My prospective employer sent me here for drug testing. So this place is fairly new, it's been here for 3 months or so. Staff here are helpful, cordial and accommodating. Specifically Glevis, she was extremely helpful and nice. I made my drug screening appointment for 1100, but because I dropped off my wife at the bus stop earlier in the morning, I decided to stop by and get it done earlier than my scheduled appointment. I met Glevis (she's at the front desk) at 0825 and she explained that Drug Screening tests are done after 1000. I noticed coming in on their front entrance doors a sign that specifically said so, but I disregarded thinking that it was probably old and didn't apply anymore, well I was wrong lol Before arriving at this Lab Corp I made sure I drank plenty of water so this way I can get the urge to urinate and get it done. That was a mistake, since the screening won't commence in 90 minutes. I waited while surfing through my emails, internet, etc.. By 0925 I really had the urge to urinate and I asked if I can use the bathroom. Glevis was kind enough to allow me to take the test earlier than usual because it's a urine test and I had to...well..urinate badly lol Don't know how it is with bloodwork but I highly recommend this place for drug screening. Had an appointment showed up and they were closed. No one let me know they wouldn't be open no one tried to reschedule.

I had a very unpleasant experience at this LabCorp location. I came in for a urine drug screen, but my initial sample wasn't large enough. The staff member who assisted me told me to drink water, wait 45 minutes in the lobby without leaving, and then return when I was ready to provide another sample. After waiting the full 45 minutes, I let the staff know I was ready, only to be told that the employee who started my registration had gone to lunch, and no one knew when she would return. I explained that I urgently needed to use the restroom, but instead of offering a solution or having another staff member continue the process, I was told that only the original employee could complete it. If a particular staff member starts the registration and collection process with a patient, she should finish the entire process before leaving for her break. It is completely unreasonable to leave a patient waiting in discomfort when the situation is time-sensitive and physically urgent. This is unacceptable. No patient should be left in a position where they have to "hold it" for an unknown amount of time. I ended up leaving because I was told the employee might be back in 15 minutes, and I knew I could not wait that long. I contacted the manager to report the issue. I am very upset with how the situation was handled and will not return to this location. I do not recommend this office to anyone. read more

This place is almost impossible to find. It's located in a big apartment building. When you go through the front doors go to the elevator on your right hand side, go up to level 2, and through the hallway on your left hand side is the office. I've been here twice and both times the front secretaries were SO FREAKIN RUDE. The only one who is nice is the young dark haired girl. And the guy who collects the urine (tall, dark haired guy) is also very friendly. They are open at 7AM so I came early so I could get my errands done throughout the morning before going to work. I arrived around 8AM and was told THEY DO NOT DO URINE TESTS UNTIL 11AM !!!! WHAT THE HECK. I was super annoyed.. I hope I never have to come back here again lol read more

I have never in my life encountered a more miserable staff then I have at this joint. What rude group of individuals. They have no patience for anyone and just plain old rude to you. They don't explain anything at all, don't greet people, never smile. If you are so f'n miserable get a different job. I am a hairdresser and have to deal with nasty clients all day. And I get it but at the same time I have to greet and smile wether I like it or not.. ITS CALLED GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE! And when you are dealing with the public it should be mandatory, especially in a medical environment. This place is also old, dingy, and because of that looks absolutely filthy. When you are going to get your labs done it should look like a dump. The seats in the waiting room are torn in places and the floors are a nice shade of piss yellow around the base boards. I have been to this facility twice now and have had a positive experience each time. Located at the end of a strip mall, it's easy to find parking. I made my appointment on line and created an account and registered on line as well. Upon a arrival, I chose the wait in car option. Within 5 minutes of notifying that I was there, I received a text to enter. Perhaps it was the time of day - I chose 9:00am both times - but I went right in, presented my lab requisition at the front, and went straight back in to the tech. Both times, I found the techs to be professional and pleasant. I took away 1 star because, unlike last year, it seems the mask requirement was dropped. I know there are mandates that are being dropped, but as far as I know, they are still in place in healthcare facilities? Although the staff all were masked, some patients walking in were, and a few weren't. I didn't have to sit in the waiting area, but if I did I would have been uncomfortable. read more

