"We welcome walk-ins" more like, "We welcome walk-ins to wait 2-3 hours" people arrived 1 hour to 30 minutes before their appointment time and they even get to go in first. I'm the first one as walk-in for the day is 10 am and no call at all. There are other 5 people as walk-ins. They will wait another 2 hours after me for sure. I'll not coming back here anymore, you shouldn't neither.

I'm now at QUEST for my bloodwork.
Ej M.

My video conference with my dietitian maritza on monday concluded with the need for additional blood work to make sure that it's not more serious. I had a new phlebotomist .... lol and you know what... I can't remember his name. But he continued the basic principle of painless needlework! Lol come on in and try it for yourself!

I donate blood often to the Red Cross and I had blood tests for many years (I'm 67). It is often difficult to do my blood draw because I have rolling veins. Martha did it easily, quickly, on the first try with no pain or jabbing and no bruise!!! She is friendly and highly professional.

Another thing is a lot of walk ins were seen before people with an appointment. I had to wait 2+ hours to get blood drawn. This facility needs to be ran more appropriately. And there is accessible water in this unit number. I was looking at the elderly waiting with me and it's terrible that there wasn't accessible water. Overall, I do not recommend a place that doesn't take care of its patients, show a little compassion for elderly that are trying to check in on the kiosk. This place is horrendous. I would suggest going to the Quest in Arcadia which has much more workers, bigger facility and you get in and out of there according to your time of appointment. In fact I was seen about 45 minutes before my appointment time.

Parking lot is NOT free unless you can get in and out in less than 15 mins, best option is to park on street in neighboring area! The line was out the door, and the receptionist was not only slow but actively hostile, snapping at patients and treating anyone who didn't immediately understand her with open contempt. There was only one phlebotomist drawing blood, and she also seemed overwhelmed and irritated. When I placed my belongings on an empty chair, she snapped at me: "Don't put your things there." This place is disorganized, understaffed, and completely unprofessional. It's a healthcare facility--people come here already stressed or unwell, and the last thing they need is to be treated like a burden. Avoid this location at all costs. Definitely do not let your family members here either. The receptionist was berating customers in multiple languages.

We arrived and I signed in with the Ipads on the counter. We arrived at 11:00 a.m. It was 2:00 p.m. and the workers kept announcing that the system was down. After a few of their announcements, they placed a clipboard on a counter and stated,"if you have printed orders from the doctor, sign in on this sheet, and they placed the clipboard on the counter where the Ipads were located. People kept coming in. There was a young blonde hair young girl sitting on one of the desks. As more people walked in, she stated," our system is down. Its getting close to 3 and we will only take the patients with an appointment. "It's close to 3 now and we're prioritizing appointments only." I waked over to the counter. I informed her that we had arrived at 11 and that we had signed in on the IPads. Then this is what she replied. "It's close to 3 now and we are prioritizing appointments so you can choose to leave because we're not taking any walk in's. I asked her, "So you're telling me that we've been here since 11 a.m. and we're not going to seen? To which she replied the same thing, like a broken record, It's close the three and we're prioritizing appointments only.... I then informed her I had already heard her state that and I proceed to ask her for a supervisors name and number. She replied, ok and handed me a sticky note with: Amanda (818) 482-4967. I have been dialing this number and no one picks up, not even an answering machine. What type of people choose a job to work with the public but don't know how to treat, greet or help the public.

THE worst Quest Lab in the San Gabriel Valley. They simply…read morecan't keep appointment times. The management of this lab is FUBAR. Waiting room is packed. Choose this Quest and you will also choose to waste your day waiting. Maybe an hour plus. LabCorp runs a better operation overall for your labs. Street Parking is also terrible or you have to pay. I changed this from 1 star to 3 because my particular phlebotomist was friendly and professional but losing an hour of my day when it should've just been 20 minutes sucks.

I had a disappointing experience at this lab on July 21, 2026, and I want to share what happened so…read moreother patients are aware. I had an early morning appointment. About five minutes before my appointment, their system went down, and I had to wait almost 30 minutes. I completely understood that situation. Technical problems happen, and the wait was not an issue for me. The problem started when I was called into the room. The person collecting my blood seemed impatient and frustrated from the beginning. First, the card machine was not processing my payment. It was not an issue with my card. The machine appeared to be old and was not working properly. She became frustrated and repeatedly said, "I don't have time for this." She asked if I had another card, which I did not. She eventually entered my card information manually, and the payment went through. Second, I showed her the specific blood test ordered by my doctor and explained exactly what my doctor had told me. She could not initially find the test and said, "The doctors are lazy. I can't find what is written on your paper." I remained calm and asked her to please be patient because this blood test was important for my medical care and needed to be done that day. Eventually, she found the correct code. Once again, the card had to be entered manually, and once again I had to listen to comments about how she was running out of time. The most upsetting part came when it was time to draw my blood. I have always had small veins that can be difficult to see. Before even trying, she told me that she would attempt it only once, and if she could not get blood, I would have to come back another day. At that point, I was frustrated, but I remained polite. I explained again that this blood work was important and that I needed to have it done that day. Fortunately, she found a vein on the first attempt and was able to complete the blood draw. Patients should not be made to feel like they are an inconvenience or that the employee is racing against a production target. We do not come to a laboratory for coffee or entertainment. We come because we have medical conditions that require testing, treatment, and follow up care. Some patients are already worried or anxious about their health when they walk through the door. Whoever is responsible for this location should provide better training in patience, professionalism, and basic courtesy toward patients. Technical problems and busy schedules happen, but patients should not have to absorb an employee's frustration because of them. I left feeling disappointed by the way I was treated. I will look for another laboratory in my area for future blood work. I hope management takes experiences like mine seriously and makes changes so other patients are treated with more patience and respect.
