My second visit here do to a mix up on my part. The staff went out of their way to help me get the Service I needed. I am back today with paperwork I should have brought on the first day. It would have been better dealt with if I could have been able to talk to someone in the office to express my concerns, without having to go there. Not sure what all this lab does, but I came for blood testing. Seems to be busy all day, the lobby needs a lite cleaning today. AC blowing cold, bring a jacket. read more

I had to get some tests done per doctor's order. I chose this Quest Diagnostic because of location. The office hours are clearly posted on the office window, although it's not clearly visible. I often hear people grumbling about no drug tests on Saturdays. It got used to how they care for the customers. There is no receptionist, just another friendly phlebotomist checks on the waiting area once awhile. So, sign in on the clipboard doesn't matter what, even just to ask a question. It's located on the 4th floor of a short medical building next to the rear of KPRC Channel 2. This office is right across from the elevator. So it doesn't matter which way you turn. Tips: - Avoid lunchtime on Mondays - parking lot is packed. There are other businesses in this medical building. - Plan to be here for longer than expected. So, make an appointment online or on the phone. - Public restrooms are on the first floor as you walk in. read more

I'm well into my 50's and it's time for annual check up's I needed to have labs drawn, my PCP recommended that I go to a Quest Diagnostics of my choice, I picked the closest to me as I do not like to venture out to far.! I tried to set appointment on line but wasn't successful and decided to take my chances as a walk in. The experience was phenomenal place was clean staff was so pleasant and I want to give special recognition to Natalie she is such a wonderful person.! She no's exactly what she's doing, she verified my name and double checked my insurance, gave me a copy for my records, explained what she was about to do and she's a great stick I have bad veins and she got it on the first try ! This laboratory ruined blood tests for me TWICE! The first time, the technician stored my blood incorrectly. I was told that she was a substitute from a different laboratory. So, I had to return to Quest to have my blood drawn. The second time was a few weeks later. Quest failed to order ALL of the tests that my doctor requested. To add insult to injury, the numb-skulls realized the error at some point in time, did not contact me nor my doctor, and put the tests that they missed "on hold" status. I was outraged. I called multiple times attempting to talk to a manager only to be addressed by two incompetent ladies. I am beginning to believe that the entire staff at the Wednesbury location is completely incompetent. Yes, they are quick. But what good is speed, if you have to return to be retested? No front receptionist. No one answers the phone for questions. Even to drop off you must wait over an hour at times. I came in three times beacuse the staff didn't want or didn't know how to collect specimen. At this point I don't even know if the specimen will be able to be tested. I have come to this location 3 times. Each time went smoothly, but for, the last. I was told a $240 hold needed to be put on my debit or credit card, bc the insurance did not cover these routine labs. These are the labs I usually get. Per my employer contract with the insurer they are standing covered orders, specifically with Quest labs. I read contracts, as a lawyer, regularly. I have, I believe a clear understanding of my coverage and how diagnostic versus preventative labs are billed, per my contract. The phlobatamist who drew the labs told me she would, "Waive it this time, but next time, you have to pay. You need to bring a credit card because we don't take cash. You dont have a credit card?" When I mentioned that the labs were covered at 100%, she laughed, "No ones labs are covered at 100% percent. You probably didn't meet your deductible. I work for Quest, and my labs aren't even 100%." No one knows everything. Even when we work in industries and jobs for a time, there are things we do not know, or make mistakes about. Not all patients are ignorant of their contracts. I was insulted and upset by the derogatory insinuations made, because I knew I was being misinformed, but needed the labs done. I stepped outside to call my insurer, before drawing the labs. My insurer via telephone agent, said, "Let her bill you. Those labs are covered under your plan, but just let them go ahead and bill it." Once I got my billing estimate, I discovered, as I knew: My insurance covered the labs in question, at 100%. Had I allowed the unnecessary hold on my account, that money would have been blocked from use, and getting my refund would have been yet another timely and unneccesary burden. While this location is less than 3 miles, the convenience of distance does not overcome the inconvenience of being misbilled and repremanded by a stranger. But I am writing this review here, to inform this location and the public, since my concerns were ignore when I told this location while I was physically there. This tech gave unauthorized and presumably unlicensed legal advice regarding contract interpretation to an agreement of which she is neither party, nor privy. Please place your staff on notice of the illegalities and the potential liabilities of giving legal advice to patients. Without a proper license, to do so, this employee (P*t***ce), should refrain. The consequences of practicing law without a license, are far greater than $240. read more

Walked in with no appointment. Signed-in on the iPad in front of the front desk. I was taken back within 5 minutes and out of the office within 10-12. The lady who took my blood was very friendly and accommodating, while being professional. Go to the 4th floor on the elevator and then follow the hall all the way to the right until you end up across from the elevators and you'll be at the suite. read more

This place is awesome! Unlike the south loop location which is not run well, this place was customer service oriented. I was met with the friendly smile of Ms. Pleasant. She was really super sweet and we talked about African food and fufu while she drew the copious amount of blood. Boy was I light headed for a second but Ms. Pleasant made me feel at ease. Been here since 9am they have you waiting for ever the doctor didn't show up until 1pm.... They skip you in line for the procedure, they communication is horrible, and they are very unprofessional...
