Went here to have a drug screen. came here at 1:45pm and let us wait for more than 1 hour. this place is the worst more than 1 hr just to let you pee in a cup. and the receptionist are not friendly. i see a lot of people leavinng bec they are so slow. compare to lab corp where i went for drugscreen i just walked in and was finished for 5 mins. what is going with this place. are they not being paid well that is why they work so slow and unsystematically. pls if you can prevent on coming to this place. pls do not come. this place is the worst!!!! read more

The reception folks and office staff are completely dis-organized. It is always a train wreck to get back to the technicians, I alway get a reservation, and that doesn't really seem to help, I have been for blood tests probably 10-12 times, and they have never got the paper work, insurance card, etc. correct yet....Once you get to the technicians you have it made, they all seem to be compitent and clean procedures. They have a meter parking and give you 1/2 hour of free time....I have always had to pay a dollar, do to the office mess ups. read more

This was the first and last time I come to this place. I'm not sure who's running the circus here but the experience disgusted me. I arrived for a health screening at 10 am today and the technician that was assigned to see me did not preform most of the tasks properly. I was first told to stand on the scale to be weighed. During the weigh process I pointed out to the technician that she did not properly secure the weight on the scale that measured increments of 50lbs. This resulted in an inaccurate reading of my weight that was about 15 pounds off. The next step was to check my blood pressure. The technician asked me to roll up my sleeve so she could apply the blood pressure cuff. While she leaned over the desk to do this it turned out she had an ink pen in her right hand. As she struggled to apply the cuff with both hands and the pen in her right hand, she marked up the pocket of the hoodie I was wearing with ink scribbles. After multiple attempts to get an accurate reading, the technician asked me to go wait in room #6 so she could draw a blood sample. As I waited there, I could see into multiple rooms where blood samples were being taken from other patients. I saw about 4 patients give blood samples and not once did I see any of the technicians disinfect the the work stations before or after a patient gave a blood sample. This made sick!! After 10 minutes of waiting, the tech assigned to me came to my room because she forgot to measure my waist. First she measured a 23, then the she measured a 42, then she measured a - well you get the picture. Shortly after this she asked me to sit in a chair and took my blood. I made sure the work station and my arm were properly sanitized before she took a blood sample. To my utter AMAZEMENT this is the one task she preformed really well. I didn't feel a thing and the process was rather quick. After this, she asked me to wait while she printed out a document she needed me to sign. As I sat there, I looked around the room...and man oh man are they lucky my phone was dead because I would have had a field day with the pictures I would have taken and posted here - Open drawers and containers of lab equipment everywhere!! The trash bins had dirty used gloves hanging off the side of the bin along with what appeared to be the lids of those urine cups you pee in on the floor next to the trash bin. Gross!! There were various blood vials improperly placed on holding trays next to a dirty sink that had hard water spots all over them. Looking back on it I should have walked out of this place at some point...I strongly urge anyone thinking of coming here to reconsider. This place is focused in getting you in and out fairly quickly however they are not concerned with accuracy, environmental safety, cleanliness, or if they scribble on your clothes. read more

