I had trauma from redcross.. they kept poking my veins and gave me biggest bruise. Labcorp made the blood draw run smoothly. My stars are for the male phlebotimist on friday. (5stars) The male phlebotimist at labcorp was amazing he talked to distracted me from the 6 vials of blood that had to be drawn. Definitely made it less scary. It didnt hurt too much when i got poked either. After 12 hrs, i have 0 bruising. Not even the slightest purple mark. Amazing! He also told me its okay to drink water and black coffee. I thought i couldnt drink or eat anything at all. But i will know for next time so im not dehydrated. I wished i caught his name. This is in the basement. I didnt have an appointment and came in around 12:30 to do blood work. They have kiosks where you check in. There were about 4 or 5 people ahead of me. I was called and the front desk gave me a cup and said you can do it now while you wait. Not knowing what she was talking about.. I told her i didnt think i could poop atm but it was just a urine sample. Bathroom didnt have much towels or toilet paper but at least they had them. After i waited about 20 minutes to get my blood drawn. (-1 star cause i was confused but my brain mightve been off) I couldnt find out where the basement parking was but i was probably on the wrong side. I found the physicians and handicapped parking lot. read more

We took my mother inlaw for her appointment. Her doctor ordered some lab work for her. We decided to go to this location since it was on the same floor as her doctor's office. We arrived and I signed in with the Ipads on the counter. We arrived at 11:00 a.m. It was 2:00 p.m. and the workers kept announcing that the system was down. After a few of their announcements, they placed a clipboard on a counter and stated,"if you have printed orders from the doctor, sign in on this sheet, and they placed the clipboard on the counter where the Ipads were located. People kept coming in. There was a young blonde hair young girl sitting on one of the desks. As more people walked in, she stated," our system is down. Its getting close to 3 and we will only take the patients with an appointment. "It's close to 3 now and we're prioritizing appointments only." I waked over to the counter. I informed her that we had arrived at 11 and that we had signed in on the IPads. Then this is what she replied. "It's close to 3 now and we are prioritizing appointments so you can choose to leave because we're not taking any walk in's. I asked her, "So you're telling me that we've been here since 11 a.m. and we're not going to seen? To which she replied the same thing, like a broken record, It's close the three and we're prioritizing appointments only.... I then informed her I had already heard her state that and I proceed to ask her for a supervisors name and number. She replied, ok and handed me a sticky note with: Amanda (818) 482-4967. I have been dialing this number and no one picks up, not even an answering machine. Truly terrible experience with unprofessional staff. I came on two separate occasions - the first time leaving after arriving at 11:20 and being told they no longer provided urine drug testing after 11 AM. The second time I came, I checked in at 10:30 AM and was told I would be guaranteed to undergo the urine drug testing. At 11 AM, a staff member announced that they were no longer guaranteeing drug tests, and that if we wanted to wait it would be another two hours. Three hours later, I was finally seen, which was incredibly inconvenient as I was nursing/pumping and staff failed to provide a place for me to do so. On top of all of this, two staff members were in the back gossiping about patients that had come and gone at a very loud level. They were so loud to the point where the front desk staff had to go back and tell the employees that they were being heard. I hope to never be back here ever again... read more

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this location. I scheduled an appointment for 12:30 PM but ended up waiting for two hours in a packed waiting room of about 20 people. There was a sign stating "System is down," but no further explanation or instructions were provided to arriving patients. After waiting an hour and a half, I checked in at the front desk at 2:00 PM to ask for a status update, only to be told there were still four people ahead of me. The staff then asked for my physical lab report. When I explained that my doctor's office had sent it over directly, the receptionist simply pointed to the sign and said, "Look at the sign that says, 'our system is down.'" If the system was down and they required physical paperwork, they should have proactively communicated that to patients as they checked in, rather than making us wait hours for nothing. Ultimately, they advised me to just come back another day because they close at 3:00 PM. I had to leave completely frustrated and starving, as I had fasted all day in preparation for the lab work. Oh my gosh. I thought it was an exaggeration for this rating. Its so bad. No workers. Way under staffed even with appointments. Parking is bad. I did bump up my review to a 2 because one of the young workers was really nice. He was hustling and kind even though everyone was upset at them being understaffed with computers not working. He still smiled and had a good attitude and cared about you. He was probably the only good experience there. My appointment got canceled at another labcorp and he did his best to honor it. Even though I had to still wait 75 more min, it was less than others with no appointment. He didn't have enough to do that. My lab corp in Montebello is temporarily closed, so I came to the Pasadena location and was met with the most incredibly rude ladies ever. There really isn't any reason to act this way ever, but when you are working with the sick and elderly, your disposition shouldn't be vile. Shame on these ladies. read more

