Thankfully, there weren't any other patients in there. Only one patient was being seen for his labs and he finished when I completed my electronic check in. The receptionist/phlebotomist asked the doctor name to ensure that they have the lab requesition orders in their computer. Everything went smoothly. I was immediately asked to go to station 1. A male phlebotomist handled my blood draw very well. The needle injection was painless and went very smoothly. I was told that I had just missed their morning rush of patients! So I am assuming that it's best to avoid the early hours of business here. There are plenty of parking spaces at this old medical building here on Imperial Highway. I was finished in about 15 minutes.

I went in for a simple blood draw on Saturday, November 22, 2025, and the phlebotomist who worked on me was wearing long designer acrylic nails. This is a direct violation of CDC infection control guidelines that prohibit artificial nails for clinical staff due to the very real contamination risks. It also violates OSHA standards that require employers to provide safe conditions for patients. Her acrylic nails interfered with the procedure and she missed my vein. She caused significant pain and did not acknowledge it, did not apologize, and did not show even basic empathy. Hours afterward the site of the attempted draw was still painful and stinging, which is not normal for a proper venipuncture. The whole interaction felt careless, unprofessional, and unsafe. I left the site shaken and seriously questioning whether Quest has any real oversight at this location. If this is happening openly in front of patients, I do not want to imagine what is happening behind the scenes. I emailed Quest Diagnostics a detailed, formal complaint. I included the appointment code, the location, and the exact issues, along with the specific CDC and OSHA standards that were violated. It has been days and I have received no response at all. No acknowledgment. No follow up. Nothing. Their silence makes the situation even worse. When a company that handles medical samples and patient health information ignores a safety complaint of this seriousness, it tells you everything about their internal culture and priorities. I will now be escalating this beyond Quest directly. I will be filing complaints with the following agencies: * California Department of Public Health * Clinical Laboratory Field Services * OSHA No patient should have to experience this, and no one should be exposed to unsafe practices because a location chooses to ignore basic clinical standards. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere for your lab work until Quest proves that they take safety and accountability seriously.

After 20 min of waiting, I get called to the front desk and they tell me they don't have my lab requests from my doctor. They tell me I can keep my appt as long as my doctor's office, who already sent it back in March (2months ago), will resend it again. Also proceeds to tell me that if I came in 15-30 min prior to my appointment time, I would be seen on time. What logic is that? No where in the email or text confirmation does it state I need to come in earlier than my set appointment time. I call my doc office to resend it, they receive it at labcorp 15min later. They continue to have me wait and after a full hour since my appt, I still have not been called inside. They claim they keep all requests for a year but don't have my record from 2 months ago? When I do get called it, the tech asks if I have already given a urine sample, when I tell her I haven't, nothing happens. She finishes getting my blood samples and then says I can leave. I had to remind her about the urine sample, which is ridiculous! There should be a checking system to ensure they have everything from their patient before moving on. This office needs a better way to handle, organize and manage the patients info and wait time because this is unacceptable! I would be better off going to the one in Long Beach or Quest next time.

Poor operation to say the least! Went in for what I'd thought would be quick blood work but was…read morewrong. There were 3 receptionist checking people in and about 8-10 people waiting. I figured okay about 5 minutes per person. 3 receptions so I'd figured 15-30 minute wait. I was there waiting over an hour and half. Once I was called I sat there for another 10-15 minutes just verifying information they already had (insurance, address, phone number, etc.) I was given the order and sent to check in with the phlebotomist. That only took about 5 minutes to get done, thank God. However, it only took 5 minutes because they didn't have anyone waiting. So, the problem is not waiting on the phlebotomist, the problem is getting people checked in. Their system or way of checking people in needs to be improved. Too many people waiting and staff acting like no worry in the world or they just don't give a shush! People waiting began to loose their patience and I got the sense that we were on their time.

Not sure if it'll happen as I already have the standing appointment. The self service kiosk is easy to use, there are four machines near the entrance. Plenty of parking spaces here at the medical plaza. There's a constant arrival of patients, so not likely to be seen earlier than the appointment time. I have no idea when walk-ins would be seen as appointments have priority. I don't recommend trying to get here any earlier than ten minutes. The restrooms are clean, however, there's no wall mounted soap dispenser. That's such a big miss! Super silly having that gallon sized pump hand soap on the cabinet away from the sink. The hand dryer works well, there are no paper towels. This one is weird too, I was given a small plastic double Dixie cup with lid instead of the medical grade plastic urine collection cup. Hmm... Not sure if that was because I had to go before she had a jar ready and labeled. My phlebotomist was professional, yes. But she wasn't as good as the other one I had previously. All I care about is that they're able to collect the blood sample on the first insertion of the needle. Don't miss! Haha.

The waiting room is large and they have long business hours from 5a-5pm. I don't love getting my lab drawn in general but I am happy to have this location close to my house. Mobile check in is nice.

I've been waiting in the walk up line for about 4 hours now…read more There's barely enough seats in the lobby and way to many patients. Patients are coming in and waiting longer than their scheduled wait times. I feel forcing elderly people to use the tablet to check in feels discriminatory because not all elderly know how too, also assuming that all people know how to use technology or want too is not good ether. These older people come in looking for someone to talk too and get a cold screen waiting for hours. Thats probably why they got rid of the front desk, so nobody can complain about the wait times. This company has got to get their facilities efficiency better. Very inconsiderate of their patients time & health.