Horrible customer service from the woman behind the counter who barely spoke the English language. Stopped to just drop off a specimen and besides the fact I could hardly comprehend what she was saying she had an attitude to boot. When you are working with the public, it kinda helps to have the disposition to be able to do so. She should be in McDonald's frying fries in the back. read more

I was very pleased at the service received at this location. The staff is courteous and professional. The facility is immaculate and the cheerful holiday decorations were welcoming. I had an appointment and was in and out in under 7 minutes. Although I had routine blood work, my veins are difficult to access due to extensive chemo in the past. Doctors and nurses have tried, but jab at my veins until they are badly bruised and they still can not draw blood. Fortunately, I have found an angel named Glevis and followed her from the Ridgewood location. She is kind and gentle. Most importantly, she is a PRO! She's able to draw blood on first attempt and I rarely even feel the needle. I have blood analyzed rather frequently and can not imagine going elsewhere. read more

I miss Quest Labs. This is the lab covered by my new health plan, so I don't have an option. If you do, go down the street where they have private rooms and polite conversation while they draw blood. Here, they have curtains in a crowded room so you can hear others screaming and feel like you're going to catch the plague. The lady behind the desk was very nice, but that was the only highlight. Removal of the needle was an especially painful experience (this from someone who has blood work often). Make a reservation online if you must come here - you get to skip the line! Been here two times. One time for my kids and the other for me. Both times without an appointment. No wait time. Everyone was nice and polite, they were really good with my kids. The office was very clean. First time there I had trouble looking for parking but once I did it was easy the next time. Parking is around back. Just tell the parking attendant your there for LabCorps and they'll give you a pass and tell you to park on the roof. Once you park go through glass doors and down one flight of stairs and it's on the right. Hope that helps. read more

This place is not accessible for people with wheelchairs. The parking situation is unclear. You need to go around the block to access patient parking. This lab should be closed for good of all people, please do not go there, they are rude, uneducated, they are obviously not paid enough to care. This location has no consideration for people's time nor do they care to notify you that you will be waiting more than an hour. I came in for a pre employment drug screen which they only perform between 11am and 2pm. I arrived at 11:35am and after waiting an hour I heard one of the employees tell a client that the person who does the drug screens was out to lunch and we had to wait until she returned. You would think that if they only did drug screens during those times they would not have the person take a break smack dab in the middle of that window. They were unapologetic and unprofessional. I will not return here nor recommend them to anyone else. They need better management or leadership. read more

Had my employee wellness and body measurement last Friday. It was A very pleasant experience. The new location is easy to find and the place is really clean. I checked in and checked out in a zippy. Amber,who did the testing, was very professional and did a very good job. I have a difficult vein to access and she got it with one try! Because of her,I give this facility 5 stars. Absolute worst experience ever at a medical facility. Came to this location for a pre-scheduled employment screening. When I arrived the receptionist (very loud and nasty) announced, "We do not take appointments for drug screenings after 2PM." I had scheduled an appointment online using LabCorp's corporate website for 2:15PM. The woman proceeds: "We cannot take people after 2PM because we can't wait forever for you to pee and my day ends at 3PM." After some persistence, the receptions finally agrees to allow me to take my scheduled test and screams to someone in the back "We cannot take people after 2PM anymore." To make the situation even worse, as I waited, another women with a different skintone than mine (but the same as the receptionist) came up with a scheduled appointment and the receptionist treated her with respect and did not state that there are not appointments after 2PM. Corporate LabCorp needs to ensure that their locations are honoring online appointments, teach receptionists basic professional behavior, and set protocol for equal and respectful treatment of all people who come to this facility P.S. This place is also impossible to find! No signs from Prospect Avenue. Need to go on a road behind an large apartment complex and wind your way up to the top of a garage. read more

