The worst experience with the staff that were working. I've been to this lab before and it was fine. After myself and another lady waited over an hour this one very rude lady Maria said we had to wait outside because she was going on lunch. When we questioned her why she didn't tell us before we wouldn't be seen she got rude and loud. We both waited after their lunch and once we were seen we asked for the name and number of the manager. They said they couldn't give out that information but would pass along our information and have the manager contact us. Unfriendliest Quest experience that I've had. Phlebotomist, Diamond, was either having a bad or she just wasn't a people person. She barely said two words even though trying to I tried to engage a bit of conversation. Know before you go: they don't do certain types of testing on Saturdays, even with an appointment. The tests they do have available are limited. They overcomplicate things, which speaks to their lack of both knowledge and empathy. The staff seems incompetent with poor attitudes. Avoid Quest if you can. Opt for a more competent lab such as LabCorp. read more

Have a special test done twice a year that needs to be done in a 2 hour window. Checked in and watched the time. There is a screen with your name and wait time. It said I had 9 minutes then jumped to 3 minutes and in reality was now 30 minutes since I checked in! Finally went to the check in desk and notified the women my test needed to me run per my order. She looks at the lab order and said she did not see any test that has a specific time window:. I pointed out the doctors NOTE IN LARGE PRINT NOTING TEST TIME!!! She blew me off and went to chat wiry another staff member. I waited for her to return and finally got called back. The phlebotomist looked at my lab order and said it needed to be run in the 2 hour window. I Explained what happened and the tech said she would talk to the gal at the desk. The phlebotomist was excellent but we were past the 2 hour window!!! I have been to 3 different Quest locations and all of them note my test window except for this one. NEVER USING THIS LOCATION. AGAIN....Lack of caring, staff busy chit chatting all spells Poorly run facility. read more

If I could give this facility zero stars, I would. You can tell from my reviews that I have never given a negative review but this situation can't go on. My experience today was hands-down the worst health care related (or any customer service related experience) in my entire life. I went to have blood work done for my one-year-old little boy who has been experiencing some symptoms that our doctor ordered stat. I also had my 3 year old daughter with me. Wrangling two littles and juggling the emotions of what's going on with my son's health is enough to deal with but our experience at this Quest is beyond anything I could have anticipated. When we were called back for the blood draw, they told me to put him on my lap. Then Maria - a woman who should not have a job working with people-came back and told me to hold my son's wrist. She did not indicate which wrist to hold or how. She just said hold his wrist like three times in an increasingly condescending and impatient manner. I finally said just tell me which arm you want to do the blood draw from and I'll figure it out. She said the right arm so I held his little left arm against his body and mine and said "OK, I've got him." She rudely said, "No, you don't...but whatever." I said, "Excuse me, he is my son and there is a chance that he has a serious medical condition so please show some compassion." Not only did she not show compassion she showed an inept lack of professionalism that any employer should see as a red flag. Maria abruptly pulled the tourniquet off of my ONE year-old, threw it down and marched out saying, "I'm not helping them!" It was the most unprofessional, uncalled for, childish behavior I've ever seen from a healthcare worker in my entire life. After that, they had another woman do the draw. Please save yourself the headache and do not bother going here. This woman needs to be fired! You do not behave that way or yell at anyone let alone someone who is already experiencing anxiety over a potential medical issue...and especially not in front of their children for no apparent reason. Feels a lot like institutionalized government office. You will need a prescription even if you are a cash patient. The prescription has to be faxed they cannot print a prescription for you. Not a nice place to come very impersonal. First time to this location and had a very good experience. Ashley helped with both the lab request and was also the phlebotomist (usually someone at the front desk does the paperwork). I was there for a walk-in around 12:15 PM, and was taken back in less than 5 minutes. Ashley was very on top of things and fast. She poked my arm and got in and out so quickly that I barely noticed she drew any blood. It was probably the least painful blood draw I've had. Visibly, it is also the most discrete (no bruising whatsoever). She also knew the tests very well, and the proper way to conduct them. I haven't had someone who paid so much attention to the details. It is appreciated, but in fact, it is the only negative I would mention. I am still not convinced that my random urinalysis needed to be a first morning specimen, but upon doing research, she was correct this is the PREFERRED method. I've never had bring my urine back before, and I am unsure it is really worth making a second trip to drop off the sample, however. There was another phlebotomist in the room at the same time, whose name I didn't catch, but she was also very friendly and pleasant. Overall, I had a good experience. This is close to my home and I didn't know it was here. I hope it is always like this, as I will certainly be back. read more

