APRIL is the name of the cheerful Phlebotomist who gets my five stars! She took four vials, and gave me two DIY tests to take. All the while we chatted about really funny stuff and how she has a "window office." Her caring and professional care made my experience not unpleasant. I'm putting the photo of the needle mark to show how it was not even bruised! It did bleed under the skin a bit. Her type of health care that is quick and efficient with a jokes is rare. Even my wife who hates needles gave her high praise, saying it "only hurt a little at the beginning." When I said that it always hurts a little, she agreed and said that since she has had some very awful blood draws in the past, this one was pretty ideal. read more

The girl that helps with kiosk is kind and patient with those that have a little more problems using a computer.

This facility is located on Stetson St., Hemet, Ca I took a 93 year old lady for follow up blood tests; she was anxious and worried. We arrived at 9:45 a.m. We checked in at the Kiosk and that system was good for me, as I am computer proficent, she is not. Other patients came in while we were checking and staff came out to assist them in checking-in. Good idea-not all people know how to work computers. Unfortunately, we chose to make an appointment, which was 1:40 p.m. We left and went to eat, then my friend wanted to go back to see if we could wait. When we first arrived Lorena was standing near the kiost; she asked if/when we had appointment, then gave me a flyer to cancel the appointment either by phone or on-line. I was a little annoyed with her. I tried to cancel on the phone standing outside the office, but we needed the appointment confirmation number? We didn't write anything down when we made the appointment on the kiosk. We walked back into the waiting area. Lorena and Jessica became very helpful to us and helped me change the information on the kiosk to setup my friend as a walk-in. We then waited about 5 minutes and they called my friend inside for a blood draw. While she was inside I assisted 2 patients on using the kiosk. read more

Slow. short staffed... Yet another typical company trying to "get-by" on COVID skeleton staffing at the time and expense of their customers. ANOTHER WALMART with long goofy lines. COVID IS OVER. HIRE PEOPLE! The common banter in the waiting room with patients today is: "How much we really HATE IT HERE!'. Very frustrating. They also have numerous "empty address's" listed all over Hemet - with abandoned property when you arrive from prior "moved from: business locations and addresses listed. I WNT TO TWO LISTED LOCATIONS before I found a QUEST . I would verify this address foolishness first. It's all kind of "sketchy". The "moving around", sketchy locations and abandoned locations all over Hemet... staffing with bare necessity staffing... The company is obviously trying to squeeze every penny it possibly can from the area by not staffing and upgrading locations to more "professional" areas and locations. Who ever is in charge of this area is asleep at the wheel with QUEST. Try to choose another lab testing company or location. This location sucks. read more

I have two different options for Quest near me. This location is much further from my home. Let me tell you ... the drive was worth it. I don't like playing "Find the vein" I am never the winner. I have been here a couple of times. The new "scan" your license on the machine takes forever. Bypass that by clicking on "I do not consent" in the beginning and they can scan your license anytime after. My husband was waiting 3 hrs today, we realize it was busy, when they did call him, they stated they did not get anything from the doctor, so I had a copy of what the dr faxed, Its dated 3-25 2022 . They advised it was expired and could not be used. I then spoke to the Dr, offfice and they advised the order is good for 3 months. I asked your office about the Fax, and still no fax, the doctor sent at 10:39 this morning. This was an all around horrible experience. My husband is 68, and has horrible back pain, the waiting 3 hrs, then being told the 2 week old order was expired. He tried everything, not understanding what was going on, and while i was on the phone, they just said, can't use a verbal from me? I in no way requested someone use my word for a test. Also not one of your staff offered to call my Dr to get this straightened out, they could obviously see this order was issued 3-25 of this year. ALSO, prior to this visit, we verified that an electronic order was out on my quest account dated 4-7-2022, while speaking with one of your office staff, I was told nothing was out there. What is the most concerning is when I went to find again, somehow it was now deleted and not showing. I will be getting ahold of Scan to advise this issue. maybe they can approve another lab. read more

I went to Quest this morning for blood work for my upcoming physical. The place was packed. But, even so, they were very efficient in moving people in and out. Check-in was automated using self-service kiosks. Our turn came up quickly (we had scheduled appointments.) From the time we were called (my wife and I scheduled appointments close together), until the time we left took only about 7 or 8 minutes. The phlebotomist had me verify my name on the labels, drew three vials of blood, and had me check my name and doctor again on the vials at the end. Even though we were moved in and out quickly, I didn't feel rushed. It was a great experience. read more

