If I could give less than one star I would. Absolutely horrible, slow, incompetent service providers. Front desk was trying to be nice but the situation tie their hands by not having even close to enough staff to process the business they contract for. Complaining doesn't do any good as there truly aren't responsible individuals just ridiculous hourly employees just fending off the complaints and frustrations of the patrons. Came here to get blood drawn, I pre-registered, did everything online for a "speedy check-in" and have now been sitting here for 25 minutes. You would think, in a place that seems to run long wait times the receptionist or medical assistant would be friendlier or have some sort of empathy-- wrong. I'm not sure if she's pissed because her profession, life, or for whatever reason, but 1 out of 5 people here are nice the rest must hate their lives. I only come here because it's close, otherwise I would opt for somewhere else. I'm sure these people think, "I'm a medical professional and I'm not here for customer service." And ultimately, when it comes to medical, we have no choice but to go to places with "professionals" who act like this. read more

I went here today to have labs done. I was greeted in a friendly manner. The tech who handled my labs and handled my screening was named Martha. Very friendly and professional. This was my first time here. I got out in under 30 minutes. This was a nice change from the other Quest facilities I've gone to in the past. read more

Went for urine drug screening. I thought this would take 30 minutes, it took more than 2 hours of waiting! reminded me of DMV style of sign up and wait for hours, the front desk has nothing to tell you except have a seat (but there were actually no seats available and people had to stand up, you cannot go outside for fear they would call your name when you are outside and then have to register again and wait more hours). I drank before going there so I can give them the urine sample but could not hold it for so long, after one hour and a half I asked the front desk how much longer? it is hard to hold urine for so long with a full bladder, she said just void and drink again and ...and have a seat..... Worse then DMV because most of the people there are sick and cannot tolerate waiting for so long, some are fasting and need to eat and take their medication, some took time off work to drive a disabled person...etc Most people do not think of going to the lab as a several hour or half a day ordeal. it seems they do not have enough employees to handle the work load. On the wall there are boxes with a note something like "please fill form we value your comments", however there were no forms, the boxes were empty, did they run out of forms? some patients were joking.. they only place the forms when there is a scheduled inspection!! read more

Came here today and there's paid parking but quest has validation tickets. Put your ticket in first and then pay with the validation ticket. Plenty of parking. The staff was the friendliest at all quest locations I have been to. I will be coming back here in the future. The staff was standing around, chatting, taking their sweet time in the office area. They only had two phlebotomists taking patient and doing the blood work. We sat there for over an hour in half and were never called in. It's incredibly frustrating to walk in fasting and still have to wait. When I remaining half of the people that were there waiting before I arrived were still sitting waiting for their name to be called. This is so ridiculous. read more

Very rude people !!!! bathroom was gross no paper towels hand SANITIZER toilet paper on the rolls sink was dirty. They did not clean blood room before or after people did blood work. They need to be reported. I will never go back !!!!! And I made appt I still waited at least 30 min they said they sent many text never got any !!!!! Quest Diagnostics shares the same building and outdoor parking area as the bank and parking is validated. I was unaware of both so I circled the premise several times and when I did find the building I ended up parking at Marie Callender's. Make an appointment and check in early at the tablet because you may need to fill out some paperwork and the usual present your ID and insurance card. After checking into a surprisingly very busy, but not packed, waiting room for my 10:30am appointment and filling out the necessary paperwork, my wait was no more than 10 minutes while the gentleman who came in after me had to wait an estimated 40 minutes for his walk-in. The nurse who took care of me was really nice. I can't remember her name, but she mentioned that this will be her fifth year working here. read more

Make an appointment and pray that you actually get called in at that time. Walk-ins are TERRIBLE. The time stated on the monitor shows something realistic like 15 mins ..and changes to 9.. then 5.. then 3 and stays there until you realize you've been sitting there for a freakin hour. Perfection. Fast and friendly service! Not sure why this place has many bad reviews. The ladies in the front and back office are all very nice.

Their faces aren't the friendliest, but they are multitasking and very busy, so don't expect a nice conversation. However, I had checked in and realized after about 10 mins that I forgot my paperwork at home. They paused my spot in line so that I could go back home and get the paperwork. When I came back, they brought me right back! I also never had a phlebotomist tell me what not to do so that I wouldn't bruise, until here. I bruise easily, so it was very grateful for that. read more

