No crossing street and no crazy garage drivers. Just remember about the parking fee. They don't validate and kiosk takes credit card and cash only. If you collect Susan B Anthony coins, this machine would give you plenty. I noticed the bathroom was very clean and they got really comfortable toilet seat. So if I have natural's call in a hurry, I'd pay $4 to park here and enjoy the amenities on the first floor.

There's a pre-screening application you have to fill out - name, address, insurance, etc. I had to print out a sheet for the lab to fill out. I got a text with check-in instructions and confirmed the appointment while waiting in the parking lot. When the appointment is ready, I got a text to come inside. The lab is on the 2nd floor straight out of the elevator. I was called less than 5 minutes after entering. The lab tech took me back and locked my personal belongings in a box in the bathroom, I guess to prevent fraud? He took my ID and gave me a sample cup for a urine sample, giving me 4 minutes. Again, I guess to prevent fraud. After giving the sample, the tech signed me out on the computer and sent me on my way, saying the results would be sent to my employer in 24 hours. I was in and out in 15 minutes, pretty painless.

While it would be nice if Quest could validate parking, $5 is not too steep, especially when compared to Texas Medical Center. I made an appointment online for 10 am. Arrived in office at 9:48 am. Checked in on my phone (it showed me a countdown until I was allowed to check in at 9:50). I was called about 9:52 and taken to room two. The woman was so nice and I enjoyed chatting with her. She is a med student & it seemed she truly cared about my visit. She expertly drew blood samples. Verified my name, spelling, labels several times to ensure my samples were marked properly. I was out of there by 10:10am! Great location, great service! If I need labs again, will probably come here. Have to do it in the next few years before she graduates med school and is practicing! Waiting room: small, maybe 10 chairs. Kiosk to check-in if you can't check in on your phone or if you do not have an appointment. Comfortable temperature and hand sanitizer available.

When I came back I had to wait another 15-20 minutes before anyone came back to desk. Once the lady arrived I was literally standing in front of her and she didn't even acknowledge me, she looked at everyone else and asked each of them who was first. Even after I told her I was next me and my child still wasn't seen until after everyone was seen. The bad thing about it I didn't realize how crazy it was to be treated like this and I'm the only black person in the clinic. When it was time to go in the room the female assistant with the Gold hair was very rude to me. She made me get out the room because I was finishing up a some work from my job. Which literally took two minutes, however I had to wait after they took care everyone who were after me. Terrible staff here, thank you to the one staff (Michelle)that made us feel valued, because of her I will give this clinic a chance. People need to learn how to treat everyone the same regardless of race, because you never know who you're being rude to!