I never write reviews, but since I have been sitting here since 6:15AM (YES, BEFORE they opened) and it is now 8:50AM I have nothing else left to do. If I could give this "lab" negative stars I absolutely would. I come in at 6:15am for good measure, to be met with a line in front of a closed door of 6 people. I waited until 6:30am and we all got let in. I signed into the kiosk and took a seat. About 2 minutes later I hear a rude voice shouting "for drug tests come back at 7:30!". What do you mean?????? I just sat down and I accepted the fact that I would wait until 7:30am. It's 7:25am I get up and ask if I have to check in AGAIN, and she rudely said yes. I lost my sh**. I signed into at 7:30am, and I am still waiting to pee in a cup! On top of that, the AC was set to 68 on FULL blast, and I saw a service guy come and adjust the thermostat to 65!!! It's now 8:50am and I not only have a migraine, I am freezing cold, shaking, frustrated and absolutely fed up with this joke of a place. Do yourself a favor and never come here. Who looks forward to blood lab test ESPECIALLY when you need to fast I was a walk in for lab work, showed up at 6:15 lab opens at 6:30. They opened promptly. They have kiosk to facilitate more people checking in. I found it easy to navigate kiosk and I'm a SENIOR and I figured it out no problem. So not sure why some people have issues Did have to wait over 30 mins but expected to since I didn't have appointment. Once I was called by phlebotomist Arlene, she was very pleasant, professional and when blood was drawn was pretty pain free. Had an appointment but left because of how rude the girl at the front desk was. Made a 9:45am appointment on 1/3/26. I was (am always) VERY nervous to have my blood drawn because I often pass out. It took me 2 months to build up the courage to finally make an appointment at labcorp after my Dr ordered bloodwork. My husband came with me for support. Yay. I'm feeling so ready to get this over with. We walked in and asked the girl at the desk about check in, she didn't make eye contact and told us to do it on our phone. My husband mentioned her seeming rude as we walked to the waiting area, I agreed but whatever, she wasn't drawing my blood so I brushed it off. Just that gen Z expressionless type. After waiting a few mins, I got called back up and damn, she was straight up RUDE. She spoke to me in a super condescending way. She was snarky - her replies to questions were answered specifically in a way to make you feel stupid. She was talking to me like I was a child. Girl I'm older than you. I started feeling really nervous and upset and walked back to my husband. I told him that we needed to leave, I'm not going to put up with being talked to like that, and I can't have my blood taken feeling this way. We walked back to her and told her to remove me from the appointment and left. So, to the young-ish girl at the front desk with dark curly hair pulled back, thin, black-framed glasses and false lashes working at 9:45am on 1/3 - Keep in mind there are people who are very nervous to have blood drawn, it ain't just me. Don't treat us with disrespect, we do not want to be there any more than you do and at least you're getting paid to be there. If you're coming here for an employment drug test don't even bother, go to a different location. They have no appointments for weeks on end, and claim they take walk ins for employment drug tests, but if they are busy (which seems like they usually are) they will turn you away. I needed to get a blood panel done for my doctor. I live in Washington and found out I could get this done while volunteering in California. The wait time was short. The technician was watching videos on his phone when I came into the lab and during the blood draw. I have large veins and normally not a problem getting blood. An hour went by, I did not receive a text as instructed so I went to speak to a human about it but was told it was lunchtime and now it would be another hour. I saw many bad reviews on all of Labcorp's yelp pages, which is not something you want to see when your pregnant wife is going to get poked with a needle, but I've got to be honest. *This was a smooth process!* We came in without an appointment(which I thought would make this a longer wait) and were told it'd be an hour and a half, which we were prepared for. I'm writing to complain about the staff responsible for blood work. I had bad experience at different Labcorp locations. It's dissatisfied for the safety and hygiene for the blood work procedure. The elderly staff who helps me for the blood work lick her saliva to turn the document pages when she check me in. Then she folded the gauze to cover my injection site after the blood draw but don't forget she just licked her saliva. This is not the first time I've seen for that so I don't want to keep quiet anymore. During the procedure, I found she accidentally dropped the glove on the floor and grabbed it back to her pocket which is full of unused gloves instead of throw it away. I worried about if I will get infected and especially when we are low immunity. Today, I had my blood work at other Labcorp location. It's very dissatisfy for the staff who did the blood work for me regardless for the short staff, and the waiting time is taken longer which the receptionist told us. The attitude from the staff who did the blood draw for me is so rude and neglect my pain. She wrap and tie super tight on my arm two times, makes me screaming out in pain and said she couldn't see my vein if the bandage wrapping is not super tight. Then she looks like annoyed by my painful screaming and insert the needle makes me very painful again. This is not the first time I have the blood draw experience, so I know my vein is visible as many medical staffs said. I never have such painful experience like this time. I understand that it is short staff and maybe work overloaded for her. However, she should not venting emotions to the patients and it's inhumane and disqualify as a medical worker. read more

Staff came across as condescending, rude, and disorganized--especially Mr. Luis, who showed no empathy and a very unprofessional attitude. Arrived/checked in at 6:30 am for a pre-employment drug test. Was told that drug tests start at 9 am and to come back and check in at 8:55 am. There were no options online to reschedule this test and no indications online that this test is only available after 9 am. There was a printed 8 1/2 x 11" sign printed and taped to the wall in the waiting room. I spent over 3 hours in/out of this location that day....super inefficient for me.
