I frequently come here to get my blood drawn per doctor's orderers and the process is always easy and efficient. The office is always clean and well maintained plus there's plenty of parking. The MyQuest app is intuitive where I can conveniently schedule an appointment. Upon arrival the staff is notified by simply clicking on the text link provided. I'm automatically added to the wait list that's displayed on the message board. The staff are always friendly, polite, and attentive. The Phlebotomists are professional, precise, and informative. I came here last week and had my results the next day! Great and seamless process!

    Blood work

I'm not really sure how she did it, but this is how it turned out to be. I have done blood work many times in the past, but this is definitely one of the worst one.

There are no more clerks BUT this was more frustrating for the lab technicians and patients.

I went in for a simple blood draw on Saturday, November 22, 2025, and the phlebotomist who worked on me was wearing long designer acrylic nails. This is a direct violation of CDC infection control guidelines that prohibit artificial nails for clinical staff due to the very real contamination risks. It also violates OSHA standards that require employers to provide safe conditions for patients. Her acrylic nails interfered with the procedure and she missed my vein. She caused significant pain and did not acknowledge it, did not apologize, and did not show even basic empathy. Hours afterward the site of the attempted draw was still painful and stinging, which is not normal for a proper venipuncture. The whole interaction felt careless, unprofessional, and unsafe. I left the site shaken and seriously questioning whether Quest has any real oversight at this location. If this is happening openly in front of patients, I do not want to imagine what is happening behind the scenes. I emailed Quest Diagnostics a detailed, formal complaint. I included the appointment code, the location, and the exact issues, along with the specific CDC and OSHA standards that were violated. It has been days and I have received no response at all. No acknowledgment. No follow up. Nothing. Their silence makes the situation even worse. When a company that handles medical samples and patient health information ignores a safety complaint of this seriousness, it tells you everything about their internal culture and priorities. I will now be escalating this beyond Quest directly. I will be filing complaints with the following agencies: * California Department of Public Health * Clinical Laboratory Field Services * OSHA No patient should have to experience this, and no one should be exposed to unsafe practices because a location chooses to ignore basic clinical standards. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere for your lab work until Quest proves that they take safety and accountability seriously.

I hope the PIH management sees this review. I seldom write reviews, but as a business owner myself,…read moreI felt disappointed by my experience here because it seemed like the office was not being properly managed. Here are my observations: 1. The front desk staff member spoke extremely loudly and came across as intimidating. Since this is a healthcare facility governed by HIPAA, I was very concerned that a patient's medical information was being discussed loudly enough for others in the waiting area to hear. The patient was speaking softly, yet the front desk staff member continued speaking at a volume that felt highly inappropriate and unprofessional. 2. The same staff member also handled questions in an unprofessional manner. There were only two patients in the waiting area, including myself, and I politely asked how long the blood draw process might take because it was already 11 AM and I had been fasting. Her response was that it would take 30 minutes just to check my insurance, delivered in a loud and dismissive tone. 3. Healthcare offices should provide not only efficiency, but also compassion and professionalism. Front desk staff are often the first point of contact for patients, and proper training in communication, empathy, and patient privacy is extremely important. I truly hope management takes patient experience and professionalism more seriously moving forward.

Which are very more aware and squirmy. The process took about 3ish hours because we wanted to get the numbing cream which they take their time in making sure she is numb. Once it's set in the process of actually piercing her ears was so quick! The Dr. is very sweet and took her time. I never once felt rushed out of here. One of her ears got a little reaction to the cream ,so she felt it a bit but the other one she didn't even notice it being done. In my opinion it was great doing it at a later age since alot of babies were crying so much and it hurt my heart!! So highly recommend waiting to be able to use the numbing cream. She cried a bit and was over it. I also want to add I know there is a preference on piercing gun and just a needle because they say the healing process is different but my daughter has already a few weeks healing and she has not had any problems from the piercing gun.

Dr. Muñoz is very trustworthy and I can't even begin to explain enough reasons why. 2 years ago,…read morewhen my son was a newborn, Dr. Muñoz came to visit at PIH hospital where she immediately caught red flags in my newborn son, that the nurses and staff overlooked. Because of Dr. Muñoz my son was evaluated immediately into the NICU where he spent 4 days into proper care and healing. In addition, I have 2 toddlers now who are non-verbal on the spectrum, which can be very difficult to understand when they might be bothered by any sickness as they cannot communicate. However, Dr. Muñoz has always been able to identify and clearly name any sickness they have gone through and has always been on point. With her judgement, they've always received speedy recovery and care. Ever since her discernment with my newborn son 2 years ago, she has completely gained my trust! Not to mention how incredibly kind and compassionate she was towards me as a mama in post-partum, always asking with genuine care how I was doing. I love this office and their friendly staff so much! I highly recommend this practice to any mamas out there whom are looking for a trustworthy office!
