And my husband brrought the paper at 8.05am. They said i lost my appointment. And i should have make an another walk in appointment at 11.20am. My daughter was fasting and she was hungry. she is 4! I don't think they are qualified for this job! No one should go there! read more

This lab is pretty hidden. It's by islands restaurant. The lab is clean and wait time is normal for a quest lab. We wanted to thank Miranda for her wonderful service. She was very skillful at withdrawing blood and had excellent bedside manner. It was easy for Miranda to locate even the smallest of veins. Overall she was caring and loved doing her job. Keep up the great work and thank you read more

First visit to this location today and it was great! Such a kind hardworking team! Even when persons were not behaving like adults they handled themselves with class! I was dehydrated and she took the time to use a smaller needle and ensure I was ok. Thank you this will be my new favorite location! read more

Beyond rude attitude, they think they are the DMV. They scream at patients in the lobby with attitude, only 6 allowed in the space. Deplorable lack of professionalism and customer service. read more

These guys suck....if you make an appointment get ready to wait 30-45 minutes minimum. I was just getting a regular blood test and if i didnt fast prior to this appointment i would have left a long time ago. Fail! read more

1 hour wait with an appointment. Only 2 people before me, empty in the waiting room. That's terrible service. What about people who are walk ins? Do they wait days? There are 3 or more employees inside when I said excuse me no one replies they are having a fun conversation. I can hear them. I wanted their attention because my name disappeared from the screen but no one appeared to call me in. Why care about medical patients is probably their motto. *shrug* read more

Although I had to wait around 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time (Monday 10:45 am), the office was clean and all of the staff were friendly. I personally prefer this location over the other Quest on Barranca. Phuong was the phlebotomist who drew my blood. She was very nice and professional. She noticed I had a lot of bruising on my arm from previous blood draws/injections from my recent hospitalization. She was kind enough to put a bag of warm water on my arm so it would be easier for her to find my vein. The whole process was quick and painless. Thank you so much!!! read more

***WARNING*** don't pay up front they will rip you off. I do blood work every 6 months and pay around $5-$10 for my blood work and today the person in front said today your patient responsibility will be $199. HAHAHA, yea right!! I asked her several questions and she said ok no worries we will send you bill. Then on their tv playing in the waiting room their ad came on saying that you can pay upfront but it's just an estimate on your responsibility and you can choose to get an invoice on the exact amount ? Haha wow. Soooo your charging people upfront an estimate and then keeping the balance that's not actual payment ? Or are you sending refund checks out all day long? Like I said choose to pay later and take it up with ur insurance if you have any problems. Also I've never had the area of my arm look like this after getting my blood drawn. Anyone have any ideas ? read more

Liz is the best. My blood work was so quick and painless and she was so nice. I definitely recommend coming to this one.

I should have knows by reading the others reviews but u never think the worse can happen to yourself . Personally I dnt like to post a negative review but when I waited over 45 min I expected to get my blood test done instead coming back with poles needles in both hands and told me to come back and do it again which "No Thank You !" I told them I have a very tiny thin vein and they can't use the regular needle and no one even listen so here I am after three times by swinging needle on my vein and nothing . I expect them to listen to me at least since I know my own body better they do . read more

The nice Indian woman who took my blood was excellent. I hate needles and I didn't feel a thing! If you don't want to wait, make a reservation way ahead of time online. Otherwise, you get what you get. The wait can be long. Just depends on how busy it is. read more

In the previous week I had to come in for an appointment for a blood test and they had told me that I had need to do a test at home for 24 hours. And so after I did the test and came back, I had to go through the check-in system which had placed me an hour from when I had came just for me to drop it off. There was another list for drop offs and so I had to check in with that but turned out, I still needed a regular appointment which was very confusing because I don't understand why they had it in the first place. so then I waited a WHOLE HOUR just to be told I needed to redo my test. Why? Because the last person who gave my the test had forgotten to list me instructions which is very inconvenient. So now I needed to redo my test and I had waisted my time there. read more