The girls who were at the front desk when I was here with my mom were just gossiping about one of the employees. Being that u are a "professional" they should know better than to be doing that especially in the front where people can see and hear you. If you do not have an appointment be prepared to wait for 2+ hours for a 2 minute thing. Not to mention their appearance. One of the girls looked like she had just woken up. Her hair was up in a messy messy bun and I do not think it's appropriate to come to work looking a mess. They need to hire more people to do the job cuz it seriously should not take this long. Horrible customer service. Every employee working was extremely unprofessional and having personal conversations in front of everyone in the waiting room. The guy working at the front desk was extremely rude. At one point he raised his voice at an elderly woman because he couldn't read her name since she wrote in cursive... This is for my most recent, October 1, visit. I had a 7:30am appointment and arrived at 7:25 am. I signed in and indicated my appointment time in the appropriate column. I almost grabbed a highlighter but thought better of it. I waited about 5 minutes before I was asked for the orders and insurance card. The woman acted surprised that I had completed the form. I waited another few minutes and another woman called me up to discuss pre-payment. Confused, I asked why this time and none of the other times I've been there. I didn't really like her answer...she said it was because of the number of tests I was having and because my insurance is PPO. The number of doctor-ordered tests was no more than the other 50 times I've been there but whatever. I told her to bill me. Once that was finished I thought I'd be called in soon. At 8:10am I finally approached and asked if the conversation we'd had delayed my appointment. She acted surprised I had an appointment and asked if I had written it down. I told her yes and her response was "Well, let's see." I think she was hoping to catch me lying or something. But sure enough, she turned to the sign in page and I pointed and said "It's right there." I got a profuse apology from her but the first woman who checked me in didn't say a word (it was her fault the paperwork didn't reflect the appointment). So finally I get called in and the phlebotomist apologizes for the mix up with the appointment. She proceeds to do the draw and gives me the cup for the urinalysis. This is all standard procedure for me so it's fairly routine. While performing the draw, a little girl wandered into the room then turned and walked away. I told the phlebotomist that there were unattended children wandering throughout the facility. About that time the adult responsible for this child and two other children wandered by. The phlebotomist told them to stay with their mother. So everyone was friendly and the draw went without a hitch. Why two stars? Because the process is broken. I realize that Saturday is a busy day. Having everyone - those with and those without appointments - sign in on the same sheet is bound to have someone overlooked. I've spoken with others who have had the same situation. What's the point in having appointments available if you aren't going to pay attention? The other thing that bothered me was the children wandering throughout the facility unattended. Yes it's the guardian or parent's responsibility but the staff should be aware of what's going on. They practically quizzed a young man who wanted to use the restroom but allow small children to run around. That makes no sense. I usually make my appointment for a Saturday but I'm thinking in the future I'll select another day. Maybe it'll be better. While some things have gotten much better (staff actually arrives before opening time) other things could be improved upon. read more

This place was extremely busy, that's not their fault, but it was very poorly kept up. It was dirty, they had two magazines available to peruse, and whilst I understand that they now have the automated check-in, the receptionist can at least acknowledge your presence instead of pointing at the check-in pad. read more

Walk in Customer. . They are so slow. The walk I'm customers at the whittier one in painter and montebello location is so much faster. They just drag here. Saturdays are crazy busy not even enough seats for people and last two times I went there was only 3 people in the back drawing blood. read more

I visited this Quest lab location on Friday 8/2/19. I arrived exactly at 7:30 am when they opened and the line was already pretty long. It looked like a black friday line at the mall. There were at least 20 people ahead of me. The receptionists were quick to get people checked-in. I waited about 2 hours before my name was called. Take a book or magazine. I am a hard stick and it's always been difficult to find a vein. After 2 phlebotmists, and 2 pokes, the 3rd time was a charm. Ryan, I believe was the gentlemen's name who drew my blood. He was great and very patient. Also, FYI, parking is good. They have a big lot but they do charge. The Quest lab gives you a validation ticket but I still had to pay $1.00, which is not bad. Pack your patience and make an appointment. read more

Worst place to get a drug screening . they said it would take 45 minutes. Then i stepped out to make a phone call and when i came back in asked if they had called my name. They said yes we called it a long time ago you're not supposed to leave the building. Nobody ever told me i couldn't step out. Now i have to sign in again and wait another 45 minutes. Worst place ever. Ive taken plenty of drug screens only takes 20 min max. read more

Fast service, even for walk-ins. The phlebotomist was great. Fast, no pain and just a tiny little dot to show for it. Very happy with the overall experience. Parking is free for 90 min with validation. read more

Had an appointment set up for 1 pm today that my insurance company had placed for life insurance. I arrived 15 minutes early to check in. Around 1:15 they finally asked if that was my first time there and they they had to get ahold of my insurance company because they had lost the paperwork. I said fine I'll wait. Around 1:30 I was notified that the individual who was in charge to do my lab work decided to go on lunch knowing that I had a 1:00 appointment and that he would be back around 1:40-1:45 and that the testing would take around 20 minutes. I had to leave work for the testing because I thought it would be faster for me to get the lab work done. I missed 2 hours of work that we're unpaid. All I got was a sorry and you can come in another day. They weren't even kind enough to make an early appointment for me to show up and the guy never called to apologize for not being there for the appointment. I ended up calling my insurance company and they rescheduled a nurse who will see my at my house instead. They are very unprofessional and I'll no one was there to greet you. Thanks goodness for State Farm Insurance for accommodating the lab work around my schedule and coming to me instead of going back there. read more
