and never gotten the tire to break loose, so I know he didn't take it lightly on her. I love that when someone not only talks the talk but walks the walk. The fact that he got down on it hard enough to spin a tire tells me a lot. Now she purrs like a kitten with that deep loud rumble she had when I first got her, no more idle problems, and the response time when I roll on it is 1000% better. Honest and good trustworthy work that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, sign me up for that!!! Thanks again John for the work, I will be back for any and everything bike related. 2001 Midnight star 1600cc 3k miles.

After almost having it simi better i see he didn't even balance it. In my opinion he's a hack not because he didn't balance the tire but because he felt the job he did on my stuff was less important than other things he was doing in the shop. Lesson Get my own balancer and tire mounter and stay away from people who don't care to do the right thing.