I usually go to the one off Waterworks and Laguna Canyon Rd but We got off early From work and was able to get into this location at a sooner time which was great because I had been fasting since bed time 11pm until after this appointment 2pm. All I mostly saw here was bad reviews so I was a little worried. The building seems to be under construction and it wasn't as nice of a set up as the other location BUT I found my technician extremely polite and enjoyed speaking with her during my time there. I was in and out of there in about 20 mins and was taken on time for my appointment. People make appointments and some get upset when an appointment is taken before you because that is typically the rule of any establishment. Appointments before walk ins. Be prepared and you won't be disappointed. read more

Arrive 10:24 am. Checked in on computer. Finally called my name to verify my insurance card and doctor order at 11:38am. It's over 1 hour.... not sure how much longer I need to wait till doing blood. The room is Super small with over 30 people waiting. ... really need improvement!!!! It's 12:16pm now. I am still here. I doubt if they missed me in the queue and dealt with others orders before me. But anyway, I was finally called at 12:20pm. They poked me 4 times. After 4 tubes , my blood stopped and they tried 2 ladies and another 3 pokes and warm pad and finally got 4 more tubes done. I asked if that's all the tubes they needed, she didn't answer me. Just asking me to sign paper. I didn't expect to wait over 2 hours so I did not bring any water and I was dehydrated maybe so no more blood came out after the first 4 tubes. Please make some announcements telling customers the expected wait time so we know what to expect. OVER 2 hour waiting is not only "please sit down and we will call your name". We can come back after 1 hour if you pre-alert the customers. Please improve!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

The front desk receptionist was extremely inattentive and decided that her phone was more important than speaking to me and didn't instruct me on what to do until I got her attention. When I was done with the restroom and going back to the original room I was brought to, the person who was getting my information was laying down on the inspection table (not sure what to call it). Only went here because it's close to my apartment. I'd give this less than one star if I could. Extremely unprofessional atmosphere. read more

I used this location on February 4th to obtained blood work and blood test for a very serious medical condition. 4 days later after visiting my doctors appointment I still have not received my test results nor has my doctor. Due to the stressful nature of the results of my test I decided to visit the testing lab to inquire on when I will receive my results. I met with Sarah at the front desk who was extremely rude and simply kept repeating to me to "check the app" he response was check that app that's all I can tell you. I then asked to speak with a supervisor and was left sitting in the waiting room for 45 minutes before Lea leaving. Stay away ....... And BTW the facility seems dirty. Hoag has a great lab and is far more efficient read more

It's staff, Fariba, is AMAZINGLY professional, VERY ORGANIZED, careful, and patient. I highly recommend this staff and this branch.

I should taken the time to read the reviews before going to this lab. This is the most unprofessional business/Lab, I have ever been to. The women at the front count was just heart wrenching with the way she treated not just me but every single person that attended this facility on 10/08/2018. I didn't catch her name but I can tell you. You made us all feel nothing short from being in a line of cattle. The facility has over 90 complaints and it's obvious this company doesn't care about the well being of its clients otherwise it would attempted to stop having anymore complaints. This company and its employees do not care for your well being do not go to this facility. I am a newly diagnosed diabetic and I was at this facility to have blood work and left there in a lot a pain after what should of been a simple blood work appointment. Look at my picture they tell you just how trained and professional these employees are. Do not do use this lab. Their bathrooms were disgusting and this was a place where a person was suppose to collect samples. It is only a matter a time where sample and blood collections will be contaminated and maybe even people. I urgent Corporte office to contact me. If you do indeed care about us your clients. read more

Really bad about posting, notifying customers of lab hours on holidays. Called their own message had regular hours listed for Christmas Eve. Their website, phone app and Yelp did too. Thought they must close a little earlier on a big holiday so I'd be safe to arrive before they close for lunch at 1pm. I got there at 12:01pm and door was locked with a sign on it saying the hours that day were 6am to 12pm. People were still inside though so I knocked and knocked. Nothing. At 12:03pm a customer came out and said he wasn't supposed to let me in. I just acknowledged him and walked in as I had been fasting for 14 hours for the test. There were still many people inside but even though I explained I had been fasting and showed them my call from night prior to check if they'd be open before I began fasting and even though it would have taken only 3 minutes tops for them to test me, a rude and aggressive man refused me and kept saying we're closed. I test at this lab every three months and have been a customer for years, which telling them also did no good. The man told me to call corporate and gave me their number. Merry Christmas to him too. How is a fasting customer to know the holiday hours if they only post them on a paper sign on the front door the day of? Unprofessional and irritating. ! Did call corporate and spoke with somebody who told me I would receive a call back in 24 to 48 hours. I am still waiting for that call back. Guess they have nothing to say for them selves. Well it took a review on Yelp to get contacted. I will not be contacting them however as my time is priceless and they have used enough of it. read more

