Lucy the nurse was great. that's why i'm giving the 3 stars. however Benjamin at the front desk was just awful. Rude and just looks at you almost like you are actually there to bother him. I even greeted him with A Good morning. Terrible manner to have when he's the first person you see when walking in. Makes the whole waiting room just have tension because of his mood. I hope Benjamin has better days then today. read more

Unlike many Quest experiences I've had this was surprisingly easy. I had a STAT lab order from Urgent Care on Thanksgiving AM and came the next day to a closed office. I returned early Saturday morning approx. 745A which I thought would be a nightmare from them being closed on the holiday and an early closure Friday in addition to any previously scheduled appointments but the place was empty as I came through the door. I signed in, and was seen within a few minutes. In and out, quick and easy and I managed to keep myself in tact. Although, I donate blood every 56 days I can't stand to do blood work, I get very anxious but the technician was reassuring and gentle. My stat lab order was received by the doctor within a few hours. I'm not sure if this place is always as calm as it was when I arrived but I wouldn't rule them out in the future, if I'm in this area and need to do lab work. Making an appointment is always a fine idea too. read more

I was only able to get a 1:00pm appt and then I realized I had to fast 8 hours before the appt, so I decided I would walk in once they opened instead. I got there at 7:05am and checked in as a walk in but it linked that check in to my appt at 1:00pm which I hadn't cancelled yet in case I would have gotten there and there was too much of a wait time which there wasn't, there were only 4 people sitting there at the time I walked in. I cancelled my appt for 1:10pm after that but then I realized my name was not on the stand by list but instead under the check in list. I wish someone was there and you can ask them questions but no one is there, so I had to wait for a phlebotomist to come out. I asked Lucy once she came out and called out a patients name, if she can check if I was down as a walk in or I only checked in for my 1:00pm appt because I didn't want to be waiting thinking I was on the stand by list and have to wait until 1:00pm. She sighed so hard when I asked and said I don't know you have to wait. I said I know I have to wait but I don't want to wait for 1:10pm for no reason I would rather come back if that's the case. She said if you made and appointment then you have to wait till then and if you're a walk in you will still wait. I then said I cancelled the appointment. She seemed so annoyed and continued with the patient she had called and told me she would check. After she came out and said it showed I had an appt at 1:10pm so come back then I said are you sure because I got the cancellation confirmation. She said i don't know you have to wait. I then asked for her name so when I did go back at 1:10pm I can say she told me that, she then said she was leaving at 12:30 so she wouldn't even be there. I walked out after that. Worst service ever. Lucy made it seem very much that she hates her job. She has no customer service. Not only is it hard to get an appt, once you go there you have to wait and no one is there to greet you nor ask questions, and then having to deal with employees who are rude. Horrible! 0 stars. read more

Avoid this place. They work at a snails pace even when you have an appointment. Staff doesn't seem to care about the group of people waiting for over an hour even with appointments. Unprofessional at this lab. read more

I am writing to give a five star review on my experience everything was very professional from the check in at front desk all the way to having my blood taken. I worked with Benj and he made me feel extremely relaxed and comfortable while taking several viles of blood. It was honestly one of the best experiences I have had getting blood taken. I came during covid and felt very safe and would highly recommend. Bravo for great service. read more

This is my first time coming to this location and never again. The office is hard to find parking is even harder. (I paid $4.00 for an hour). It's located inside a building just FYI. I chose this location because it was close to my job so I scheduled a 7:45 Appointment to make it to work on time. I didn't get called in until 8:15 and she took forever getting my orders ready so she didn't even start drawing my blood until 8:30 . And now I'm super late to work. Never again am I coming back. Oh and that Was the most painful lab drawn I've ever got. She kept pinching my skin with the needle and moving it like crazy. read more

Very......very slow, crawling, saw only 2 working inside. " Sorry we are short staffs". Half hour late serving appointments and still have many stand by. The info in board said serving 3, they are only doing 1 in a slow mode. Sad...sad services, very low productivities read more

When I saw that this place had two stars, I was like, "How bad could it be?" But after visiting I understood. The parking is really confusing so give yourself a few minutes to get that sorted if you've made an appointment. The check in process is also confusing, I chose to enter my info instead of my confirmation code, and it seemed like it checked me in as a walk-in, when I asked the front desk they were very terse and dismissive. The front desk staff were probably the coldest, rudest, angriest looking people I have ever encountered in a clinical setting. I thought I might have accidentally walked into the DMV. On the plus side I was taken back within 5 minutes of my appointment time even though it was very crowded and I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. The person who drew my blood was very friendly. But I will def try another location or lab before coming back here. read more

