The first woman I spoke with had a horrific attitude, maybe she was overwhelmed, I don't know, but she was bad. I came here for routine lab work just after 12 noon. Waiting room was very packed. New arrivals were cutoff at 2pm. I am told that another Lab Corp testing center shut down recently and this Green Street location is seeing the impact. Also, for elderly patients who may be technology challenged, there should be an alternate checkin method instead of using the kiosk. After this experience I am switching doctors. I've been here several times lately. Today the wait without an appointment was 2:15. Usually it's more like an hour. What sets this location apart for me is that everyone working here seems really unhappy to be there. No smiles, just stoic faces trying to get through their day. It must be a horrible place to work. I've had better luck at Alessandro. People are friendlier, although the wait there can also be horrible. They seem to release appts sometimes late in the day, so if it's bad when you go in, you can check later and there may be something. read more

Happened to be in the Pasadena area and thankfully they had a Labcorp close by. Needed to get some lab work done that I just didn't make time for. They opened up early in the morning. Found plenty of free street parking. Took the elevator up to the 2nd floor and did the easy self-check in. Waited for only a few minutes in the waiting area before I was called up to the registration desk to provide my lab paperwork. There was only one other person waiting ahead of me. After I gave my paperwork, the lab tech was ready for me. Everything looked clean. Very friendly technician and did a great job drawing up my blood quickly. Hardly felt a thing. I've used this Labcorp at least a couple dozen times in the last few years. I did again this morning. The people who take my blood are always highly professional and usually also appropriately friendly. The unpredictable part is the wait time. Even with an appointment, sometimes I've had to wait more than 15 minutes. At other times the wait is minimal. This morning after checking in I waited maybe 5 minutes max. Luy checked me in today and drew my blood. He is always quite friendly and does a great job with the blood work too. So I'm giving Labcorp on Green St. five stars for my experience today. If I were going to an average ranking, it would be a 3 or 4, having mainly to do with wait times. read more

Just want to thank you for creating a convenient, professional and friendly experience! This was my first time to a LabCorp facility and definitely won't be my last. I've used your main competitor in the past and it was a MISERABLE experience ALL around and EVERY time. You've obviously cultivated a very different atmosphere in your labs and it shows. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. They are running like a well oiled machine. Shika is very good in taking blood from very fine veins.

I will NEVER go to ANY labcorp again, I DO NOT care if it is in my doctor's IPA group. I called my insurance grievance dept and got an override to go back to using Quest. Like the other reviews say- Stay away from this clown show here on Green street. But the other locations arent much better. Labcorp is unreliable in their results and they have the worst customer/patient service. So glad someone told me that I can file a grievance with my insurance and request an override so I dont have to go to labcorp at all anymore. Keyword is access of quality patient care. read more

Second time at this location. First time was ok. As a diabetic fasting for the bloodwork it was challenging and I thought I would have to have a glucose gel pack before my "fasting " appointment less I risk fainting. Twice a year I bring my daughters here for bloodwork because it's the closest to our house and every year -- with an appointment -- we wait an hour. It's ABSURD. We're here now and it's been an hour since we checked in. And people who checked in after us have been taken to have their blood drawn. There's no excuse: either you can take the appointments or you can't. If it's a staffing issue, then figure it out by managing personnel better. It's not rocket science. read more

Uncomfortably tiny waiting room but whatever They made me check in and show my ID/Insurance at the kiosk only to ask for it again at the desk..so then what was the point of the kiosk? As I made eye contact with patients in the waiting room while getting my blood drawn in "Room 4", I couldn't help but feel like entertainment for everyone. Surely this setup wasn't intentional..? Thankfully I didn't get Room 2, directly in front of the waiting room. Without a door or hospital curtains to shield me disrobing, I had to sit there suffering in silence as men my fathers age ogled at me the entire time! When I brought it up to the staff, he said, "oh really?? That's not good." Service provider wasn't gentle with me either, I can tell she was rushing to move on to the next person. I do not suggest coming here. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Update: Also irked that they call your name out-loud to everyone, at the top of their lungs. Now this wouldn't be such a big deal if they did a better job at attempting to be discreet about why you're visiting. It's deplorable that the entire waiting room can hear "Susie Joe" and the service provider talking about how she came in for an STD test, has high blood pressure, etc. We might as well had been in the room with them! read more

