    Half of the best sandwiche

This might be my new favorite sandwich place. I was craving a burger but was walking by to our car after the farmers market and it just looked too good. My eyes did not let me down. I got the I think roast beef and chimichuri on rosemary focaccia: I was debating between that and the burger but when I asked the guy at the counter he said the sandwich was the best seller. He wasn't wrong. I had jury duty two days later and walk over again for the sandwich and really want it right now.

When businesses claim to have the "best" of something, I'm always a little skeptical. I took one bite and I get the hype. Wow, this was one of the best sandwiches I ever had! My husband and I stayed at a hotel nearby and needed a quick bite for lunch (get it?) The establishment is small, there is very little seating and some tables outside. My husband ordered the brisket chimichurri sandwich and it was bomb. I wanted a bit of spice and ordered the chipotle chicken sandwich. Absolutely amazing. I love the kick and I appreciate that the chicken breast was nice and moist - not dry at all! Both sandwiches had so much flavor. I was impressed. They also serve breakfast sandwiches all day! And offer smoothies, pastries, salads, and soups. I would highly recommend trying the sandwiches though! Did not disappoint.

I work nearby and this is my go-to lunch spot. The person who is always working there, who I'm assuming is the owner, is so kind. My favorite sandwiches include their brisket. So smoky and flavorful!

I was in town for my BIL wedding at the courthouse a couple of blocks away and was really hangry for a bite to munch on and a cold drink to get some relief from the hot summer weather. Their menu is relatively simple and I selected their Feisty Chicken. I asked them to tone down the spice a lil and it was a definitely a good choice. Lots of flavor and i washed it down w an ice cold orange juice. Great service, friendly staff, and a cozy lil spot kinda hidden just on the outskirts of little Italy in San Diego. Only thing I could say they may try to improve on is maybe more seating but other than that, I'd definitely come here again.

Easily the best bagels I've had in San Diego HANDS DOWN!!! Everything I tried here was delicious including their cookies and orange juice! & the workers were so kind! I'm definitely coming back here for my next San Diego trip! :)

opped in here for a quick breakfast but unfortunately it took forever to get our orders. Very misleading name. There is only one little oven so orders were jammed up. My breakfast sandwich was very good once I got it but we waited almost half an hour for it. So if you're in a hurry, don't stop here if your in a hurry. The focaccia bread was delicious. It's a small shop with some a few counter seating inside and a few small tables out front.

Definitely not quick but made with TLC and quality ingredients which likely contribute to not being quickly made. Great little breakfast joint in Little Italy if you're looking for a solid quality bagel breakfast sandwich or something breakfast and coffee related. There's really no seating other than the sidewalk tables so it's a very quick in and out place but good if you don't want to be at a long meal and looking to get something relatively "quick-ish" that isn't really quick but satisfying nonetheless if you can afford a little more time in exchange for quality.

Stopped by to celebrate their 1 year anniversary. The staff were super sweet and welcoming. The owners were greeting everyone, and it was nice to chat with them. They offer a variety of things from coffee, to smoothies to sandwiches and desserts. My friend raved about how the breakfast sandwich was delicious. They had offered samples of a chicken sandwich which was really good and the brownie was rich decadent. They have a small seating area inside, but also offer a few tables outside if you'd like to stay and eat. I will definitely be stopping by here again, when I'm in the area.

I had a super yummy meal at Quick Bites!! The inside of the cafe is decorated really nicely, and the staff are super friendly. My sandwich tasted so good. I also had a peanut butter chocolate protein smoothie and it went perfect with my meal. I really love all the menu options but this is by far my favorite one since I like the spiciness. Definitely recommend!! Go now before Quick Bites goes viral!

10/10!! Great service and the food was DELICIOUS!! We got their Supreme Protein smoothy, Bagel and Cream cheese, and Chipotle chicken sandwich! Everything was perfect! The focaccia options all look so good! The employees were also really nice and helpful! Coming back here again!

Brisket Chimichurri on gluten free focaccia bread

Highly, highly recommend stopping here if you want to try some truly fantastic sandwiches - especially if you need to eat gluten free! I happened to find this place after I got stranded in San Diego due to a canceled flight. Nice little shop with friendly staff, a few tables outside the front. I got the brisket chimichurri sandwich on their gluten free focaccia bread - 10/10, one of the best gluten free sandwiches I'd ever eaten!!! So flavorful and well balanced, not heavy at all. The gluten free bread was spectacular. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll be sure to pay them another visit!

Seating took a little while after opening, likely because they stagger new parties to avoid overwhelming the kitchen with orders all at once. There were tons of fun brunch drinks listed on a cute, record-shaped acrylic menu, although the coffee options were pretty limited. The food menu was just as fun and whimsical, and the waitstaff were all dressed to match the theme. Everyone was efficient, friendly, and helpful. We tried the soufflé pancakes, which were good, though they weren't quite as fluffy and jiggly as Japanese soufflé pancakes. They were also quite sweet on their own, so we didn't really need the syrup. We also ordered the cheese fondue plate, which came with steamed vegetables, kielbasa, and bread cubes--a really fun concept. Overall, the atmosphere is beautiful, playful, and definitely part of the experience. I'd happily come back if I'm in the area, especially if there isn't a long wait for a table.

You can make your own tiny tacos and the macha chili was seriously the best thing ever - French fries: nice horsestring fries, cant go wrong - Tuna crudo: super light and citrusy and flavorful, but only like 5-6 pieces - Chicken skewers: this honestly fell really flat. Would not recommend, i'd say it's the worst thing on the menu and surprisingly fell short. Doesnt feel like it belongs on the menu. - Brussel Sprouts: really good and unique with a peanut butter sauce - Mac and cheese: yummy but nothing special Overall was a great experience but I'd probably only come here on special occasions. Their drinks were also fantastic - the cantaloupe was super tasty. Shoutout Ola for being the best waiter!

Something about it spiritually makes me feel a bit grounded into history. I love the fresh rosemary they place in the dish as well. Thank goodness there was room too, because wow oh wow. It has been three weeks and we keep talking about that happy hour. I ordered the Kiwilango slider + fries, my mom got the HH fish & chips, and my dad got the wagyu smash slider. Plus $10 beers, of course. Everything came out quickly and beautifully portioned, which made getting dessert (magpie ice cream cake) a no brainer. Delicious!!! I didn't stray into their full Kiwi-based dinner menu, but I can fully vouch for their happy hour, the cozy, charming vibes, kind and attentive servers, and flavorful dishes.