I came here after being referred by pediatrician for labs for my young son. The front desk has no live person- just 2 tablets. They do not have a direct line. It took a whole lot of knocking every time we needed to use the restroom. (Pregnant and 3 year old kid). After 1.5 hours of waiting, I was not helped even though wait room was practically empty and they were taking very few people in. Looked like they schedule up to 13 people an hour according to screen and can only take half of that. Appointment system seems useless at that point. read more

Last time I went for a test at the request of my doctor, they performed the wrong test. Their scheduling App doesn't work, and their phone UI is terrible. It is impossible to ever talk to a person BY DESIGN. Worst. read more

Disaster is an understatement of what this place is. It doesn't even deserve 1 star. There are absolutely NO signs into the office what so ever, not from the street, not from the outside of the building, not even inside the building! Only a printed paper taped to their front door. Their "appointment" times are more like 1-2 hour time frames. QuestDiagnostics everywhere gets worse by the day. read more

Besides the fact that people who work there are super rude, if you don't have an appointment don't even go to that location. It's by appointment only, no front desk or an open window to speak to someone, basically there is one iPad to sign in, but if you don't have an appointment you just stay there for hours until you realize that you're not going to get your blood work done at that location. read more

Wow! I am in shock about how RUDE the staff was! Especially the woman who saw me. I should have taken her name. I get that they are understaffed but that is no excuse to treat patients so poorly. She acted like I was an idiot for not knowing I now need an appointment to even pick up a test, even though that is what I have been doing for 20 years. And then proceeded to treat me like I was an idiot for not knowing they were out of the test that I needed. I asked if she could call another Quest to see if they had it since patients don't have any access to call anyone in person at Quest. She acted like that was the most idiotic, over the top request and then I proceeded to hear her b*tch about my request to a co-worker down the hall. So. Incredibly. Unprofessional! read more

I had a really positive experience getting blood drawn here today. I did not have an appointment, but I still waited less than 10 minutes to be seen. The guy at the front desk was super friendly, and my phlebotomist, Sherri, was great! She was courteous, friendly and professional - she took the time to make sure I was comfortable, asking which arm I preferred for the draw, and even which vein I preferred, as she found two good ones! haha I appreciated her and had a very positive experience at Quest this afternoon. Thank you! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I had an appointment for 11:30AM. I checked in at their iPad inside at 11:15AM. I sat there and didn't get called in until 12:18PM. They called in appointments for every time after mine and a lady who had one at 1PM was called before me. What is the point of having an appointment if you wait for over an hour? I have better luck with walk ins. Save yourself the time and go to the Arcadia locations. They're better and they honor their appointments better than this place. This one is a joke. read more

Understaffed, terrible wait times. I waited an hour and a half with an appointment. God help you if you try to walk in.

Terrible experience. Had 2 appointments of mine disappear from existence. I was ignored the first time and quickly realized my time and energy are better spent at another location, the second. read more

This was one of the better blood draw experiences i've had in a while. I had been putting it off for a while and couldn't get an appointment at the facility closer to me, so I took a chance as a walk-in on a Saturday morning. I arrived within an hour of the opening, and was one of only a few people waiting in the office. The sign in process was very seamless, as you just enter your name and a few other pieces of information to check in and wait to be seen on an ipad. I waited for maybe 10 minutes before being seen. The phlebotomist was very efficient in the draw and very personable, making sure I was okay the entire time. The waiting area was surprisingly nice and modern. The seats were comfortable and there were plenty of magazines to browse through while waiting. They also had an automated queuing system that showed your place in line and approximate wait time on a tv screen. I must have arrived at a good time, as the waiting room was filling up by the time I got called in. The address of the facility is Bellafontaine Street, but the actual entrance is on the other side of the building on Alessandro. There is a parking garage there as well. There is also time-limited free street parking on Bellafontaine which I was able to get. I would definitely come back to this facility if I need future blood draws without an appointment. read more

Not sure why all the bad reviews, but just walked in on a Friday afternoon and was out in 15 mins. Mariam at the front desk was super nice and helpful with the checkin process. Sherry was also very friendly with the blood draw. Super patient and professional people here! read more