The Suite number is not on the confirmation sheet with the QR code to check in. Lots of frustrated people by the time they find it.

This review is for Tammy at 4950 barranca in Irvine location. Tammy is awesome. Tammy went beyond her customer service unlike an floater who happened to be there on Friday June 30th and panicked when I asked for supervisor. The floater brushed me off and Didn't want to look into the form and literally told me she doesn't have all day to figure out the doctor's form. She wasn't pleasant or caring. Anyhow, Tammy figured out my doctors note, printed a better sheet for the lab and took me in with a smile and without hesitation. This is what an awesome person would do yo help sick people. Tammy deserves a raise and pat on the back for caring for patients at Quest. Ask for Tammy if you go to that location. I commend you Tammy for a well done job and thank you so much for making my day. read more

This place only survives because your doctor, like mine sent you here. If you can, request another location. The front staff here is rude and seem to have other priorities than serving you. Like taking their break before they even check in new patients. I mean you gotta take a break from dishing all that nasty attitude all the time. I get it... but please can you finish what you started before? Thats the problem with medical referrals. The receiving conpany does not care about you or your experience. They dont have to try to keep you as a customer because you litterally dont matter to them. read more

Quest Diagnostics is a SCAM. They billed to my employer, not to insurance. Called multiple times to get it fixed. They don't give you a call reference number or anything in email. Further they sent the bill to collection agency. It was a preventive lab work and is fully covered by my insurance but due to the UNETHICAL BILLING PRACTICES BY QUEST DIAGNOSTICS, customers like me have to go through hard time for no reason and it is impacting my credit, mental health, work and life. read more

This place seems like a hit or miss. I came here twice during my lunch break on a weekday and there wasn't a wait either time, which is a bonus. One of the days, there was a sign that said they were out to lunch from 1-2pm, but wasn't there the other time, so I suggest either avoid that window or call first to make sure they're open. My first experience here for drawing blood was horrible. The technician was an older lady named Patricia, who talked a lot, and seemed a little hyper, which made me nervous. The needle insertion was painful, and she jostled the needle with each vial change, which made it worse. After the blood drawing, my arm bruised in the area and was very tender over the next 3 days. I've never had a worse blood drawing experience in my life. I reluctantly went back a few weeks later for further testing, and prayed for another person. Luckily, I had Ashley, a young tech in her early 20s. Her youth made me nervous because I wondered how much experience she could possibly have, but the moment the needle inserted, I was no longer nervous. Ashley was calm and soft spoken, and the process was just as soothing as she was. I mentioned her technique and she said I could always request for her if she's there. It's been a few hours since the drawing, and I don't feel a thing. Ashley is highly recommended, and if I have to come back again, I will make sure she's there otherwise I won't be coming at all. read more

My mom is 83 years old and has stage 3 cancer. She has difficulty walking and uses a walker. Lazy employees. This quest is the worst location around. All they know how to do is waste your time. Do not go here.

With Quest Diagnostics its a hit or miss. I've been to a few other locations in OC and so far my visit here as been the best of all. They did a great job with the set up and making sure to follow social distancing guideline. The place looks clean and well staffed unlike some other locations. I did a walk-in today and I barely had to wait for my turn. The lady who drawn my blood Phuong was very nice and professional. I spent 30 minutes trying to get someone to answer a phone at ANY Quest office. A telephone call to find a location which may offer a specific test landed me in the rat maze with an obnoxious voice offering numerous options which provided me with additional options except an option to speak to a live person. I hope they soon invent the "live person" at Quest. Customers are not lab animals and this rat is out. Ratatouille read more