This place is a nightmare, that's seems to be the normal with most quest locations, they say they take walk ins but in reality they don't. This place actually tells you once you are there they do t take walk ins only appointments, it's doesn't say that on the website. I usually take her but I had to work, so she took her first Uber. My 80 yo mother got there at 9:30am and they refused to take her without appointment so they helped her make one for 1:15, she is fasting and now has to wait, even though there not a lot of people. I called to try to speak someone, you can't talk to anyone in that office it's a message that gives you every option but one to speak to someone at that office. They should try to take her in between others....Terrible. So frustrating. Update: they ended up taking her at 10:30 but the stress she suffered really was unnecessary. read more

I've never tried a drug in my life however that didn't stop this place from saying my veins were hard and accused me of being a drug user in front of my daughter, can we say inappropriate? If I can give this place a 0 I would. Worst customer service with rude employees that don't have any care. Why get in healthcare if you don't have any care or compassion. Made an appointment on the phone, showed up and they don't have my appointment somehow. Waited on the waitlist for two hours without them calling any walkings. When you check in it says the wait could be 30 to and hour I waited two hours and the employee said oh well you don't have and appointment and if appointments keep coming in you won't be seen. Rude people unprofessional with no care. These people shouldn't even have a job. I'll take my insurance money somewhere else besides Quest. They need to do a better job hiring people. read more

The BEST phlebotomist Lorena is truly incredible! Lorena is Always kind, patient, professional, and above all compassionate. This means a lot to me, as I am not an easy draw. Was nervous to try this place out due to the bad reviews but I had a great experience. I recommend making an appointment because it makes the process quick and easy. Fast check in on the kiosk and was called in exactly at my appointment time. The lady who withdrew my blood was very kind and gentle as she knew I was nervous. I had an 8:390 appointment., I arrived at 8:03 to find the gate into the parking lot is still lock andvthere are about 10 cars in line to go in. Mind yoy the 1st appointment was at 7 pm. Tried calling but cannot get thru to a live person. Finally, at 8:20 the automatic gate opened. A hige crowd of people are waiting outside the door as it is locked. Knowing there will no no way that I was going to be drawn at 8:30 after fasting, I left. How unprofessional is this organization? After checking in via the kiosk i was instructed to wait for 1 hour for the next appointment ok its now 1:30 pm no breakfast no big deal I wait the plebotomist I had was in bad mood I asked her for drink of water for the urine test i Knew was coming she said no water. Ten minutes is all you have to produce a sample or come back back because im leaving ? come some other day well thats not the answer i would expect from a professional. Just say you don't take walk ins. We waited for over an hour and a half. At around the one hour Mark we were told we were 6th in line. A half hour later we were 8th in line. FOR A FASTING LAB. The person we originally checked in with and then saw again at the one hour mark should have explained that "appointment preferred" location doesn't mean what it sounds like. read more

I have been going to Quest Labs for at least the last six years and have always had excellent treatment by everyone of the staff members. Yes, once and a while there is a little bruising, I believe it is to be expected, they want to keep from having this happen only my veins are small from chemo and it is difficult to find them, so they have to move the needle to find the vein. With any medical appointment there is always the possibility of an emergency which can add waiting time to your appointment. I give Quest five stars for the excellent service. Way to go Quest Labs!!!! I would recommend them to anyone. read more

Good Lord, what a horrible place. All I could think of was "filthy and inhuman". When I hobbled into the entrance.... Well, it was actually blocked with people...via my cane, I noted the large reception room, and no one minding a desk. No desk at all, in fact. There was an iPad type accessory there where absolutely everyone's hands had to touch to check themselves in. During COVID restrictions. I was glad I had an appointment, because people were jammed everywhere. Outside, in the buildings lobby, on the stairs, all waiting their turn. They only had six chairs, and they were full. No one in the chairs seemed willing to offer their seat to anyone appearing aged or disabled. What a new world. I hobbled over to a far corner, in the waiting room, that was empty. I soon found out why. A tech soon came to shoo everyone, that weren't seated, out into the crowded lobby. My appointment was at 10:45. I heard a woman ask when her 9:45 appointment would be honored. They said there were a few ahead of her. While I waited, I noted the filthy floors, and the light fixtures, FULL of dead bugs. Techs were walking around wearing gloves that obviously hadn't been changed all morning. What I don't understand, during this pandemic, is why, in some healthcare facilities , they insist on masks, but ignore basic hygiene. I felt like I was standing in a pudding of bacteria, and knew this was a COVID crap shoot. I finally got called in and met with an adorable, and very sweet tech. I could see her frustration, but she remained very cordial. I urged her to find other employment! I was given a cup and sent to the littered restroom to provide a urine sample. No seat covers. Trash covered the dirty floor . The cupboard where you usually place your samples was taped shut. So, I was told to just leave it on the shelf by the toilet. Absolutely anything could go on with that sample, once I left, and I was sure it would be quite some time before it was collected. The place was a complete filthy, cluttered mess, from top to bottom. How on earth do you get a decent test result from such a bacteria filled mess? I suppose that's another crap shoot. I personally will NEVER go there again. The only bright spot was the sweet and gracious tech, though how she remained so was beyond me. Good luck if u have to go here! read more

