I'm not sure what really generated the previous poor reviews except that no one likes to get stuck or do any labwork. The great thing about YELP is independent opinions and reviews so that you can make an informed decision on whether or not you will try someplace. I have come to this location of Quest about a dozen times over the last 5 years and have always found them to be professional respectful and efficient. The location is convenient to my office and I get in and out quickly; I have always found the Quest location close to my home to be very busy. read more

I rarely leave negative reviews but today Quest has earned it. I was greeted by an unhappy employee who stated, as if I should already know, that they don't take walk in appointments. She was uncaring and rude. They seem to have too many customers and I will be looking for an alternative to Quest. read more

The staff is very professional. They are doing a difficult job under extremely difficult demands with regard to Covid and everything else. I arrived without an appointment and they were still willing to take care of me. While I was there there was a young child, who had never had blood drawn before, was terrified and I was very impressed with how adeptly they calmed her. Outstanding! read more

So no one here to check you in there is only a tablet. This is fine for the tech savvy but most of the people coming in here are upwards of 70 it seems. I have to do quest job and assist a little old lady who is befuddled and does not know what to do. For goodness sakes all she wants is to feel better not made to feel ancient! Quest get a clue this is not progress! You have all these people waiting to get labs done and 2 people to do all of them. You would be better off saving the memory on tablets and bringing in more people to do the damn job! Technology is only as good as the people who use it! You are idiots! read more

Oh quest diagnostics... you little child of the medical field... I will list the cons first... as there are so many..... 1 Impossibly long hold times to speak to the one overworked employee that has my sympathy.... so I called the number on my bill for help... I put my phone on speaker while i waited... I listened to an entire 1 1/2 hour symphony tune that was occasionally interrupted by some ass telling me "thank you for waiting... do you have colorectal cancer ? "..... 2 BILLING ME 2 SEPARATE TIMES FOR THE SAME VISIT..... Yes quest diagnostics makes billing errors..... and sends threatening letters when you dont pay... but they do not answer the phone ..... read more

Needed to get a blood titer done for my internship so I called quest and they said that I don't need an order request to go get it. All I would need is an email from my preceptor that says I need the test done. I walk in to quest, wait 45 mins and then get told that I DO need an order request. Absolutely ridiculous. Made me wait almost an hour to change their minds. Worst company ever. Oh..not to mention, there's nobody ever at the front desk..and the staff is really rough with needles. Beware..GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE. read more

Quest Diagnostics - Empty as usual lol. - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Jacksonville, Florida

I'm not reviewing quest at large, but merely one worker at this particular quest. His name is Derrick. He's form Trinidad (but completely understandable english), and he can *always* get blood from me! It's amazing! I've been sick over 8 years now, so I have a lot of scar tissue, so most hospitals can't even get blood from my arms... and yet Derrick always can on the first dang try! It's awesome! I just wanted to give a shout out to him personally and say thank you! And yes, always book an appointment online. Don't ever bother calling. Since this Quest in located in a doctor's facility, it is ALWAYS crowded with a billion walk-ins. Just book an appoinment online. Works fast everytime and no wait times that way. :) read more

Customer NO-Service, there is no one to answer a phone call, why? Because they are in training, always in training, apparently they need LOTS and LOTS of training, because no one ever answers a phone call and their phone tree is a JOKE, just like the company. A real joke. No one from the company wants to get paid for the services. If you can use another medical services company, find them, and use them. These people don't care to take care of others. read more

Had a 9:45 appointment at the San Jose Blvd. location. Arrived early and checked in by the text app as instructed and was told to wait in the waiting room or car until called. With COVID who wants to wait in the waiting room so I sat in my car. When they texted me it was my turn. I immediately went in, no more than two minutes to get to the desk. The rude receptionist said my appointment was cancelled since I was not there when they called me. I was put back in the queue after all the walk in patients. They finally worked me back in at 10:20. After I was finally called back things got better. The phlebotomists was excellent. Tip: Do not wait in your car even though they suggest it is an option otherwise Miss Rude Impatient Receptionist will put you in your place which is the back of the line. read more

Rude nasty women at Fernandina Beach location. Looks like it is corporate wide from these posts.... I had the audacity to ask how long the wait would be and was immediately and rudely put in my place by your employee. Left without doing the test, will never use Quest again. read more

This was my first visit to this office. I walked in and was seen within 10 minutes which was great. The phlebotomist that I had seemed like she was having a lot of problems using the computer and kept having to ask other employees questions which made me nervous. She also had to ask which tube to use to put my blood in. She was able to find my vein after a few pokes which usually they have to end up putting the needle in my hand so props to her for getting it in my arm, but she seemed like she needed more training. read more

Anthony was the first person to ever draw my blood without missing the vein, pain, or "running out" of blood! I'm very impressed and didn't even have to use a stress ball. He will be my go-to for labs now! read more

If I could give less then one star I would. Hands down the worst place to get blood work done. Only one person at the front desk moving at a slow pace and has an attitude and acts like this is a paycheck and nothing more. read more

Time now is 7:40 a.m. and I've already completed my blood work and urine sample at this location. I had NO appointment and got here as they opened. The staff was very personable and professional. read more

Saturday, no appointment, waited 3 minutes, 3 ahead of me and 3 walked in after me. I was out in 24 minutes, full blood panel and urine complete with NO PAIN! Thanks! read more

This company has a very broken billing system. At times, I have been left wondering how they ever make a profit with how difficult it is to pay the bill. First I receive an email notice of the amount due with no other information, which says you can use the "go paperless" link to pay your bill or after 5 days they will send you a paper bill. Unfortunately the "go paperless" link is broken and takes you nowhere. Waiting for the paper bill to come is pointless. It never does. I went to the website directly, but without the invoice number that is not included in the notice, you can't pay your bill. There is no clear way to message them there. Signing up for an account almost worked till the security question section stopped functioning. In the end, the only way I was able to pay my bill was google the phone number and find an opportunity to call when they were open outside of my work hours. Extremely frustrating. Same thing happened last time I was unfortunate enough to have lab work sent to this company. I will check in with my provider to see if they can send my lab work to a different lab in the future. read more

I come to Quest every 6 months and have always been treated good. The San Jose office has a good comradeship between employees and they really show care and concern for patients. Thank you Jess and Janna. read more