Worst place ever. I drove by the building 3 times before i found it. No sign at all. Then i was told parking is around the corner. I got inside to find the rudest person at the counter. I tried to explain my heath situation to the lady by the counter abd she was so loud repeating what i was saying that i had to tell her not to scream as i was right next to her... This staff needs a course in the art of communication. I have never experienced any extended wait time nor lack of communication by any LabCorp staff, as I did today. During a pandemic, let me just mention, this waiting room had no less than 35 individuals on top of each other. Upon entering the facility, you must check in on their electronic stations, as we all know, and then you are to be called once they have received your information. Today I was a walk-in client, and anticipated perhaps a 30-minute wait time, because I did not have an appointment and it's COVID season (slower, more precaution are EXPECTED). After checking in, I approached the front desk person who confirmed she saw my name on her side of the computer, and directed me to have a seat. ONE HOUR later, and I am STILL not called (along with others I noticed who were there waiting before me). More clients come and go. As I approach the SAME front desk person, she informs ONLY me, that my name is not on her checked-in list (ALL OF A SUDDEN). Stating, "the system just went down, and whoever checked-in prior to the system resetting itself, is no longer visible on our end." ....She did not have the common sense, nor communication skills, to inform ALL those who have been waiting that her system crashed, and none of us where on her current list. THEREFORE, wasting all of our time and increasing our frustration. She had the audacity to tell me " you can write your name down on this written check in sheet," which had 7 other people on it who JUST WALKED IN. An hour and a half, and not seen. I let her know how I felt, walked out of the Hackensack LabCorp, drove to Fair Lawn LabCorp. Despite this location being empty, cleaner, and less crowded, the staff there, immediately GREETED me as soon as I checked in. I did not even have a chance to sit down, before I was already called to review my documentations. I was IN AND OUT in 10 minutes -- which is what I am used to experiencing with my monthly routine lab work in the following locations: Lyndhurst, Clifton, Fort Lee. The wait time I experienced today at Hackensack was absurd and even LESS TOLERABLE during this pandemic COVID-19 season. There is absolutely NO REASON why there were so many individuals waiting in that waiting room - for everyone's health sake. However, you could hear the phlebotomists giggling and confused with the issues with the system themselves, instead of informing us, communicating with us, and attending us as efficiently as they could. DO NOT GO HERE, if you can, definitely visit any other their other locations. P.S. -- THERE WAS NO SANITATION BEING DONE IN HACKENSACK, compared to Fair Lawn, which was sanitized TWICE in the 10 minutes I was in there. AVOID AVOID AVOID read more

I almost didn't go because of all the negative reviews, but I have to say, I have no complaints. I made an on-line appointment for 10:00 a.m., was out and back to work by 10:45. This includes driving, parking, and labwork. My interest is in speed, I don't need friendly people (though that's always nice), so I was very happy. If you are going here, the office is in the back of a residential building, so take the street beside the building, and to into the parking garage. The most disgusting place in medical field ! I took my child there for blood work last Saturday and was waiting forever because they were short staff. I think they had 2 phlebotomists and waiting room was packed. So, when I was called to come in about 5-6 people were waiting inside for blood work. The phlebotomist , was not polite at all and looked like she didn't wanna be there, that's first. Second , and the most important thing. She drew blood and collected urine sample on about 6 patients in front of my eyes and didn't wash her hands once. She was just changing the gloves between the patients. Not to mention that she was lazy to throw the tourniquets in the trash can after each patient, she just had them all over the floor on both sides of the phlebotomy chairs. Then, she was gonna draw blood on my child (7) who by the way needed 4 tubes of blood with a regular needle . When I asked her why doesn't she use a butterfly needle, she completely changed her face expression and told me with attitude because he had a good vein. Are you kidding me ??!!!!! He's a child and everyone should use butterfly needle on kids. And even though she used the butterfly needle she still was digging in his arm. Can you imagine what would have happened if she was using the regular needle? This place is gross and disgusting. Phlebotomists are not doing what they should, and STATE inspection should be called on them asap. Which I will today ! Do me a favor, if you don't wanna get sick Do Not go to this place, because it will happen to people. I will never ever go back there and will make sure to tell everyone about this. read more