I came to this lab on February 17 2016 for routine lab work. I come every three months for work for my own health issues. I made an appointment in advance for a 7:45AM time. When I arrived at 7:25 there was a HUGE line outside the door. The door says they open at 7:30AM but they didn't open until 7:35AM. After a wait in line and the sign in process it was my appointment time and I didn't get called promptly. Finally at 8:00AM I get called in to the room for bloodwork. As I am sitting in the chair waiting for the phlebotomist to come in I am hearing some raised voices in the next room. Before I know it this one tech is SCREAMING at the other lab tech , a guy, who is asking her to lower her voice. Her words exactly? "Don't fucking tell me to fucking lower my voice." Ummm, I am sitting in the chair basically waiting for a gun fight at the OK Corral. They are continuing to argue with the female tech getting louder and louder with no consideration for the patients in the other room. Finally my phlebotomist arrives and sits in a chair facing AWAY from me and says, "name?, date of birth?, doctor?" At least have the courtesy to communicate directly to me not facing away from me. I am not Zac Efron but I hardly think that I cause tremors upon sight. She walks over to me and I tell her, "I have very difficult veins and it takes a little work to find them." She just stares at me and ties the rubber around my arm and starts tapping my arms. She then finds a vein she thinks is sufficient and starts to prepare for the injection. I advised her that the vein often collapses and will bruise. She ignores me. She jabs the needle in regardless. It hurt more than a whore who was gang raped. I tell her how bad it hurts and that in all my lab experiences the pain level has never been that bad. She tells me, "stop exaggerating" and continues with the tests. Meanwhile the two other lab techs are arguing in the hallway for everyone in the facility to hear. It's getting louder and louder. Finally the female tech who was swearing up a blue streak, better than a navy sailor coming in to port, walks away saying out loud, "then don't fucking hide shit". My test is coming to a conclusion and I tell the phlebotomist that this was my worst experience ever and that I will never let her touch me again. My arm is bruising as I type this review. As I walking down the hallway to the exit, the two techs who were arguing are fighting in an office with a manager present (I assume it was a manager) and the girl who was out of control is saying she never raised her voice. At that very moment the whole waiting room was dead silent all listening to the continuing freak show happening. This is the height of unprofessional behavior in a medical facility. There is NO excuse for this type of drama happening in front of patients waiting to be serviced and tested. Look for a facility with a little more professionalism and concern for their patients. I will be advising everyone I meet to avoid this type of setting. As I witnessed here on Yelp, the ratings for this center are abysmal and it should be avoided. Shame on you Quest, this was the worst experience of my entire medical life. read more

You have the ability to make an appointment here online which I did for a drug test needed to start a new job. The website SHOULD NOT allow for multiple bookings. I took my lunch hour to come here after having made an appointment to learn there was only one person doing drug screenings yet there were multiple appointments scheduled at the same time. My name was called after 48 minutes of waiting only to be greeted by a woman who had an attitude of "we're busy what can I say get over it". Thankfully my current employer was understanding in my late return but the multiple bookings at once and the attitude of the employees is unacceptable. read more

Blood draw this morning. Saturday morning. Fasting, so I was expecting to be cranky, also because I was a walk in. Facility opened at 7am and I was there at 7 on the dot. I was met by at least 30 other appointment-less souls expecting to wait several hours (FYI, arrive early next time). To my pleasant surprise, the ladies working the counter were polite, very efficient, and had me out of there in under an hour. Facility was clean, nurses were polite. Overall, the best experience I've had at a crowded Quest Diagnostics. read more

Ok. So, my wife has thin veins, low BP, and has ALWAYS had trouble getting blood drawn. Other bozos have had to jab her arm several times, leaving bruises and scars. Other bozos have used a large or medium sized needle when she has told them that it has always been more effective with a smaller needle. Some of the bozos poked her right arm full of holes, just to have to switch and poke more holes in the other arm. BUT, Nancy over here at the Whittier Blvd. office did an amazing job. No pain. No hassle. No fuss. She drew 13 vials before we even knew what was happening. Go here. Ask for Nancy. read more

Quest used to be my favorite place to get my blood drawn but not anymore. When this place first opened it was great. Now, they seem to always be understaffed and not customer service oriented. It seems whether there are 50 people or 5 people waiting, I wait forever. read more

Initially, service and wait time was great. Then, the horror began. The phlebotomist drew blood from my daughter without swabbing the area with alcohol. She had her back to me when the test was performed and I noticed that she did not discard an alcohol pad. I should have questioned it right then, but my mistake - I didn't. When I got to the car, I asked my daughter if it was swabbed, and she said "no - I thought that was weird. I immediately called to report it and phlebotomist S. of course denied it, which implies my daughter (who is 18) is a liar. I asked to speak to a supervisor, who of course was not there. I had no motive other than to make a written record of the incident in case my daughter developed an infection. I have called again and after 2days, the supervisor has not returned my call. I also called the Quest regional office and after 24 hrs have not returned the call. Very unprofessional. read more