Just went here to get my measles titers checked. It was clean, staff were efficient and friendly, check in was easy, and there was no wait I was served at my appointment time. There is no privacy or discretion in the Green St office. One has to check in at a kiosk, which many struggle to use. There is no one to assist with the kiosk. Then everyone sits, jammed in the waiting room with their specimens to drop off. It is humiliating. This particular office is incredibly disorganized and the receptionist has terrible bedside manner, I watched for over an hour as she rudely directed any and every incoming patient to check-in before speaking with her. Never scheduling an appointment at this lab Corp ever again. I had my appointment scheduled a month in advance, and when I show up to my appointment it's CLOSED! I need to get my tests done before the year for my employee wellness check so I can get discounted health insurance since my organization makes us pay a large portion. I put my trust in these people before I leave town, and now I'm strapped for time waiting over an hour at another lab Corp without an appointment since the Green St location screwed me over. I was referred to this location specifically by the Alhambra location for a urine test. Got there and the receptionist was EXTREMELY rude. First she told me they don't do them there and that it was my fault because I must have not heard the correct location, which was not the case. I made a comment about how I was referred since I missed the Alhambra's cut off by a short time and that I just wanted to take a quick test. She scolded me, loudly, about it "taking a long time and it's not a simple procedure." Whatever. If you work in customer service just be friendly or get another line of work. Plus the place was PACKED. Easily would have been a 2 hour wait. The Alhambra location, on the other hand - yes, it was my fault because I missed the cut off, but they were super friendly and helpful. Plus their waiting room wasn't packed at all. I've been here 5-6 times over the past few years and every time the service has been exceptional. It's easy to make an appointment, easy to check in, and with my afternoon appointments I never wait more than 5-10 minutes before being seen. The facility is super clean. The best part is the staff though, they are all super friendly and welcoming and put my anxiety at ease. Their check-in system is incompetent. They tell you to use the check-in kiosk, but if you do it will count you as a walk in even if you have an appointment. Their website, the signs on the doors, and the kiosk itself all ask you to wait outside once you have checked in and wait for a text. Except when it is your time they just call you name out in the office, and skip you if you are not there. You have to go up to the desk and talk to them, or you may just get ignored. This place is terrible. Long wait and they messed up my moms test. They only took one vial and she needed many. We ended up missing a biopsy because of it. They said they needed the results. I absolutely hate getting blood drawn and was dreading going to Labcorp to do it. I've now had two blood draws at this location and both times were painless, quick and totally tolerable. Went in for a test that they said I cannot do because I did not prepare for it. I researched about it and it says that you can take the test if you stopped taking the medicine at least 3days before. All the studies supported that, and they still insisted that they are the only ones who have that policy and that I needed to come back regardless if I told them that i can't not have that medicine for too long. The front desk ladies were snob and rude and raising their eyebrows on me. And i can hear how they talk to the elderly patients so rudely. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE to anyone. This is a fantastic location. I was there this morning and got in and out fast and w great service. I see reviews about long wait times and since I've 'cracked the code' here are suggestions: 1) Make an appointment. If you don't, you'll wait behind whoever else failed to plan in time to make an appointment. Just like you. 2) When you check in at the kiosk, have the code they send you ALREADY PULLED UP on your phone. Scan the code and it immediately takes you to a few confirming questions and you can get this done in under a minute. And yes, you have to press 'continue' to continue to the next page. 3) If you don't have a phone and thus a code, have your ID and your insurance cards/numbers IN YOUR HAND BEFORE you approach the kiosk. Come on, people! I wanted behind people checking in and they got to the kiosk and then were fumbling through purses and backpacks. What should have taken under a min literally took 5-7 mins. THIS is why the wait is so long. It's the patients, not the staff! read more

I visited the Green Street location on June 1, 2022. - The wait time was too long, we checked in around 9:40 am and were done at 11:30 am - I was there for my 10 year old daughter who is very, very scared of blood and needles. When we were getting registered the phlebotomist, who's name was Chrisine came to the register and started casually discussing with her colleague that she needs help because something happened and "blood is squirting all over the room". My daughter was almost ready to faint. I nicely and jokingly told her that maybe they shouldn't discuss that kind of situations in front of the patients (and I didn't even said 'children', which is making it worse), and explained that my daughter is really afraid of blood, and she just replied that it's their usual everyday conversation.  - We had to wait for over an hour after this and my daughter was nauseous and said she couldn't stop picturing the squirting blood all over the room.  - When I came back an hour later to check if it was our turn, the same person, Christine told us it's not time yet and that they would text me, and at that same moment her colleague called my daughter's name - After my daughter was called she had to wait for another 30 minutes inside for her blood to be drawn, everyone was going on breaks and Christine was just doing other patients' paperwork. I also explained earlier that my daughter was fasting and nauseous but nothing seemed to convince her to try to help us faster. I was really trying to avoid conflict so I don't make it even more stressful for my daughter. 20 minutes later I asked her once again what we were waiting for and she replied "for me to finish some paperwork".  -Later, one of the other phlebotomists came back from her break and drew my daughter's blood. She was very professional and encouraging, and helped us in a few minutes.  I have been visiting the Green Street Pasadena location for several years and all our blood work has gone by smoothly and I was happy with the service. I have also been helped several times by Christine before and never had complaints. Normally, when I receive bad service I would just forget about it or be too lazy to take any action. But this time, I took my time to write this review because my daughter had an extremely stressful experience and Christine was treating her as if she was just being silly, and me, like I was being annoying and inappropriate. read more

I brought my 6 year old daughter today for a blood test. The wait was short before being seen. Raymond attended us.Once my daughter sat in the chair she started to cry Raymond was speaking to my daughter and her stuffed bunny to comfort her. My daughter being unsteady she sat on my lap she started to cry before the blood was drawn but Raymond calmed her down before actually withdrawing the blood. I'm really amazed at how fast he withdrew her blood. He inserted the needle and she did not cry or notice. He even did a count down with her before removing the needle. The staff was very professional and efficient. I also like the private stations. Parking was also very reasonably priced. I'm giving a 1 star review due to the bathroom situation. Bathroom toilet seat was dusty and had pubic hairs. It was obvious it had not been cleaned in a minute. I know the lab is located in an old building, but the bathroom can use an upgrade or at the very least some elbow grease and lots of vinegar and/or bleach. Divine and Rose were absolutely amazing. Went above and beyond for me and my seven year old son. Did not know that a pleasurable blood work experience was possible and these two lovely ladies made it so. I cannot recommend this LabCorp and these two wonderful front line heroines in particular!!!