Maybe it's the time I go or the fact that I make an appointment, but the wait is usually not too bad here. I'd recommend making an appointment if you can, but if you can't, morning hours toward the end of the week seem like decent times to visit. I've waited to get my blood drawn for an hour at other places, so when I don't have to at this Quest, I'm just thankful. I have to get my blood checked every 3-4 months or so, so I'm a reluctantly regular. And I've noticed over the years that they are trying to streamline and be more efficient. Quest has added more "features" if you will. Now you can pay ahead and receive money back if the test end up costing less. In the past, I didn't like to pay up front because of the adjustments, but since I've tried, it's been good because of the convenience. The downside to this Quest is that you have to pay for parking in the garage, unless you find some free spaces along Fair Oaks. read more

Technician Sherri did an awesome job. I went in for blood work and my daughter did too on separate occassions. Her needle sticking skills make the process seemless. No one likes to get sticked for blood work. Well there might be a few souls in the world who really enjoy the process but I think most of us would rather not... but she did such a good job and has such a nice disposition I felt I had to write a review. I once gave blood with the Red Cross as part of a blood drive and the nice old lady volunteering crochetted my arm. I was black and blue for a month. Thank you Sherri for being kind and also bringing your A-Game. This location has good parking and the wait was 10 to 30 minutes each time I visited. Staff in the front were professional but not exactly Hotel Hilton welcoming. read more

I was apprehensive about this location due to all the negative reviews but I made an appointment online and needed to get my tests done ASAP so I didn't have much choice. My experience here was so quick and efficient. Parking is located right across the street and I was in and out so fast I only paid $2.50. Only one kiosk was working when I went in and I was standing in line to check in but I remembered that I had received a text earlier saying I could check in online. There was also a verbal announcement in the waiting room stating you can check in online. It was a quick click through a link and I was checked in and 4 minutes later I was called in! Rigo was my phlebotomist and the whole process was so quick and painless. Nobody likes to do these tests but the ease and efficiency of this place made it better! read more

Review is only for the appointment and scheduling system. Staff are great. If you arrive more than 10 minutes after your appointment time, your appointment is canceled and you are treated like a walk-in. I have been waiting for 80 minutes now. read more

This lab is not close to me, but I need to get blood work monthly. And I make it a point to come here when I am close to the area. They are quick, clean, efficient and have good lab technicians. The parking is across the street, but it isn't difficult to find. It's free for the first 15 mins. read more

I had a phlebotomist today named Sherri. She was excellent! I hardly felt the needle enter, and even though several vials had to be filled, it all happened quickly and painlessly. I've never had a phlebotomist gently "prompt" me through the process. Her prompts worked great, which is why this was one of the very best blood draws I have experienced in my "over 65" years! Also, the QR code I received in my appointment confirmation email really cut through the registration process when I checked in. It appears that they are getting their checkin process down to an almost touchless one, which, during this Covid-19 existence, is appreciated. read more

I am sad to report a terrible racist incident that occurred here yesterday. My husband took our sweet, happy 18 month old toddler here to get blood drawn for a routine test. The tech did not address our child and barked orders at my husband to restrain her before even apprising the situation. There was no bedside manner or gentleness and our child was traumatized after being pricked multiple times. Additionally the staff barked at my husband and berated him for being protective of our child. It is clear these people are unprofessional and treat black families as subhuman. We are all still shaken by this. read more

Should have checked the reviews before coming in. Reception staff is extremely rude and inefficient. Now concerned about the blood draw experience. On the web and in their texts, this Quest gave their address as 50 Bellefontaine. I walked up and down Bellefontaine for 20 minutes looking for it. Why didn't they say "Entrance on Alessandro Pl" anywhere? read more

Is there a reason all these places look like something out of the third world? This is what happens when private equity buys businesses. They manage by spreadsheet and don't care about the business. This entire company is trash and I hope they go out of business soon. This place looks dirty, crowded and disorganized. You might get something here. read more

So I went to this quest on Saturday with my husband, and I can honestly say I am extremely pleased. We were lucky enough to be given a phlebotomist named Lucy. My husband is completely terrified of needles and Lucy made the whole experience very pleasurable. He often needs to get poked more than once because his veins are really deep and hard to find, but she found his vein immediately and drew his blood quickly and precisely. Definitely suggest asking for Lucy if needles freak you out, and you want someone with great customer service and actually looks happy to be at her job! The only con was that parking was a little difficult. read more