I came to test blood on Friday Oct. 4th., 19. to test A1C, CMP and Lipid Panel, It was fast and they call to my wife same afternoon inform my blood not good to test, come back Monday. Saturday, Sunday they closed. Monday I went to Doctor, hope everything will smooth as before. But doctor office said I have to pay for it because insurance only pay one to Quest. I call them and know the nurse who took my my blood has day off Monday, and not take my cancellation. This office is missed handling the blood only have one result A1C sent to my doctor, the other 2 test no result. I am not recommend this office. read more

I saw a quite a fire negative feedback about the way blood has been taken - I wanted to put on record that I have been there (along with my wife) quite a few times over the last few years (mostly routine tests) and we always found it easy. They are easy to work with - just go in, get the work done and leave - generally waiting time is not too bad if you have scheduled an appointment. read more

I see it... my dark, crimson red blood slowly oozing into the vile...the sweat beading at my brow... the overwhelming feeling in the pit of my stomach to blow chunks... Blood tests bite, but this has been an "ok" place to have them done (much better than ones in Irvine). If you don't make an appointment - especially in the morning - the wait can be long (30-45+ minutes); unfortunately the appointment times fill up fast. The workers are nice and good with needles, but I've noticed they seem to bicker amongst themselves (entertainment while you wait?). Not sure how it's viewed from the medical providers' perspective, but for patients, this place is ok. read more

HORRIBLE. They claim they haven't received lab order faxes from a doctor even after the sending physician gets fax-received receipt. The sign on the door says closed for lunch at 11:30am but if you show up at 11:24 the door is locked. This place is so understaffed and so CLUELESS it's disgusting. read more

Wow! I wish I could leave zero stars. I went there for my doctor ordered blood work. I arrived at 11:20, 10 minutes before they break for lunch. I was informed by the rude front desk Girl my co-pay was going to be $150, when in reality my co-pay is $25. She said that's what I had to pay or call my insurance company. Like any logical person I called my insurance company, after 10 minutes on the phone, they confirmed it was $35. At that point the front desk gal had already locked the front door, and left for lunch without notice. Then an older, maybe late 50's Asian lady came out, she told me I had to leave because the front desk girl said I came in after they had closed for lunch. I explained the situation, and she said "I don't think so, you came after we closed" I showed her my phone, since I was still on the line with the insurance company, clearly showing I was there before they closed (phone call showed 15 minutes). I also recommend that she look to see when I checked in. Basically she started arguing with me and told me to "go fuck myself" I'll never patronize quest again! read more

I went in with low expectations based on the reviews, and was surprised to find it was not that bad. I checked in at 8:46 with no appointment and was walking out the door at 9:06! I think I could have been out even faster, but someone was in the patient bathroom and I had to wait. The phlebotomist used a straight needle (not a butterfly), which takes more skill to control, and she did a great job. I barely felt a poke. Parking is really, really bad--when I left the entire lot was full. Plan ahead. read more

This place is ridiculous!!! I had a question in regard to my billing and tried to call the phone number posted online for this location. The automated system kept hanging up on me so I tried to submit my request online just to be prompted for an Invoice number which was not provided to me on the Payment Receipt they provided me. Something has happened here. For years this Quest location has operated close to perfect but lately seems to be falling short. Perhaps new management. The latest is last week I was in for a blood test and also was requested to give a urine sample in the small cup. Then before I left I was told I would need to take a 24 hour urine collection test and return it to them. I took the sizable container home to collect all urine for a 24 hour period. Which basically meant I would stay home for 24 hours and collect. This morning I took the container back to them and they said we're sorry but you didn't need to do that test but then they wanted a small cup test -- which I had already given them a few days earlier along with my blood test. So basically the person who had performed my blood test blew it. This was a real hassle for no reason. There is all new personnel working there from last year and I don't know what's going on but it looks like they are headed in the wrong direction. read more

This location sucks. There is no parking. You have to wait a very long time if you do not have an appointment. Morning appointments are filled up a week in advance. They ask you for money up front based upon their "insurance estimate" which is never accurate. The last time I was there I had to go back a second time because the blood was tainted (they drew it wrong). read more

terrible. made a 12 noon appt, but got there early. just one other person waiting. 3 lab assistants in the front office chatting. i signed in and was told to sit. i sat. after 10 minutes about 7 walk-ins arrived. they were signed in and had their blood work done, while i just sat there. okay, my appt was not until noon, but if there were no other appt people waiting why didn't they take me in instead. They finally called me to the front desk at 12:05. they had lost my medical card information, even though my card had been copied on my last visit. i finally had it -- i walked out. i will not make an appointment next time -- i will be a walk-in. you get seen to faster. awful place, lousy help. read more