Usually have such a great experience here- we love Erika! But lately, it's been miserable!! Not the phlebotomists fault, but they definitely need to either hire more phlebotomist or not let so many time slots be booked. My 7 year old daughter has several medical problems, so we are here every couple weeks for either blood draws or drop offs (which I HATE how you now have to make an appointment for specimen drop offs) but we've NEVER had such a miserable experience as we did today. My daughter needed to have blood drawn as well as drop off specimen. We talked in and it was FLOODED with people! I check in at for her 8:50 appointment at 8:40 and see 10 8:30 appointments on the screen, followed by 10 8:40 appointments. INSANE!!! If you're short handed, don't allow so many appointments to be booked. The waiting room was packed so we wait on the stair near the urgent care. In over hear a man saying his appointment was at 8:30- however, he wasn't called until 9:30!!! So I had an idea what we were in store for. Some people can handle that but my 7 year old daughter has Crohn's diseases swell as other diagnoses. This means she has to use the restroom on a whim sometimes. The nearest bathroom is locked and since the remodel inside quest, we can't use the restroom unless a phlebotomist comes through the locked door. Her urgency comes so suddenly and having to wait until 10am was just a nightmare!!! We've never had such a bad experience as far the wait goes. The phlebotomist that did my daughters labs was GREAT! But there needs to be major changes made here! This is unacceptable to wait over an hour past your appointment time. Especially for the elderly/disabled and very young, medically fragile kids. QUEST! Appointments serve a purpose and waiting over 15 minutes is ridiculous when u have a scheduled appointment whole system is bs! U should be taking appointments as scheduled! However my labs were not in the system and they allowed me to call my doctors office and have them send them over. I waited like 10 minutes and they took me promptly so my experience became better. read more

This is what I put on the "satisfaction survey" @ Quest online. We arrived at 9:10 for some fasting lab work. I made the mistake of not making an appt. I was told the wait would be 25 minutes and they would call me on my cell when they were ready. I waited in my car for 30 minutes. I went back inside and checked the monitor and found that it was going to be another 25 minutes. I returned to my car for another 30 minutes. at 10:30 I went back inside and found I was # 4 on the list. about 10 mintues later I was now # 7. @ 10:45 they called me in. They could not find the orders from my Dr. I KNOW they either faxed them or sent them electronically. They checked the fax and couldn't find it so they said I would have to leave, call my Dr. then come back another time. This after I had waited for over an hour and a half. I called my Dr. and they HAD sent them in electronically. Quest employees were apparently not interested in finding my orders. My Dr. office said they would FAX them to them. So, I came home and attempted to contact the office before making an appt to come back in. I wanted to be sure that they actually HAD the orders before I wasted another morning on them. I called the Hemet office #. Listened to a whole diatribe concerning Covid 19 testing and was instructed to "Press 6" to speak to someone. I pressed 6. I was told that this as an "invalid number". I called back 5 times. Once, I got thru to a voice message that informed me that the mailbox for this number is not set up and to call back later. I have worked in the health care industry my whole life. I have NEVER been so incredibly frustrated! What can I do about it? Nothing. I get it that everyone is stressed out over this pandemic. It's horrible, I know. but how is treating your patients in this matter helpful to anyone. I guess I have no recourse other than to make an appt for another day, show up and HOPEFULLY they can locate my orders. I'm actually considering changing my med group to someone who uses LabCorp. I NEVER had these kinds of problems with them. read more

Usually don't have a problem here but I find it pretty frustrating when you schedule an appointment yet still wait 20+ minutes. What's the point of an appointment when others are being called back before you... My appointment time on the screen kept getting pushed back and 1 minute wait (according to the screen) turned into 20. Staff is nice but I wish they would be on top of those with appointments. read more
