The staff member who assisted me told me to drink water, wait 45 minutes in the lobby without leaving, and then return when I was ready to provide another sample. After waiting the full 45 minutes, I let the staff know I was ready, only to be told that the employee who started my registration had gone to lunch, and no one knew when she would return. I explained that I urgently needed to use the restroom, but instead of offering a solution or having another staff member continue the process, I was told that only the original employee could complete it. If a particular staff member starts the registration and collection process with a patient, she should finish the entire process before leaving for her break. It is completely unreasonable to leave a patient waiting in discomfort when the situation is time-sensitive and physically urgent. This is unacceptable. No patient should be left in a position where they have to "hold it" for an unknown amount of time. I ended up leaving because I was told the employee might be back in 15 minutes, and I knew I could not wait that long. I contacted the manager to report the issue. I am very upset with how the situation was handled and will not return to this location. I do not recommend this office to anyone.

Also, do not think that when you check in online, and get the text that you are getting called for your appointment. She seemed to have a hard time understanding the process, and honestly she did not care. She was doing whatever she wanted to do, and did not care what anyone had to say. This office is not well run with patients standing and waiting out in the hallway too. I was not the only patient complaining either as I was walking out. A Heartfelt Thank You to Hackensack Hospital and the PICU Team…read more From the moment we arrived at Hackensack Hospital, I knew we were in caring hands. What we were going through was incredibly scary and overwhelming, but the doctors, nurses, PCAs, and entire PICU team made an experience that was so frightening feel a little easier for our family. I cannot fully express how grateful I am for Dr. Ali and his entire team. The compassion, professionalism, patience, and dedication they showed us meant more than words can say. They not only cared for my child medically, but they also gave us reassurance and comfort during one of the most difficult moments of our lives. And the nurses--WOW! I want to give a very special thank-you to Claire, Thalia, Mia, and Joan. Your kindness, compassion, and the way you cared for us will never be forgotten. You made us feel heard, supported, and safe when we needed it most. I also want to recognize the PCAs, including Ari and Ktis. You welcomed us with such warmth and kindness and made us feel like we were not alone. Every little act of kindness made a difference. The PICU team was truly amazing. There are honestly no words that can fully express how thankful I am for every person who played a part in our care. Each doctor, nurse, PCA, and staff member contributed to making an incredibly difficult experience more bearable. Most importantly, I thank GOD for bringing each and every one of these individuals into our path. I prayed for strength, guidance, and healing, and I am so grateful for the people God placed around us during this journey. To everyone at Hackensack Hospital: THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. I will forever be grateful for the care, compassion, patience, and love you showed my child and our family. You didn't just take care of a patient--you took care of a family during a moment when we were scared and vulnerable. For that, I will always be thankful. May God bless every doctor, nurse, PCA, and staff member who cared for us. You are truly appreciated, and you will never be forgotten. With heartfelt gratitude, Nunnally Family