Horrible customer service! I had an appt but not lab orders as my doctor's nurse had called them in the Friday before. I went in that next Monday and they said they never received any orders. I called the nurse and she faxed the order again, I went back to Quest (5 mins before their lunch break) and they said they still hadn't received anything. Then the curly haired lady (I was so angry I forgot to get her name) told me that even if they got the order that second that she wouldn't help me because it was lunch time. She never once offered to call and help. All she cared about was her lunch. I will never go here again. read more

Best Quest PSC I've been to. Extremely convenient if you use the 5 freeway between work and home, and a great choice if you want to avoid the later afternoon traffic snarl-ups in Orange County, if you're heading south, that is. The office parking there is not a problem if you hit it at the right time of the day - tip: mornings are not the right time of day. I got there at 230pm and there was only one patient ahead of me, who got taken straight back. No sooner than I handed my paperwork over, they took me back. Very friendly staff-member. Was in and out of this small and efficient PSC within 15 to 20 minutes. I won't bother wasting time at any other from now on. Bare in mind that any Quest PSC is going to be busy with walk-ins in the mornings due to the fact that most people are trying to fit it around their morning work schedule, or are otherwise eager not to have to fast for their blood test any longer than is necessary. So long as you are prepared to pick a less busy time of day to come here, this place is as good as I can imagine a Quest PSC can get. read more

Do not bother to make an appointment as they do not honor appointment times. Arrived 10 minutes before appointment and still had to wait 20 minutes. One other person in office and they were taken before me even tho their appointment was at 1:30. Too much socializing - less talk would speed up process. More staff needed. read more

Dunno why people seem to hate this place so much. I came in without an appointment or my insurance card on me and Ilene, the nice curly-haired front desk lady, was very helpful. After only a few minutes' wait I went into one of the rooms and had my blood drawn. She managed to keep it light and conversational which definitely helped me ignore my usual discomfort with needles. All in all the entire process took only 10 minutes or so from entering the building to exiting the building. read more

Horrible customer service. I took my 16 months olb baby to there for a Calcium/Vitamin D test. An Asian technician was in charge to take the blood. My baby started crying when she began to draw her blood so she called a lady in the front to come and help to hold my baby together with me. They needed to draw 4 tubes so I asked if it is necessary to draw full of each tube. Without any expression on their faces, they said yes, we had to draw full all of them. My baby kept crying and looked at me like please dont do it mami. I said if you just need to draw enough for a test. She's just a baby and she was crying so hard that melt my heart. Then a lady in the front talked like shouting at me "Do you want to stop!!!!??? If you want, we can stop right now!!!!" Of course, I want the test done. They have already drawn 2 tubes. If they stop, then I need to have it done again and my baby has to suffer this painful procedure again. I felt like they threatened me. No mercy at all. Totally upset and frustrated. I know they have to do their work but at least they have to talk nice, treat nice to the people who are their customers, especially to babies, kids. My baby's 1st lab test in life but a very bad experience. Never come back this place again. read more

This quest location is awful! I made an online appointment and apparently it never went through. I waited for 20 minutes then asked if I should do my urine sample. The Phlebotomist said "I don't know! I haven't looked yet." Maybe something you should do before calling me back. They had several waiting for as long as I was. Then proceeds to tell me that I needed to fast (I didn't). I then sat down in the room and waited another 10 minutes for her to enter everything into their system. She says my Doctor wrote a code in the incorrect place on the form. Okay? She gets on phone and calls the office and proceeds to tell them the Dr wrote in wrong space. Control trip! She's finally done 5 minutes later. THeN She tells me one of the blood draws I needed was to be done before 9. It was then 9:10. Seriously?! I do not get why these women do not read the paperwork prior to calling patients back! BEYOND Frustrating! She then told me I needed to have fasted. No I did not! Read the paperwork! She then asked "which arm to draw blood from." Really?! That's your job lady! You tell me! She then tells me to scoot over. Um, scoot over where? She seemed to be one of those Phlebotomists that enjoy being on a control trip! Disorganized, unpleasant! Oh and no bandaid or proper care after removing needle. Do yourself a favor and go to a quest lab elsewhere! I'd give this place -5 stars. In fact I'm going to see if I can file a complaint online about this location. read more