I mean..technically it isn't a 4 star place because I knew I was going to get a freakin' shot here..but, they were great with me! I don't know about what some people are saying about parking...it clearly says there's a parking garage..just keep going down. The parking attendant was really nice, and let me know that the specific building I have to go to is right across the street. From Fair Oaks, and when you make a right on Bellefontaine, Quest will be on your right hand side. There's 2 buildings with the same addresses. The parking garage is on your left towards the end of the street. 20 minutes free. Walk into the place, they asked if I had an appointment, and since I did..I'd be called up right away. I was seriously freaking the fuck out. I hate shots..hate. The dude was really gentle, and they ended up taking 6 tubes worth of my blood for lab tests. D: My poor poor blood. He tried to calm me down by engaging in conversation, which kind of worked..but not really. My results came back 2 days later, and thank goodness..I'm not allergic to anything! Wee! After I left the building, the parking attendant happened to be on a golf cart driving through the street. He offered me a ride back to my car! Haha. He said, "It'll be just like Disneyland!" Plus, got that free parking..yuss! read more

Genuinely awful. I had an appointment and it still took half an hour to see me. My technician seemed terribly rushed and talked very fast. I had to ask three time to clarify how my insurance was going to be charged. She didn't even warn me when she was about to stab me with the needle. Everything just happened so fast and she hardly even tried to be friendly. Just some of the worst service I've ever had! Yikes. Also, for my urine test, I was given 2 saline wipes to clean up the soapy wipe, and also on the wall there was an instruction telling me to use all THREE saline wipes. There were no paper towels in the bathroom. What gives? read more

facility is truly understaffed. waiting room is full, staff is stressed out and overwhelmed! this place needs help. as a physician myself i am deeply disturbed at the way this place is run and i send patients to quest lab every single day. i had no idea this is the type of experience they have! and the wall at the front that separates patients from the phlebotomist leaves you with no person to guide you! everyone in the waiting room was stressed out! quest, you can do better! read more

Not quite hygienic in their restroom where specimen is collected. Questionable privacy. When you open the collection door on the wall, you have full view to the adjacent room and you can say hello if someone is there; for some reason, they keep the cabinet door from the other side open. My appointment was at 7am it's now 7:25 and now they are calling the 7:30 patients who got here after me and are after me on the list. What's the point in making an appointment? UPDATE: The results were never sent to my doctor's office. When the office called to request results they claimed that I never went it to take any test. I don't know what they did to my blood! Do not go here! I submitted a complaint to Quest Diagnostics. 5 months later no respond. read more

Why would you put a man at the front desk, as the first point of contact, who is so unpleasant, cold and dismissive-- especially in a clinical setting? People are coming in with illnesses and then they have to deal with someone like that? I guess they just don't care as long as they get your money. Save yourself the trouble. Do not deal with Quest Diagnostics- especially the Bellefontaine location . Tell your health provider, doctor or whoever it is that's referring you - I'd prefer somewhere else. The customer service is beyond help. We have options, Quest Diagnostics should NOT be one of them! read more

I had a terrible experience here. I am pregnant and recently went in for a 3 hour glucose test. First of all, the receptionist is very unfriendly. No warmth at all. The overall attitude of the staff here seemed to be, "I don't really give a shit." When you are in the medical profession, I find that unacceptable. You are supposed to be taking care of people and comforting them. With this particular test, you get your blood drawn 4 times. The second draw, the woman hit a nerve in my arm! I felt a shooting pain go down my entire arm when she inserted the needle. I told her it hurt and asked if that is normal ( I know it's NOT!), she didn't seem to care, continued to draw my blood, and said "Oh, that happens sometimes." Now 4 days later I am still having nerve pain in my forearm. Thankfully, the next 2 draws I had different phlebotomists. They were much nicer, but used big needles. So each draw hurt way more than it should have. I have small veins, and usually when I get my blood drawn the tech uses a much smaller needle. These people clearly don't pay attention to things like that and don't care. I will NEVER return to this location. read more

This place is so unprofessional it's crazy. I came for a routine blood draw and was blown away by the disorganization and uncleanliness there. When I walked into the exam room there were 4 nurses bumbling around, having some sort of issue with the computer. When they finally got that sorted they send me down the hall to a filthy bathroom for a urine test, which how they are able to get clean samples of anything in a room that unclean is beyond me. Back in my exam room, there were a different 4 nurses bumbling around the computer. I guess this was the only working terminal in the place? it was kind of like having blood drawn in a checkout line at a grocery store. I know it's not the fault of any one person who works there, but obviously a top down problem with Quest diagnostics in general that they can't be bothered to clean their facilities or provide working equipment for their staff. If possible, go to a different lab! read more
