After weeks of dealing with a equilibrium issue. I finally had enough and went to After Hours Walk-In Clinic. I'd been here once before, since then they'd repainted and really spruced up the facility. The staff is extremely nice. I was seen within :30 minutes. The MA & NP were very nice, I didn't feel rushed at all. With a through exam for my issue, I was given a Rx to pick up at my pharmacy. Hopefully in a few days I'll be feeling better. One and only drawback---The most uncomfortable chairs in the world !!! Waiting room and Exam rooms.

Clean & beautiful reception area.

When you post a 5 star review, Yelp says: "WOHOO, AS GOOD AS IT GETS!" - and that's precisely how I feel about Dr. Mohammedi & his staff at After Hours Urgent Care. Everything about my experience here deserves a perfect rating: Friendly & accommodating staff: A+ Beautiful & updated clinic: A+ Evening & Saturday hours: A+ Doctor's bedside manner: A+ Dr. Mohammedi is honestly one-of-a-kind. He is caring and concerned and he listens. I feel lucky to have found such a knowledgeable and gentle doctor. He took care of my concerns and I'm very happy. On other occasions I've been treated by his supporting staff members and my experience has always been positive. Always professional & friendly service. I would (and do) recommend this urgent care to everyone.

Stephen the PA was great. Professional and quick to assess and get what I needed. Everyone was great. Wish I had came here the first time around! Great experience! Side note the pediatricians here are great!! This is the only trusted urgent care I bring my son to because pediatricians always see him which I know he's getting the best care possible. The doctor seemed rushed and did not take the time to listen to my concerns or fully understand what I was experiencing. His bedside manner was not friendly, and I felt dismissed during the visit. After a brief examination, he prescribed two medications. However, when I arrived at the pharmacy, I discovered that only one prescription had been sent, and the other had been forgotten. This caused additional frustration and delayed my treatment. When patients come to urgent care, especially when they are in significant pain, they deserve to feel heard, respected, and cared for. Sadly, that was not my experience here.

The office was clean, I had a co-pay of $25 and the doctor was nice but he gave me poor medical care. He said " I won't diagnose it as __ but we will treat it as ___ ". Confusing but I received a prescription so I was pleased. My symptoms became painful throughout the day so I called my physicians office and they couldn't see me until 2 days. By my appointment all my symptoms had severely intensified. My physician took one look at me and knew what was going on. I received a steroid shot, pain medication and a referral to see a specialist that same day. Symptoms got better and I saw the specialist with a co-pay of $65. Received the proper care and moved on with life. A month later I receive a text from carbon saying "your bill is ready from your visit". To make things more ridiculous it was due in 5 days and of courses they were automatically charging it. No explanation just a bill so I emailed them for an itemized bill as my insurance didn't send me anything saying they didn't cover the full visit. They have yet to respond. Read the other 1 star reviews (I wish I had) and take your medical concerns elsewhere.

The nurses were amazing! Unfortunately, my second visit was for my teenage daughter, who broke her ankle playing volleyball. This time, I made sure to ask for the names of the provider and nurse because they absolutely deserve to be acknowledged. Frank and Carol, thank you for doing your jobs with both passion and compassion. You made a stressful situation a little easier for us, and that truly matters. If my family or I ever need emergency care again, I will definitely continue to choose this ER. Thank you for the excellent care!

While being admitted I could not eat & had been waiting for a specific doctor to come in & speak to me regarding the issues. Every time I would call a nurse with the call button , no one would pick up & not one nurse would come to the room to help me use the restroom. I kept asking my nurses when I would be discharged or what was going on with me & every time I would ask a nurse what was wrong with me, I would get a different story or receive the answer, "uhmmmmmm, let me check & get back to you" but did they ever get back to me about my results about ANY tests?!?! NO. Also while being admitted they changed my diet & they ended up giving me something I could not eat, NO ONE asked me about my allergies about food or what I did or do not eat. I could not receive a new or different plate, so I did not eat. Next time I will count my blessings about being healthy before I ever step foot in this place again. Plus, PIH while being admitted there they give you a box to keep yourself clean containing, bath clothes, toothpastes, toothbrush, shampoo & conditioner. Not one time did this place ask if I wanted to get clean. Ew

Peace of Mind Is Everything Here's the thing about having a…read morebrain aneurysm: you have to take a headache a little more seriously than the average person. Now, I'm the kind of person who will let things go for a LONG time before deciding to go to the hospital. There's always a whole dramatic debate happening in my head. Should I go? Should I wait? Am I overreacting? I ponder until the pain finally convinces me that maybe it's time to get checked out. And that's exactly what brought me to PIH Whittier's ER at 11 PM. The last time I was here, I received a very strict lesson on the do's and don'ts of living with a brain aneurysm. Let's just say the list is not exactly a party invitation! No walking more than 2,000 steps, no caffeine ,no orgasms, no alcohol, and pretty much doing everything possible to avoid vomiting because, apparently, we don't want to blow a gasket up there. I've genuinely tried my best to follow the rules, but lately, I've been experiencing some really bad headaches. As much as I hate going to the hospital, I knew I needed to get checked out. I'm so grateful I went. My results came back clear, and while I know I still have to be careful, that peace of mind is absolutely priceless. When you're living with something like this, you can't always assume a headache is just a headache. Sometimes you need medical professionals to help you figure out what's going on. And let's talk about my mom, because she deserves her own five stars! Thank you for going with me at 11 PM, sitting with me in that freezing, bright ER room, and keeping me company through the whole experience. The highlight was somehow managing to cuddle together on a twin-size hospital bed like two sardines. Nothing says mother-daughter bonding quite like an emergency room sleepover! A huge THANK YOU to the nurses and doctors who went above and beyond to make sure I was okay, answer my concerns, and give me reassurance when I needed it most. And an extra thank-you for that cozy, warm blanket for my mom! It's the little things that make a stressful night a little easier. Nobody wants to spend their night in the emergency room, but when you're scared and worried about your health, having a caring medical team makes such a difference. Thank you, PIH Whittier, for helping me get answers and giving me the peace of mind I needed. And thank you to my mama for always being there when I need you.

I recently was admitted to PIH Hospital and my time here was actually pleasant…read more The care I received was superb! Nurse Tank & Aide Jonelle truly have amazing, top quality bedside manner. Despite the situation they made me feel at ease and I truly was given excellent care, not just by them but everyone I encountered here. Honestly the food wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst either. I was able to eat just fine. On some days it was likely the medicine throwing off my palate. I highly recommend to PIH that they partner with a lot more ENT's, in general a lot more specialists because in cases where you need a specialist you should have someone that can come to the hospital and not have to send your patients outpatient. This can cause a lot more stress to a patient. Overall though I am grateful I came to PIH, what could have been a life threatening infection was taken care of immediately by dedicated professionals. God really took care of me this time around and ensured I was surrounded by top quality people. Thank you to all but special thanks to Trank & Jonelle.
